The Greyhouse Inn Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful Victorian styled house nestled in the foothills of the Salmon mountains. White gingerbread trim set against gray siding, large windows, white picket fence, and lilac bushes give the impression of a postcard rather than real life. Once described as a farmhouse, this house is more Anne of Green Gable style than normal western convention. Four beautiful bedrooms all with individual personality, the tower room is the largest of the rooms has a private bath, king size bed with beautiful floral carpet and an outstanding view of the surrounding mountains. The green room with its beautiful cove ceilings and antique metal full size beds and floral carpet with a view of the mountains. The bath is shared and has a claw footed bath tub with antique brass and porcelain shower. The attic room with a beautiful bell post bed, red carpet, French doors that open on to a second story deck with a wonderful view of the rock formations, on the mountains along the Salmon river. The garden room located on the first floor with a private bath and antique spool bed, hard wood floors that are over 100 years old, French doors and a private deck overlooking the flower garden that is full of black eyed Susan's. The dining area is very charming with beautiful rose patterned wall paper and bay windows with a view of the mountains and park like yard. The living room has antique furniture, hardwood floors and red wall paper very charming place to relax and do a little reading. The kitchen is large with a bright and cheery breakfast nook, with stained glass windows and a view of the flower garden. You can set and watch the Ruby Throated humming birds feeding from the feeder.
