Tranquillity Bed and Breakfast

I needed a place to stay close to my Mom and found this wonderful B&B because of their sign off Hwy 41. It is the first B&B I've stayed at and the hostess spoiled me rotten. She loves to entertain and cook. The rooms were very comfortable - warm and a great place to relax and read. I'd love to stay in the fall just to see the wonderful trees in color. This bed and breakfast was wonderful. The innkeeper was a lovely women who really wanted to make our stay great. She was a wonderful cook who wanted to make sure the kids had what ever they wanted to eat. The suite was spacious and extremely clean. I would recommend anyone to stay here. We will definitely stay again.

Driving up the long driveway up to the tranquility bed and breakfast set on twenty-two acres of pine trees it is hard to believe you are only a few miles from the nearest town. The hosts Don and Jo help to set the peaceful mood with their warm hospitality. They are well traveled having lived in Asia, the South Pacific and different locations in the USA this is reflected by the décor in the rooms. The bedroom we stayed in had a Hawaii theme. The wonderful breakfast and fascinating conversation with our hosts capped off a very pleasant overnight get away in this idyllic peaceful setting. This is a peaceful retreat in a 22 acre estate of impossibly tall and green pines. Our suite was large,clean, modern and comfortable. The hosts were travel veterans, warm and friendly. The breakfasts were varied, tasty and capped with great pastries. It was an excellent value for the area. We were exceedingly pleased.

Jo and Don are lovely hosts! We felt very much at home. Although I am not a big breakfast eater, the coffee was delicious and ready every morning with fresh fruit and muffins (or whatever else we wanted!). Jo baked homemade cupcakes for my brother and his family staying with my folks in Rathdrum. Their home is very quiet. We slept well. I would return again. Karen from North Carolina

My sister and I stayed for about a week. It was quiet and we had lots of privacy coming and going! Beautiful area - which was great for our morning walks! The house is charming with a friendly atmosphere. Would definitely stay again!

Jo and Don were both very welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic, and with our eating restrictions Jo jumped right in to learn a new recipe which met our needs. Beautiful home with great extra room and library. We look forward to returning! Cindy Olsen

Ours was a party of 8; 4 adults and 4 children. The place was very clean and spacious. We paid for a suite and one room, but Jo set us up with an extra room at no extra cost. The breakfast was freshly made, and it was very good. Jo even gave us some baked treats for the road! Our families would go back there anytime. I highly recommend Tranquillity.
