Your hosts, Isobel and Peter Wiren, invite you to join them in their lovely country home 'Beaumere Lodge' set in a peaceful rural village 'Highbrook', but a short drive from the city with its many restaurants, fabulous shops, theatres, acclaimed international gardens and river cruises. Take a stroll through our romantic gardens, sip a glass of wine in our gazebo by the pond and marvel at the sunset over the hills and countryside. There are safe walking areas and you may be lucky to hear the calls of the tuis in the many trees and watch the farm animals frisking about. Join us for pre-dinner drinks, relax in our spa, or you might prefer to watch the sunset while enjoying a tranquil moment in the gazebo by the pond. Golf? The International Country Club and our local course are but a short drive. The Hamilton Zoo and famous free-flight aviary are also in the vicinity. Spend a relaxing day exploring Bridal Veil Falls and Raglan Seaside Resort (25 minutes away). We are en route Auckland-Waitomo-Taupo and travellers will enjoy the easy drive free from major traffic. We take one-party bookings at a time so you are assured of privacy and peace and quiet. ABOUT YOUR HOSTS We are 'semi-retirees' with a well-behaved cat 'Felix'. We have had the pleasure of hosting for many years. We are keen golfers, gardeners, enjoy travel, Isobel sings in a choir and Peter plays both indoor and outdoor bowls. Peter has lived in Japan and Korea so we are always delighted to help with language and travel plans. As members of 'At Home New Zealand' we enjoy sharing our home with guests and are committed to quality service and hospitality.

This unique haven is nestled in two and a half acres of beautiful subtropical gardens & lush native bush meandering down to the water in Moonlight Bay on the shores of Raglan's tranquil harbour, enjoying stunning sea views, sunrises, sunsets, and moonlit water.

Three course evening meals are available with your hosts, with great locally grown vegetables. Pre-dinner drinks and dinner wines are all included at a cost of $55 per person. Complimentary laundry facilities are available. A seperate guest lounge is available or visitors are welcome to join their hosts in the evening.
