Waterfalls Inn offers four large luxurious guest rooms with private baths. The plantation-style 6,000 sq. ft. home has been totally renovated and is listed on the National and State Historical Register. We are located only 1/2 mile from downtown Hilo on historic Reeds Island. Enjoy the tropical ambiance of the rain forest and nature sounds. Ten minutes from Hilo Airport. Drive along the Hilo Bay to Wainuenue, turn left and go to the third light (Kaiulani), turn right to 240 Kaiulani Street. Walk to Hilo Bay, Historic Downtown Hilo, the Farmers Market, and Rainbow Falls. Drive five miles to great snorkeling/surfing beaches or drive 1 1/2 hours to fabulous Hapuna Beach. Drive 30 miles to the volcano and walk up to streaming lava or hike the many nature trails. Drive to the vistor's center on Mauna Kea and peer at the stars. - Deposit amount required (A credit card is required to make a reservation. We will charge your credit card for a one night's stay if you cancel within 14 days of your stay.)
