Your hosts, Anne Stockel and daughter, Nanette, offer four beautiful vacation studios. Each features a separate entrance, private, full bath, free wireless high speed internet and cable TV. Three studios have kitchenettes with refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, electric skillet, rice cooker, hot water pot, and dishes. The fourth studio, the Orchid Suite, has a full kitchen with modern appliances.

All studios have comfortable queen size beds, and sleeper sofas for extra guests. Glass sliders open onto spacious, covered lanais. The Plumeria and Pineapple Suites also have a separate sitting area and walk-in closets. A washing machine, dryer, detergent and ironing board are available free of charge.

A welcome basket with fresh tropical fruit, baked goods and juice awaits our guests upon arrival. Coffee, tea and cocoa are always provided.

We have lived in Kona for over 20 years and have explored this beautiful island extensively. We greet our guests in person and are available throughout their stay to help plan their outings. We supply beach chairs, towels, coolers, and boogie boards free of charge. There is convenient on-site parking. We especially enjoy our European visitors, as we both speak German.

Rates for the studios are $75-105/nt single and $85-115/nt double. Additional guests are $10/night extra. We also rent the entire ocean view home. It has four separate, lockable studios each with full bath. There are 4 queen beds and 8 sleeper sofas. Sleeps 16. $295/night. Directions from airport:
We are a 10 minute drive from Kona International Airport. Exit the Airport to Highway 19 (Queen Kaahumanu Highway) and turn right towards Kailua. The first traffic light you come to (in about a half a mile) is Kaiminani Dr. Turn left and go 3.7 miles all the way uphill to the end and turn left on Highway 190 (also known as Mamalahoa Highway) In about 1.4 miles, take the first left after the 32-mile marker (just past Makalei Drive). This is Puukala Road. Go downhill and bear right at fork (do not turn right on side road). We are the third driveway on the right after the fork- number 72-1071.

(2 studios are master suites with separate sitting areas) Three studios have kitchenettes and the fourth has a fully equipped kitchen. The home is 2,600 square feet, has wraparound lanais on both floors, and an ocean view of the Kona coastline. It has 4 queen beds and 8 sleeper sofas. $295/night. Sleeps 16. Three night minimum. No cleaning fees.

Cancellations:
Guests can receive a refund, less a $25 processing fee, if they cancel their reservation in writing at least six weeks prior to scheduled arrival. Otherwise, the deposit may still be refunded if the room is re-rented. Guests who find it necessary to arrive late or depart early are still responsible for the full amount of their reservation, unless we can rebook the room.
