The Villa D' Citta is a boutique mansion nestled in the heart of one of Chicago's most thriving neighborhoods, close to great restaurants, venues, and everything great that summer in Chicago has to offer. The 1,000 sq foot Grand Tuscan boasts luxury amenities, affordable rates, and a touch of Italian style you cannot experience anywhere else in the city. Constructed in 1887, as a summer cottage this Chicago greystone it’s in a league of its own. Inside lies a true taste of Italian luxury unparalleled in the Windy City. The current owner has spent the past seven years renovating the property with the help of award winning Chicago architecture firm Burns and Beyerl, last years, proud recipient of the coveted National Preservation Excellence Award. At the Villa, the Subzero stocked w/ eggs, ham, Italian salami and cheeses, is yours to match up w/ fresh Italian bread, ripe tomatoes, peppers to throw on the Panini maker or range for custom omelets. Enjoy fresh squeezed Orange Juice, Grade A. milk and Filtered water. Enjoy twenty-four hour access to the gourmet kitchen area for winding and dining as well as the out door BBQ in the grotto.

What a quaint, quiet old world retreat right in the middle of Lincoln Park. Our host was superb, and what a cook! It felt as if we were staying with good friends in their private home--very warm and intimate -- what a pleasure.

The Grand Tuscan Suite is our largest and most luxurious suite. It`s three rooms total over 1000 square feet, the full master bath features twin sinks, a marble over-sized soaking tub, and twenty-five head full steam shower. There is a boarding room which can accommodate two additional guests with satellite TV in the room. The room itself boasts relaxing views, an over-sized king canopy bed, wall mounted big screen TV, sitting area, fire place, a french door walk out terrace, and beautiful hard wood floors.

Cesar's Lair is our newest addition to the Villa. As the original owner's quarters, Cesar's is our most private suite located on the first floor with a plush Queen Bed and amenities to make you feel right at home. Turn left when you reach N Halsted St. Your desination will be on your left at 2230 N Halsted St. From the South Take I-90W and merge onto W/I-94 W. Take exit 48 B for IL-64/North Ave. Turn right onto IL-64 E/W North Ave and turn left onto N. Halsted Ave. Your desination will be on your left at 2230 N Halsted St. The Chicago L Red line is a few blocks from our property. Exit train at the Fullerton stop and walk East to first large intersection at Halsted and Fullerton. Turn Right to walk S. Down Halsted. Past DePaul Univeristy you will find 2230 N. Halsted on your right. There is free street parking on N. Halsted St. in front of our property. We also have a 2 Car garage in back that we would be happy to reserve for you at $25 a night.
