We enjoyed our stay at the Waipio Wayide B&B very much. We stayed for 2 nights in the Moon Room. You will like the host, Jacqueline, from the very beginning. She is very friendly, knows a lot about activities on the island and cooks an outstanding organic breakfast. The house is ideal for guests who would like to relax but is also suitable as "base camp" for activities around Mauna Kea / Waipio Valley

    A real Martha Stewart experience!

This is a beautiful property inside and out. Very tastefully decorated with fine antiques and family treasures. Jackie is a dignified, knowledgeable and attentive host and a gourmet cook as well. Our room was comfortable and spa- like touches such as thick terry robes and organic bath amenities are a definite plus. We had a great stay and would recommend this romantic property to couples looking for a sophisticated getaway.

My wife and I stayed here late December 2009. The house, furnishings, food, and hospitality were of the highest quality. The preceding comment is echoed many times over on TripAdvisor.Com, so there is nothing original in my praise. What I would like to add is that the Waipio Wayside B&B is perfectly situated for a drive -- or better, a hike -- into the Waipi'o Valley, with its extraordinary overlooks and spectacular waterfalls. It's just down the road from this B&B, and if you're visiting Big Island, it's an experience not to be missed.

Beautiful B& B with lots of characters

We stayed at 3 B&Bs for our 1-week vacatin on the Big Island and this was the most beautiful one. We stayed in the Plantation Room. The room was spacious and clean, even the bathroom was big. Jacqueline supplied her guests with organic bath and hand soap that smelled so good. Breakfast was tasty. Jacqueline was very knowledge and gave us good tips on travelling and shopping. We enjoyed our stay very much.
