Barbara Studios is housed in an 800-year-old Venetian mansion in the heart of the Old Town of Rethymno. It features self-catering rooms with free Wi-Fi and it is just 50 metres away from the port. Barbara studios and apartments are traditionally furnished and have a kitchenette with fridge. Facilities include air conditioning, a TV and a private bathroom. Some units also have a balcony overlooking the complex’s courtyard, or partial sea view. Guests can relax in our studios, make their own meal, accompanied with raki, orange juice, bearing in mind that everything that they need to visit is less than 5 minutes away. Within 300 metres, guests can reach the sandy beach of Rethymno, as well as the bus station. At 50 metres, there is a super market. The archaeological museum of Rethymno is a 5-minute walk away.

A very nice place in the center of Rethymno. The hosts are a wonderful young couple and their dog, all three very helpful and friendly. The rooms are nice and spacious and the house has two beautiful courtyards and a roof terrace with a view of the town.

We had a very pleasant stay. The studio is situated in the beautiful old town. The studio has a very nice, warm, friendly looks. The owner and his wife do everything to please their guests. There was a little surprise every day. The daily cleaning was superb. In short: marvellous!

Barbara studios are very comfortable and homely. The words on the doormat on entry to the studios sums it up perfectly "HOME - Love is Spoken Here". Barbara (the owner) makes this place one of the nicest and best I have ever stayed in. She has a warm and friendly nature and is instantaneously likeable. She leaves cakes, biscuits, bread, jam and orange juice in your room which somehow makes it feel extra special place to stay.
