Four of us ( a couple, sister and mother) shared two rooms for a week here. Both rooms were beautiful and perfectly equipped, although our room (Mata Ortiz) was especially nice because of the second floor location which allowed in a breeze , and for its luxurious walk in shower. You cannot go wrong with any of them though. The b&b is accessed down a narrow light filled alley which is well known to taxi drivers because of its size (they park at the end). It seems curious at first but once you begin to explore the up and down of cobblestone streets in SMA, we looked forward to our return to our little oasis. The owners Antonieta and Francisco could not be more welcoming upon our arrival and each morning while they served a delicious breakfast. In the afternoons you are on your own with an honor bar of beer, wine, snacks and Popsicles. The b&b has many nooks to relax in and you may well be tempted to linger for hours. It's about a 20 minute walk downhill to the main square, passing artisans' alley on the way. You cannot go wrong choosing to stay here and it provided such a lovely background for our trip.

The photos of the individual rooms do not do justice to outstanding thought and care of their design. I would recommend this B&B to whomever wants to truly enjoy the whole San Miguel De Allende experience.

We really got lucky in finding this gem. The rooms were immaculate, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious, made to order and healthy. Francisco and Antonieta were gracious, helpful and fluent in Spanish and English (and possibly other languages?).

My family and I were thrilled with this Bed and Breakfast. The rooms and courtyards are even prettier than the photos show. They were immaculately clean. The breakfasts were fresh, delicious and they were willing to adapt to suit our needs (no bread, etc.). The only thing that may be important to know is that you must be able to walk a little to get there because the entrance is down an alley but it's worth it!!!

This B&B is truly a gem. Its within walking distance from town and has fine views from the terraces. The quality of the rooms is exceptional and they are all unique. The proprietors, Antonieta and Francisco are friendly and well organized and provided helpful guidance regarding local trips and restaurant recommendations. Ute and Brendan.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here. Antonieta and Francisco are lovely hosts and very informative about places to visit and local restaurants. Walking up and down the hill into the town center was rough the first day but we got use to maneuvering the uneven cobble stone streets by the third day.

We visited here two years ago and would not think of staying anywhere else in this lovely town. It is such a treat at the end of a busy day to climb up the street and relax in the gorgeous courtyard garden or take in the setting sun from the roof tops. This really is a spectacular place. Breakfast is delicious and served so beautifully- it is just the best! You will not be disappointed!
