The Victorian Rose Garden is located in historic downtown Algonquin. Enjoy our garden and wrap-around porch, or visit Towne Park through our back gate.
Victorian Rose Garden is located in a quiet neighborhood with restaurants and small shops within walking distance.
The Parlor, as it was long ago, is a place to enjoy each other's company, a cup of tea or piano melodies.
A favorite of guests is the Great Room where a carved wooden rocking horse and other Victorian memorabilia pique guests’ curiosity. Guests enjoy this room while playing games, visiting or settling by the fire to read.
A delicious, full breakfast is served in our dining room.
This old-fashioned barber shop corner is a great place to enjoy a book.
Presidential Chamber - $149 Elegance permeates this burgundy and cream guest room featuring a King bed, fireplace, and small refrigerator. The private bath includes a clawfoot tub, separate shower, and bidet.
Miss Alicia's room - $99 This light, floral room includes a daybed.
Lady Teresa's room - $99 This room is decorated in beige and shades of blue and rose, and includes a chaise lounge and an armoire.
Sir James Room - $99 This room has a masculine touch with lots of wood, burgundy and shades of blue.

Victorian Rose Garden Bed & Breakfast is a gracious 1886 Folk Victorian home nestled in the Fox Valley. Visitors enjoy restful accommodations, Parlor with grand piano, Great Room with a cozy fireplace, Library, and inviting Porch, Patio and Garden. A complimentary full breakfast is served in the dining room. Each guest room is uniquely inviting. Contemporary amenities compliment every room's history and antiques. The elegant Presidential Chamber features a king bed, private bath, and fireplace. Miss Alicia's Room, Lady Teresa's Room and Sir James Room each have a queen bed, private bath, and pleasant touches of color. Whether guests are vacationing, traveling for business, relocating or celebrating a special occasion, they can enjoy a myriad of attractions, restaurants, shopping, fitness opportunities and business resources nearby, as well as parks, lakes and rivers. A well-tended bike path is minutes from our door. I visit my Grandchildren in Algonquin twice a year and always stay at the Victorian Rose Garden. After giving my all to the children during the day it is so nice to come back to my charming quiet room for a restful evening and good night sleep. Sherry is a wonderful host who is always available to hand off a cup of coffee or tea. I usually eat breakfast with my grandchildren rather than at the B&B which is a huge sacrifice as I walk pass the beautifully layed dining table and smell the delicious breakfast wafting out of the kitchen. My husband and I stayed for 2 days and it was very relaxing. The rooms was amazing. The innkeeper, Shari, was very good to us. We have stayed previously over the last 10 years and we will continue to go when we need to relax and unwind.

Sherry and Caroline we incredible hostesses during our stay. The night we stayed at the Rose Garden, we had wonderful conversation and tea with Sherry, while Caroline filed the kitchen with the aroma of freshly baked homemade scones. Our room was perfect and breakfast was delicious! I would definitely recommend a trip to this wonderful B&B.
