"Cozy bed & breakfast"

"For a mini honeymoon, my wife and I wanted to stay at a bed & breakfast and visit San Diego. After doing some research, we decided to stay at the Inn at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas for its proximity to San Diego and the cost compared to other B&Bs. We were very glad we did. We stayed in the "Beach Suite" and later moved up to the penthouse - both rooms were clean and spacious. Ann and staff are hospitable. Breakfast was nice, particularly the baked goods and Starbucks coffee. Plenty of beach towels and body boards were available to borrow the beach. Additionally, everything we needed was within a short walk - the beach, restaurants, Whole Foods, and a train station. Some might think a train station nearby would be a bad thing, but my wife and I didn't mind it much at all. Neither one of us like to drive, so it was perfect for us when we wanted to head down to San Diego. Of course train noises are there, and they are noticeable periodically throughout the day. However, at night, we slept right through it all, but I wouldn't consider myself a deep sleeper. That's something to consider before you book, but honestly, my wife and I weren't bothered by the trains at all. Overall, we had a pleasant visit and we would love to come back for another stay."
