    Enjoy a friendly family welcome to our home in Hoechenschwand,in the Black Forest, South Germany. Our village, known as "the village in heaven" has everything you could need for your break but at the same time is peaceful and surrounded by astounding countryside. Walking trails are everywhere, skiing is very popular in the winter and the view of the Swiss Alps is amazing.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our stays at The English Garden in June. They provided a great family atmosphere and were extremely helpful during our quest to locate living ancestors in Germany. Their willingness to help enabled us to find and communicate with family members. Actually the Nolan family went over the top in providing a great home away from home and became truly great friends. We can't say enough good things about The English Garden Bed and Breakfast. The Schwehrs
