Room itself was lovely, bright and airy, and innkeepers very friendly. On arriving, the home itself seemed dark, partly due to the age of property I think, but as I ascended the stairs, and saw the rooms, I was pleasantly surprised. Extremely good value for money, breakfast was good too. Only disappointment to me was no tea or coffee making facilities in room. One final note, owners do have cat (to which I am allergic!) but the animal doesn't seem to go into guest rooms. Also, not recommended to anyone with mobility problems. It's quite a way up the stairs (but so worth it for the view you get from that window! Think Mary Poppins and rooftops!)
