    Historic Banning Mills is situated in the Snake Creek Gorge just 45-minutes West of Atlanta. We are also home to one of the largest, continuous zipline canopy tours in the world! Enjoy a bird's eye view of this beautiful and historic property! We have 47 country style rooms, all with private baths and most overlooking the creek and gorge area. Room rates include a breakfast each morning of stay. Located in the middle of 700 beautifuly wooded acres, our guests feel like they are in a serene and natural wonderland. Welcome to our Screaming Eagle zipline Canopy tour with heights of up to 300 ft and awesome zip lines and cable/wood bridges! We offer horseback riding (minimum of 2), kayaking and aerial challenge treks. Our High/Low Ropes Team Building COURSES are PERFECT FOR building a productive group!     Went with Granddaughters for "Birds of Prey". Excellent show and and a fun experience. Stayed before and will stay again. Excellent place to escape. Beautiful hidden location

    The inn was very clean. The check in was easy and served with kindness. The inn had many great features from its full size pull table, comfortable lounge area to the spiral stair case to the top of the heavens. The rooms was equipped with a refrigerator, queensize bed, sofa bed, extra pillows, sheets, and blankets. They offered wireless internet and a computer desk for your laptop. The private bath had fresh, fluffy towels. The balcony offered a sight of beauty and a sound of calm. The creek sounds added a great addition to the peaceful bedtime. Room was cleaned daily. It was not equipped with a microwave and the cable was provided but not the best. I suggest bringing in some movies or checking out movies from the front desk. Carollton is the main city about 10 miles away. There were new shopping areas. They included Target, TJ Maxx, Walmart, Ruby Tuesday, O'Charley's, Pizza Hut, Diary Queen, Taco Bell, Kroger Grocery, Publix, Bath and Body Works, Hibbett Sports, and Applebee's restaurant. Pack some games and good trail walking shoes. You can get a great workout from the basketball court to the trail walk.
