Designed in the English Arts and Crafts style, it blends Victorian, Gothic, and Arts and Crafts elements. All common rooms contain massive oak fireplaces, exquisite woodwork, and beautiful antiques. The formality of the interior contrasts with the home's relaxed, friendly atmosphere and the warmth of your host, Carol Hirschi. The home's lower level contains a small theatre which is home to professional productions and acting classes. I invite guests to join me in the audience. The Stagecoach Inn was built in 1853 as a stagecoach stop on the way from Milwaukeee to Greenbay. The Inn was built from local limestone and housed a pub, floral shop, and rooms for travelers. Next door to the Inn was a stable and blacksmith. Restored in 1984 by Brook and Liz Brown, the Inn now houses a chocolate shop, a pub and 9 guest rooms. The rooms are decorated comfortably with antiques. The Weber Haus Annex is across the street and features 3 rooms with fireplaces and whirlpools, as well as a private garden area. Conveniently located in the Historic District within walking distance to shops, restaurants and galleries. A truly romantic getaway.
