From the exterior of this house we had no idea how stunning the two-story high ceiling in the king bedroom and our private foyer were going to look. Bath and linens were very clean and furnishings beautiful throughout the grand house. Very accessible to both bus and metro. It was verrry much worth the value for what we spent. The hospitality really made our stay exceptional. Everything we might have needed, the hosts had already thought of. When we awoke to a big rainstorm, there were two umbrellas set just outside our door which we put to good use, as we’d not brought any because it was winter. We would definitely choose this home away from home again. - A and S Goldman, Austin TX

The room was spotless, spacious and very comfortable. We felt we definitely got more than we paid for. I have to say the furnishings were very high-end beautiful decorated with leather headboard and leather bench at foot of bed, silk draperies, plush seating. This was my first visit to Chicago and I felt at home right away. Overall, I think we were lucky to have snagged reservations at this particular spot and neighborhood and recommended it to our friends who are going there this summer. Transportation was really well for us–-near subway and more than one bus stops. The Chicago CTA system rocks. We had a blast. Carrie & Ed

Came to the city for the weekend to visit our son; picked this place because it was right in the middle of his neighborhood and much more accessible than the downtown hotels. We were really surprised. Beautiful quiet and spacious; we've been to some B&Bs before that did not smell great or were cramped. This was as beautiful as the pictures. Best part--fantastic location. Walked out the door into a beautiful neighborhood full of shopping, restaurants, coffee shops. Just charming.

Location is great, house is beautiful, cozy, big rooms. Love the Anthropologie linens. Quiet and peaceful in the middle of the hussle and bussle of Chicago. Can't wait to come back.

Targeting Chicago for an anniversary escape, my husband and I came across the Lincoln Park Guesthouse, and were thrilled with the experience. Former Lincoln Park residents, we didn't really expect anything to give us the "insider's" experience, but this came as close as we could imagine, and added a feeling of opulence and tidiness that we weren't able to create in our past digs. You are right in the middle of the DePaul/Fullerton neighborhood - 6 blocks from the Lake, and 1-3 blocks away from Thai, Pizza, Burgers, Bars and fun night spots. The hospital and a few churches are also steps away. Only downside for TV fans is that you won't find one here. This made us happy, but bring your own intelligent device or portable laptop if staying on top of the news or TV is important to you. Thanks LPG House for an awesome 3rd year anniversary.
