Amazing home, wonderful breakfasts, and fabulous host and hostess. Staying at the Aldrich House was one of the high points of our stay in Galena. The home is beautifully furnished, meticulously maintained, and the hosts make you feel very welcome.

Have never stayed at a B&B, wanted to try it out with my wife during our 20th anniversary. Our trip to Galena (first time as well) was only improved by this excelent house and the warm friendly service from Fran & Brain. Well worth every penny and we stayed in the RH McClellan Room

Our group of three couples met in Galena for a long weekend. I was born in Galena many years ago and spent a lot of time there as a child at my grandmother's (we moved when I was 4) running around town with cousins. So I was taking my wife and four friends down memory lane. The Aldrich House was simply perfect for our weekend. We were able to walk over to Main Street very easily; the breakfasts were terrific; and the proprietors were friendly and very helpful. All six of us were extremely pleased with everything and we would return there in a heart beat.

May 12, 2014 This is a beautiful home away from home. We thoroughly enjoyed the screened in porch, the hospitality and the breakfasts were very good. Fran and Brian were very helpful and we enjoyed visiting with them. It is close to downtown and we enjoyed walking and learning about the beautiful town of Galena. Our three days in the area flew by too quickly.

I have found my favorite Bed & Breakfast in Galena! Aldrich Guest House Bed & Breakfast is the place to stay. Brian and Fran are fantastic hosts, and I am happy to now call them friends. My room had a warm and comfy feel and I loved having my own private bath and fireplace! The bed was just the right amount of soft, so I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. It was a quick walk to downtown so no worries about driving after my wine tasting :) I definitely will stay again.

Me and my fiance took a winter 4 day weekend in Galena. We were also scouting places to hold our small wedding in June 2015. The residence was beautiful. The yard looked spacious and with some summer imagination I could see that it would be a beautiful place for a wedding. The walk to downtown Galena was around 3 blocks. I enjoyed staying off the main drag for sleeping. The host were wonderful and helpful. Breakfast was amazing especially the cinnamon bun pancakes.
