If it's solitude and warmth that you seek, find your way to The Farm and up the stairs of The Loft. My girlfriend and I soaked up as much of the cozy, quiet atmosphere as we could for two days and nights. Both being from Springfield and not needing see it's wonderful sites or eating at all of our favorite spots, we opted to bring our own delicious foods to make our own meals for the entire weekend and just to "get away from it all." It's easy to make everything feel like home in The Loft, with a quaint fireplace in the living area to warm your toes, a shower that can't go without singing in, and an absence of worries and stresses that can all rejuvenate a stationary spirit. We will definitely be returning to The Farm and hopefully bringing friends and family with us! -Ryan and Cassie-

My husband and I stayed at the Loft as a way to have some time away. We loved everything about our stay. It was peaceful and quiet. We had breakfast on the back porch and I enjoyed a long nap during one afternoon. There are lots of tourist things to do in Springfield and the local area. However, we did tourist things before we arrived at the Loft and after we left. My husband and I would highly recommend staying at the Loft. Gail is extremely helpful and just a fun person to visit with. You will not be disappointed.

Searching this site from CA for a place to take my Super Senior Mom from Central Illinois I felt I hit the lottery in selecting The Loft. Our hostess Gail went beyond reach to help complete our experience. The space is so generous maybe we will include Mom's best friend and her daughter. You won't be disappointed

We celebrated my daughter's 12th Birthday at The Farm. My daughter and her 4 friends had a GREAT time. They want to live there! Gail and Eric attended to every small detail. I never had to ask for a thing. ALL needs were anticipated. The Farm is such a great find. A magical place full of beauty and peace. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. If you are thinking of staying there, I can tell you that you will NOT be disappointed.

We had a very comfortable and enjoyable night for 4 ladies to escape the craziness of home and day to day. Quiet, welcoming surroundings. Who wouldn't feel welcome when 4-hooved folks come to great you as you pull up? Just right for a get-away!

Charming, spacious and cozy. It was a great way to spend a cold February weekend. The beds were sumptuous, the gas stove delightful. The loft was so clean and simply decorated. Loved it--will be back again!

Oh my goodness! I happened to find The Loft by chance on the internet. Didn't know anything about it except for the pictures/website. It looked so darling but, you never know......Well, this place is everything and more! Everything detail of the space is so thoughtfully done and welcoming. Amazing walk-in shower room, awesome mattresses, cozy and comfortable couch, great deck and a beautiful setting. We loved seeing the horses and miniature donkeys. What a surprise! Gail is a terrific hostess and we cannot wait to go back. What a gift!

We booked a night at The Loft and left saying we should have stayed the entire weekend! The pure solitude instantly won us over. The warm welcoming we received from Gail added to the whole experience. We could have sat for hours on the back balcony enjoying eachother's company and the natural beauty of the land. The fire was perfect and warmed us just enough to enjoy a good night's sleep. We ended our stay with an early morning walk around the property and visited with the animals. If you haven't experienced this B & B, I would write it down on the "To Do" list!

Staying at the Loft was the best choice we could have made. It was lovely, peaceful, and comfortable beyond belief. Driving up the gravel driveway we had big smiles on our faces. Opening the door we just said, "Wow". It was a lot of fun seeing the farm animals too.

We had our wedding and reception on the grounds and they let us use The Loft as our 'bridal suite'. We also had the pleasure of staying there the night of! The Adamski's were so accommodating and awesome to work with!! We recommend The Farm for weddings every chance we get and rave about The Loft right along with it! Our day wouldn't have been as wonderful as it was if it weren't for such a beautiful place! It truly is a gem!! Christopher & ReJeana Hager

The Loft was recommended to me by a colleague who had stayed there with her husband this summer. They had a wonderful time and enjoyed the venue. My wife and I stayed there on 8/24 on our way from Bloomington/Normal to Carlinville to an Illinois State University student retreat. We regretted that we only had one night to spend. The place is comfortable, cozy, quiet, and reflects quality in its craftsmanship. Gail and Eric were warm, gracious, and accomodating. We visited the shop and purchased a beautiful wreath, soaps, and several other unique gift items. It's worth the trip whether stopping by or a destination.

The Loft was a wonderful place to get away from life to relax and rejuvenate. It is hidden down a winding stone road in the midst of cornfields and surrounded by trees. The surroundings are beautiful and as you climb up the stairs into The Loft itself, you find beauty also. The quality of the Loft is exceptional. The beds are super, super comfy.....a must for me when I'm looking for a hideaway. Everything you could want is in the Loft; comfy sofa & chair, books, table and chairs, frig, microwave, ample size bathroom with an amazing walk-in shower and more. The balcony was my favorite as I loved sitting and looking out at the surrounding countryside filled with a horse, two adorable donkeys, wild turkeys, birds, deer, raccoons, wildflowers and more. The experience of The Loft is so very relaxing. Gail was an amazing hostess and so very accommodating to our needs. I had lost my phone charger and she was so gracious as to let us use one of hers so that I did not have to drive in to town to find one. The Loft was truly a gift from God for me as I was in need of rest and rejuvenation. When I drove away from The Loft I was praising Jesus for the gift.

I took my husband to stay at the Loft B&B as a surprise for his birthday and he and I both LOVED it! It is well appointed, comfortable, beautifully decorated, peaceful and completely PRIVATE! Close enough to town to be able to go out if you choose but far enough out to ensure peace and quiet! Gail and Eric are such gracious hosts! Don't miss shopping in their store - lovely items for everyone! Can't wait to go back!
