For a chance to get away from work & kids, this p,ace is awesome. Waking up each morning looking out onto Bear Lake is gorgeous... This has become my wife's favorite place to go each year for our anniversary get-away.

After a week of wildlife, trails and cabins, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the warmth and comforts of this home and its owners. We'll definitely stay again if we're out that way.

We stayed at The Bluebird Inn on our way to Yellowstone and simply loved our experience there, from the quaint room to the expertly landscaped grounds, scenic view, hospitality, and a great breakfast. We even made arrangements to stay at Bluebird again when we were disappointed by a dude ranch on our way back from the Park. It was like coming “home.” I highly recommend it for couples, young and old (we’re in our 60’s).

The Anniversary Room
The Anniversary Room is a very romantic room with a king bed located on the main floor. This is one of the inn's most popular rooms. It has an inside and private outside entrance with a fantastic view of Bear Lake, the fish pond, and the front yard landscape. You will have your own private bathtub and shower with double sinks, and an in-room fireplace.

The Hummingbird Room is upstairs and is perfect for guests needing two double beds. You will have your own private bathtub and shower with double sinks. There is a great view of Dick's garden. The rate is $150 plus tax for two guests. The rate for three guests is $160 plus tax, and for four guests the rate is $170 plus tax. Our check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and our check-out time is 11:00 a.m.

The Honeymoon Suite is a located just behind the main bed and breakfast, offering a private, romantic suite. The suite has a large bedroom with a king bed and private bathroom. There is also a large living room with a fantastic view of Dick's garden and the lake. This suite has built in fireplaces in the living room and the bed room. In the lower room, we offer a pull out bed for up to two extra guests. There is a small kitchen available for coffee, microwave and cold drinks only. The rate is $200 plus tax for two guests and $250 plus tax for up to four guests.

The apartment offers accommodations for groups ranging from 2 guests up to 10. This facility offers two bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed. There is also a queen pullout, two full futon mattresses, and a bunk day bed. There are two full bathrooms, and you are allowed full kitchen privileges to prepare your own meals. The Bluebird Inn also utilizes the meeting room to facilitate weddings, receptions, and retreats. The rate for 2 guests is $250, 4 guests is $350 plus tax. The rate for 5 to 10 guests is $450 plus tax.

We stayed in the honeymoon suite as it was the only room available and it was GREAT! So much room and so clean! The views were outstanding. The service was exceptional and the breakfast the next morning was terrific! Thank you Bluebird!!!

Simply put, the Bluebird Inn is the ultimate in a Bed & Breakfast stay. The beautiful Inn itself along with its exquisitely landscaped grounds including a running stream, ponds with lily pads and a fountain, and a beautiful green manicured lawn immediately attract one's attention. The ultimate attribute of the Inn though and the wonderfully warm welcome and service one receives from the hostess Cindy Motta on arrival which continues throughout your stay. To top your stay off, is the gourmet breakfast that's provided. Being located not too far from the Inn, it's always nice knowing we'll return again for another enjoyable stay.

Everything about our stay was perfect! The Bluebird Inn is very well done. Loved the history of the home. Our stay was beautiful, peaceful, relaxing, quiet and very romantic. Thank you to the Motta's for making it an 'outstanding' experience to stay with them. Our breakfast was especially delicious. Thank you so much. We look forward to seeing you again.

From Salt Lake City Airport: 1) Travel north on Interstate 15. 2) Take exit 364 (Brigham City) and travel toward Logan, Utah (Utah State University) 3) When you enter Logan you will be on Main Street. Continue north on Main Street until you reach 400 North. 4) Turn right (east) on 400 North (highway 89). 5) Travel through Logan Canyon and into Garden City, Utah. 6) Turn Left at the stop sign (highway 89) and head north. 7) You will cross the Utah-Idaho boarder and travel about ¼ of a mile. 8) The Bluebird Inn will be on your left (west). 9) The trip from Salt Lake City will take between 2 1/2 and 3 hours.
