Great Place close to Chicago

B&B is fantastic. Variety of good restaurants within walking distance. The host are great and provided great information on area attractions.

special anniversary

5 on August 01, 2014

This was my wife and I first time stay at a B&B, we were celebrating 21 years of our wonderful marriage, cant begin to say enough about the victorian rose garden and our lovely hostess, and wonderful guests me had the pleasure of meeting. Looking forward to our next visit.to enjoy that romantic beautiful experience again Carl & Mary Mccomb. Plainfield, Illinois.

Wonderful experience!

5 on July 24, 2014

We loved staying at the Victorian Rose Garden B&B! Shari, our hostess, was warm and friendly and her home was beautiful and comfortable. The gardens were in full bloom, and our room was very pretty and the bed extremely comfortable. A plus is the short walk to town and local restaurants, as well as the park 2 blocks away with a waterfall and colorful fountains!

What a Wonderful Experience

5 on June 12, 2014

Our family recently spent 5 nights at the beautiful Victorian Rose Garden and had a wonderful time. We booked both the Presidential Chamber and Miss Alicia's Room and they were both delightful. The Presidential Chamber was very comfortable and spacious, and Miss Alicia's Room was a cheerful and happy room. Sherry was extremely helpful and gracious, Carolyn's breakfast dishes were scrumptious, and little Boogey Boy was a charmer. It was all that we hoped for and more, and we will definitely stay here the next time we are in the area. Thanks, Sherry and Carolyn, for making us feel at home and please say hello to Boogey Boy for us.

My Strongest Possible Recommendation

5 on May 06, 2014

I cannot recommend the Victorian Rose Garden highly enough. My wife and I recently stayed here for the first part of our honeymoon and are still talking about what a splendid time we had during our stay! The rooms are cozy, the food is spectacular, and Sherry is a kind, thoughtful, and gracious hostess. My wife and I would stay here again in a heartbeat and would give it the highest of recommendations to anyone considering staying here.

Hospitality Plus

We booked 3 rooms for the weekend for a family event. It was a busy schedule for us but Sherry went overboard in adapting to our needs with breakfast trays in our rooms each morning.

Elegant Charming Get Away

4.8 on February 04, 2014

One of the best B&B's we've enjoyed. It has everything you'd expect and more. So peaceful and quiet with a bunch of pampering added made for a much- needed night away. Outstanding breakfast and snacks as well.

Perfect!

My stay at Victorian Rose Garden provided the perfect complement to a next day professional workshop. It turned a business trip into a retreat! I highly recommend the Victorian Rose Garden.

This B&B Wraps You Up in Warmth and Comfort

5 on January 31, 2014

Our second time at this B&B - tucked away in my hometown. Close enough to the freeway as well as to every shop you can imagine PLUS cozy upped against the cutest little Algonquin downtown. Stayed here this time because of a death in the family - unexpected, my little sister. SO needed a little TLC, and Sherri and CarolAnn were at the ready - as was the old Victorian itself. Great conversation and yummy eats! THANK YOU AGAIN for a great, great stay!

Wanted to stay on to experience more good cooking.

Charming home and town. Easily accessible to greater Chicago Area. Hostess was available but allowed for my privacy. I'll be back!
