Flagg Farmstead B&B is located just north of Springfield in Sherman, Il. one half mile north of the Rail Golf Course, 15 minutes from Abraham Lincoln's Presidential Library and Museum in Springfield and 18 miles from Lincoln's New Salem. This wonderful Italianate home, built in 1871, is surrounded by seven acres of stately trees. This gracious home offers five antique furnished bedrooms with private baths. Your stay will include a sumptuous breakfast served in the elegant dining room. Flagg Farmstead is listed in the National Register of Historic Homes.

From I-55 northbound or southbound, take Sherman exit on the north edge of Springfield, turn right and proceed to first stop light (Andrew Road) turn right and proceed past fire station (on right) and library (on left) to Old Tipton School Road. Turn left on Old Tipton. Flagg Farmstead is on left. From Springfield, take 9th street north to Route 4 (Bus.55), continue north across Sangamon River to Sherman. Turn left at second stop light.
