When coming to Macadamia Meadows you are greeted by Inn keepers Charlene and Cortney, who are very nice and helpful. The house sets on 8 acres that is just breathtaking in the morning as the sun comes up. This bed and breakfest is in a small town, so if you like out of the way places this is the place for you. It is not far from a beautiful black sand beach. The rooms were nice and have a small refrigerater and micorwave in them and there is a small store not far away. In the morning you are given a nice breakfast that fills you up and charlene and Cortney are there to tell stories. And guide you to different things that go on around that area. I really enjoyed my stay and will come back again. Wonderful place to stay and at a good price.

We stayed in the family suite. Lots of room. The kitchen is not equiped for much cooking at all though (there was no microwave). We had hoped to do a bit of cooking in the room to save money but even if we had a microwave, there wasnt much of anything else. The usual items like coffee tea and sugar that were supplied at other places wasnt here. If you have any mobility issues you might find getting to the rooms a bit difficult. My mom has trouble walking and so the hill we had to go up and down was a problem for her. We loved the roosters and their crowing. Some people will not. There are no great evening dining options nearby which was unfortunate. I would consider the breakfast description of "sumptuous" as a bit of an exaggeration when compared to what we had at other places. It was adequate. But this is a very reasonable priced place and it is very quiet and relaxing.
