Our stay at Log Spirit was a weekend getaway in search of some rest and relaxation. We got what we came for. The room was very comfortable, and the entire property was quiet. It is nicely tucked into the woods in North Idaho, but not too far off the beaten path, so it's easy to find. You can read a book in the living room, or take a walk around the property. It is absolutely beautiful here. The breakfast is made with fresh, local ingredients, and Robin is a fantastic cook. We also stayed in for dinner one night, and it was way better than being in some busy restaurant.

We really enjoyed our stay. Both Robin and Lew could not have been more gracious and accomidating. The room was wonderful! I loved the rustic feel and the cared bears in the bed. We are glad we came up north for a little getaway!

After having had many disappointing experiences at various B&Bs, I was so happy to find a bed and breakfast experience that really lived up to its description. The owners of Log Spirit accommodated a large family gathering and prepared a delicious birthday dinner. The lodge is very clean and cozy and felt very welcoming. Our hosts were entertaining and eager to assist us. I would definitely recommend staying here.

My wife and I were wanting a night away to celebrate her birthday. The Log Spirit was just what we were looking for. quiet, clean and very private. for anyone in the North Idaho area looking for what Coeur d'Alene used to be like, spend a night with Robin and Lew. We will definitely be back. Thanks for the great night.

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with amazing hospitality, and it just got better from there. The view from our room (we stayed in Winter) was breathtaking. Although, I'm sure regardless of what room you choose, all the views are spectacular. The hosts were so accommodating. Since we were there visiting Scarywood, and were going to be out until 1am, they delayed breakfast an hour, so we could sleep in a bit. And on the topic of breakfast.... I have never eaten so well first thing in the morning! This was truly an amazing place and I can't wait until my next visit!

We love the outdoors, as our location on 20 acres surrounded by woods and mountains shows. When time permits (which isn't often enough), we both enjoy riding our motorcycles and seeing this great country. But mostly we enjoy sharing this great log lodge with our guests, many of whom have become friends. We hope you'll join them!

Fresh apple slices dipped in a cinnamon-seasoned batter, cooked on a griddle much like a pancake, and served with warm maple syrup. Simple, but simply delightful!
