This winding, two-lane highway follows the Clearwater River from East to West between Missoula, Montana and Lewiston, Idaho in the north central part of the state. Reflections Inn is located midway on this route just 11 miles east of Kooskia and 11 miles west of Lowell between Mile Markers (the little green posts) 84 and 85.

East on Highway 12 toward Montana to mile marker 84.7. This will take about 1 3/4 hours.
