      Rather than explaining in detail how to get here, we have found that most people do quite well by grabbing a map at the airport in baggage claim. Hawaiian roads can be poorly marked…but we are an island, and it is difficult to be lost for too long!!! We are located 33 miles from the Honolulu International Airport. Take the H-1 West to the H-2 North. Follow 99 North to 83(Kamehameha Hwy). We are just under two miles after world famous Waimea Bay. Soon after you come around Waimea Bay, you will see Foodland grocery store on the right & the ocean will be on your left. From Foodland, it is nine-tenths of a mile to Ke Waena Road, on the left side of Kamehameha Highway (the road you have been on since Haleiwa Town).

    We have stayed at Santa's each year when we visit Oahu and can never get enough. Santa's is actually a cozy "apartment" located right on the ocean. The 1 bedroom unit has a full kitchen with a fully stocked refrigerator full of fresh foods and fruits. There are two televisions, a stereo and free internet service with a computer already provided for guests to use. A washer and dryer are also avaiable if you want to throw some laundry in while lounging on the beach. Although there is a full shower located in Santa's, there is also an outdoor shower with a rock wall and curtains for privacy. Where else can you take a shower while looking at whales and dolphins in the ocean? Just beautiful! There is a gazebo out back where you can sit, relax and enjoy the ocean views. We seem to spend a lot of time in the gazebo when visiting. It's hard to resist. The hosts, Cyndie and Gary, are always so gracious and accomodating. They are truly what makes this place so special. We always look forward to seeing them each year. At the end of the day, there is nothing more soothing than falling asleep while listening to the ocean waves along the shore. If you're looking to get out of Waikiki and explore the North Shore of Oahu, be sure to book a stay at Santa's by the Sea.

    THis was our 3rd time to the island of Oahu and we never enjoyed it more! The North SHore was peaceful and quiet, and Santa's B&B was perfect in every way. The hosts were just as nice as gcould be and very helpful with places to go and things to do. THe bed was the most comfortable ever! Very clean B&B with a generous supply of eggs, yogurt, milk, muffins, flowers and fruit to great us...B&B make your own! WE highly recommend this little hide-away slice of paradise. :):)
