Historic Banning Mills is situated in the Snake Creek Gorge just 45-minutes West of Atlanta. We are also home to one of the longest and highest canopy tours in the world! Called Tree Flight, come enjoy a bird's eye view of this beautiful and historic property! We have 47 country elegant rooms, all with private baths and most overlooking the creek and gorge area. Room rates include a breakfast each morning of stay. Located in the middle of 700 beautifuly wooded acres, our guests feel like they are in a serene and natural wonderland. We offer a wide variety of recreational activities to include wooded hiking trails with historic ruins to explore, Olympic size pool, tennis and basketball court, 18-hole miniature golf course, (54-holes of Championship golf nearby), softball diamond, sand- volleyball / horseshoes and catch and release fishing lake. Our Day Spa is a perfect ending to a day of activities! Banning Mills is a state of the art conference facility with 8000 sq.ft. of dedicated meeting space. We specialize in executive retreats and day-meetings. The COVERED PAVILION with huge fire pit is perfect for your next company picnic. It will accomodate up to 300 people. ADVENTURE PROGRAMS!!! Welcome to our Tree Flight Canopy tour with heights of up to 200 ft and awesome zip lines and cable/wood bridges! We offer horseback riding (minimum of 2), kayaking and skeet shoots(minimum of 6). Our High/Low Ropes Team Building COURSES are PERFECT FOR building a productive group! Just right for BUSINESS, CHURCH AND YOUTH GROUPS. Take I-85 to Newnan/Shennandoah exit (exit 47). Go right. Turn right onto 34 bypass. Then turn right onto Hwy 16/Alt 27. Go about 10 miles and you will come to a traffic circle, go straight thru and go through the town of Whitesburg. Turn right onto Antioch Rd. Straight through stop sign onto Banning Rd. We are a mile on the right.
