Grand Opening 12-21-12. Rent one suite $195/Nt., two suites $275/Nt., or the entire lodge $345/Nt. Only minutes from the friendly artists community of Volcano Village and the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park main entrance near Kilauea summit. Volcano Rainforest Lodge is located in a secluded, private, 3-acre forest. Each room is designed to view the Ohia trees,lava outcroppings and the giant Hawaiian Hapu'u tree ferns. The Lodge has Mango flooring, baseboards, and door/window trim. Mango is also used in the bathroom cabinets and mirror frames. The doors are solid core knotty Alder. The ceilings are beautiful Canadian Pine with Red Western Cedar beams from Oregon. Counter tops in the Lodge are granite. Bathroom walls and floors are gauged Quartzite. This beautiful B&B/Lodge provides all the elements to make your vacation on the Big Island a memorable experience. It has been said that sometimes we need to take a step backward in order to go forward. The Lodge will afford you that opportunity. The Lodge is available for weddings and corporate events.

Volcano Suite
The Volcano Room has a private, keyed entry at the rear of the lodge. It's giant 4'x8' picture window views the forest and lava features. Adjacent is a large, private bathroom with a walk-in shower and a jetted, deep tub. The room has three closets. Included in the room: California-King bed, La-Z-Boy recliner/rocker, roll-away twin bed, dining table, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker.

The Forest Suite has a private, keyed entry at the front of the Lodge. It's lanai is surrounded by lava features and giant Hapu'u tree ferns. The bedroom includes a California-King Bed, Dining table with two chairs, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker. The forest bathroom includes a tub/shower enclosed with quartzite tile. The mirror and medicine cabinet are built with Mango. The counter is granite with oil rubbed bronze hardware. The doors are solid core knotty Alder. A portable twin bed is available for an extra guest.

When leaving the Hilo airport, turn left on KANOELEHUA Avenue (Highway 11; Hawaii Belt Road). Go about 22 miles and look for mile marker 23. Turn on your left turn signal early and go left on ALI'I KANE Drive about 0.7 miles to HUAKAI Street (paved road changes here from two lanes to one lane) and make a right turn up the hill. Go slow on this road for about 1/4 mile to 11-3203.
