    Airport

    • Honolulu, Oahu, HI (HNL) 20 miles

    • Directions to property:
Leave the airport on H-1 West, towards Waianae (left lane). Continue on H-1 about 2 miles to the exit labeled “H-3 Kaneohe (exit 13B).” This will take you to the tunnel through the mountains. After the tunnel, take the third exit, labeled “65 Kailua (exit 14),” onto Mokapu Boulevard. On Mokapu Blvd. you will pass through 3 traffic lights. At the third light (Mokapu Blvd. and Kaneohe Bay Drive/Kalaheo Ave.), continue straight through the intersection on Mokapu. Go less than half a mile, then veer off at the first right on to Old Mokapu Road, and keep straight to the end. We're on the right-hand side at the end of the street with 656 on the mailbox, and the name Morrison next to the front door. Once you actually leave the airport, the drive should take about 25-30 minutes.

What a great place to stay on the Island of Oahu! Susan is a great hostess who gave us a tip about the sea turtle beach on the North Shore which ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. We enjoyed this relaxing bed and breakfast so close to some of the most beautiful beaches in all of Hawaii. If you are looking for an alternative to overcrowded and touristy Waikiki, this is where you want to be. Traveling any one of the three highways from Honolulu and seeing beautiful Kailua as you emerge from the tunnels is a sight you will never tire of seeing, then pulling into the driveway of Susan's home will make you feel like a local.....be sure to take in the views from the upper lanai.....all in all a treat!

    Very private and peacefull place

i enjoyed how relaxing it was staying there, being able to use the spa and pool a lot fun. Miss Susan is a very nice lady and she gives the people that stay there lots of privacy. I definately will be staying there again.

I wish there were more reviews on this place. It is absolutely beautiful! It is quiet, peaceful, and we could not have asked for more. It is all we could have wished for. My husband and I stayed here in Sept. 2010 for 3 days. We only wish it could have been longer. Grounds are well groomed and beautiful. The place is clean and neat. The bed is comfortable. Only one guest, or guest group allowed at a time so very nice that way. Beautiful patio with upper and lower deck. Nice pool area (cannot accommodate young children because it is deep). Lovely living room. Beautiful atrium in bathroom. As much or as little interaction with the hostess as you wish. She is a very sensitive and kind person. Breakfast is served, but due to ordinances, only packaged foods can be prepared. No cooked meals. Our breakfasts consisted of yogurt, fresh fruit, toast, or similar item, granola, hot drinks, packaged waffles heated in the toaster, etc. A 3-5 minute drive to beautiful beaches, or a 10 minute walk. We were very satisfied and recommend this beautiful location to anyone. A real paradise!

This is a place I have returned to many times and I always look forward to my next visit. It is a quiet secluded spot, but close to beautiful Kailua beach and a cove where the turtles swim. In addition to the private deck and lookout, I love the secret atrium in the bathroom which houses lush green plants. The bed is like sleeping on a cloud. The hostess is warm, gracious, and knowledgeable about Hawaii.
