On our recent trip to the Big Island, we stayed 2 nights at the Volcano Fern Forest Retreat and were very pleased! The rooms were clean and had everything you were going to need for your visit! From snorkeling equipment to chairs and binoculars to see the volcano it was all there! Leonard even helped us put together a fire in the grill to cook out! This secluded place was just what we needed to get away from it all! Thanks to Leonard and his Mom we had a great stay!

The furnishings and decor were lovely, and everything is clean and new. Lenny has thought of everything including binoculars, menus from nearby restaurants, umbrellas, ponchos, and much more. Convenient location for touring Volcano Nat'l Park and the restaurants of Volcano Village. Can really enjoy the peace and quiet surrounded by the lush and well-tended gardens in this secluded B&B.

This is a wonderfully secluded retreat just minutes from Volcano National Park. My husband and I have never slept so peacefully, nor have we ever seen such darkness of night as we did during our stay here. It was wonderful and our host, Leonard, was incredibly gracious!
