This area is the most prized location on the Big Island. Located on an 8 acre estate just across from Hawaii Tropical Botanical Gardens. See, feel and smell the varity of tropical fruit trees, plants and flowers growing on our property, it is true paradise. We offer free eco-tours of our property to all interested guests. "The Most Comfortable" stay on the Island. We offer "Sleep Number" "Select Comfort" adjustable King Size Beds for the best night sleep. Our newly constructed home was built for lodging. Our two rooms have private entry and private full baths. We want your stay to be private, so we serve breakfast to your room or private lanai. We stayed here for three nights and it was fabulous!!! We found this B&B after a recommendation from another B&B owner on the island. It did not disappoint.. Garvin & Laura were exceptionally hospitable and the breakfasts were both plentiful and delicious. The property is beautiful and tranquil. Located about 7 miles north of Hilo, it was easy to get to and nicely located to see the botanical gardens or take a day trip to the volcanoes. The property is large and has great hammocks and a hot tub to relax in. We would definitely return and recommend it to friends!!

The highlight if our trip!!! Beautiful rooms in a wonderful setting, warm and gracious hospitality, fabulous fruit from the property included in breakfast. Wonderful relaxed atmosphere, very reasonably priced. Definitely above and beyond what we were expecting. Lovely experience.

The room with a view of Hilo Bay. This is the perfect room for two. Honeymooners to businesses persons, this room is big. There is a 4 poster King size teak bed with adjustable “Sleep Number” mattress, 32” color TV/satellite, DVD, WIFI, table with two chairs, high back sitting chair and love seat couch, coffee table, night stands and dresser. There is a small refrigerator/freezer, coffee/tea maker with assortments of teas and coffee, toaster, silverware, plates, cups and wine glasses. Cancellations: Room rates are figured with double occupancy; additional $25.00 per person each room. Add $25.00 for one night stay. We accept Visa or Master Card. The deposit must be paid to reserve your stay. All rooms are subject to Hawaii’s 13.4166% tax, which includes transient accommodation tax (TAT) - 9.25% and general excise tax (GET) – 4.166%. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations up to 20 days before arrival - your deposit will be returned less 10% of the entire reservation ($40.00 minimum). Any cancellations less than 20 days before arrival – your deposit will be forfeited. Any cancellations within 7 days from arrival, departing early, arriving late, or not showing up will be charged for the complete reservation. Reservations may be rescheduled prior to this 20 day period. If you are concerned about the possibility of cancelling your reservation, we recommend you purchase travel insurance through a third party for your own financial protection. Merrie Monarch Festival… There is a five night minimum stay required during the Merrie Monarch Festival period and special rates apply. For cancellations of reservations during the Merrie Monarch Festival up to 60 days before arrival – your deposit will be returned less 20% of the entire reservation ($80.00 minimum). Any cancellations less than 60 days before arrival – your deposit will be forfeited. Any cancellations within 30 days from arrival, departing early, arriving late, or not showing up will be charged for the complete reservation. Reservations may be rescheduled or cancelled before this 61 day period.
