"Initial Taste of Southern Hospitality"

"My wife and I stayed overnight at the Morris Harvey House on Wednesday, March 30th. It was our first stop on a ten-day southern trip. We had the house to ourselves that night. This was good because we had plenty of time to chat with Bernie. But it was bad because there was no one else with whom to talk. That is the only downside to our stay. Bernie is a fine host and a fine cook. Breakfast was excellent and was more than sufficient to fuel us for the next leg of our trip - a drive from fayette to Aiken SC. Bernie told us about Tamarack. We stopped there and can honestly say it is a place not to be missed. Also, even though the weather was cold and wet, we visited the New River Gorge Park. This too is not to be missed. All in all, we gave Bernie the highest marks! Hugh & Marsha Guillaume, Amherst NY"
