Tybee Island Inn Bed and Breakfast

My husband and I loved our stay at the Tybee Island Inn B&B. The innkeeper was an excellent hostess and cook, preparing delicious cookies and breakfasts each day. The location was nice and quiet. The B&B was close by everything but tucked away far enough that you weren't on the most crowded part of the beach. They provided lots of little relaxing spots to sit around the B&B as well as bikes, beach chairs, towels and sunscreen to use. We were definitely spoiled during our stay and would love to go back again.

We had a wonderful time. Will recommend Tybee Island Inn to our friends. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Charming Tybee Island Inn is a peaceful retreat a short walk to the beach or lighthouse. Friendly hosts, wonderful breakfasts, afternoon cookies/tea, spotlessly clean rooms, and restful porches make this a perfect B & B, under spreading oaks with dangling Spanish moss. Beach towels, lotion, and sunhats provided for you to enjoy hasslefree beach visits.

The rooms are very unique and nicely decorated. The Live Oak makes the house a special place. The balcony from the Light House room set in the canopy of the tree and was very beautiful and peaceful. Kathy the Inn Keeper was very sweet and helpful with suggestions on where to eat and play. She is an amazing cook and we looked forward to a hot and delicious breakfast every morning. The people who stayed at the Inn makes it a special experience too. We exchanged phone numbers after breakfast and really enjoyed each others company.

Kathy and Jackie went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay at Tybee Island.They were very helpful and fun. The breakfasts they made were unbelievable!

Great service, beautiful garden, great location, super breakfast (thanks, Kathy!). Only downer for us was the Sea Cabin room we were in, which was pretty marginal. But really, no biggie, we weren't there to hang out in the room anyway. Fascinating to walk down officer's row nearby.

The Tybee Island Inn is southern hospitality at its best...from the beautiful courtyard out front to the warmth and kindness inside.The rooms are beautiful and comfortable.We had the pleasure of staying in the Lighthouse room that has its own balcony hidden amongst the magnificent hanging moss lined branches of the beautiful old oak trees that add romance to such a beautiful place.

We stopped by Tybee Island on the way back home from northern Georgia to Ft. Lauderdale. It was a lovely stay....Kathy was very accomidating and friendly....house was homey and relaxing..breakfast was yummy! Very enjoyable placed to stay...other guests were very friendly and the atmosphere was perfect, would love to stay longer next time!

We stayed in the Pelican Cottage and it was much bigger than I expected with a large screened in patio and floating dock which was great for coffee in the mornings or drinks in the evening. The space was clean and neat. Everything worked properly and the staff was very accommodating. I will definitely stay here again!

We loved Tybee Island Inn B&B!! The place is extremely nice and clean and the innkeepers are fabulous. They provide such a welcoming atmosphere and there is a refrigerator for the guests to use and place any of their own food and snacks in. Speaking of snacks, Kathy kept a delicious assortment of snacks out the whole time and we had to pass these tempting snacks every time that we came in or out of our room. Needless to say between us and the other guests they never went to waste. Kathy also makes an incredible breakfast that you will love. The outside area of the B&B is also gorgeous as you will see from the pictures. That old tree that hangs over the entire front yard with the spanish moss growing from it is incredible. We really enjoyed the front porch and swing, as well as the gazebo. One more great thing about this B&B is it's location. You literally only have to walk a couple hundred yards to the beach which made it great to wake up and walk down to the beach every morning to catch the sunrise. You will love this place!

Stay here rather than in downtown Savannah (though we were there off season - might not be so charming when crammed full of beach-goers). Friendly, funky and fun. They need a better breakfast chef, but food was certainly ok. Go to North Beach Grill (near the lighthouse) for an excellent informal dinner.

My husband and I stayed in the Dolphin room. The room was beautiful and had a lot more room than we first thought. Cathy, in the innkeeper, was always there with a smile and a warm greeting. We look forward to returning to Tybee Island Inn again. Thanks for everything!

We absolutely loved staying here! The "Captains Quarters" were so unique and interesting that we found something to talk about every day. The decor will captivate you and have you asking questions to the innkeeper. I don't want to take away from your stay, so it's my secret. Just make sure you really look at everything from the doors, to the things hanging on the walls, everything has its own story. We trully enjoyed time with the innkeeper and her breakfasts were outstanding, with plenty to go around! We can't wait to come back and stay for awhile longer. My only complaint was, we weren't here longer.

Innkeeper on phone at first denied being part of 2nd night free program, but after I read the entry in the B&B Book, he said he would honor it (and did, with no further problem). I chose the best available room (I thought) but was chagrined to realize the bathroom was reachable only by climbing a treacherous tightly winding metal staircase....the room itself was in the basement.. This should have been made clear before I arrived. All else was nicely done, but this property is not up to the usual standards found in the Historical Inns B&B Book, especially as we paid over $200 .

Cathy made us comfortable from the start. Her breakfasts were tasty and appealing to the eye. A very pleasant place inside and out.

We enjoyed our stay at the Tybee Island Inn with a Groupon. Although it was very pleasant and comfortable, it lacked the luxury expected at the full price. We would definitely return with another Groupon. The public areas were nice, and we especially enjoyed access to the small kitchen which contained homemade cookies, coffee, ice cream, etc. Breakfast was delicious. The Innkeeper went out of her way to make sure that we had anything we needed or wanted. We felt like we were visiting old friends. One of the best things about our stay was how quiet and relaxing it was. We stayed in the Sea Cabin room for 2 nights. The unusual room was very narrow and long. Pictures on the website are accurate. Our room was quite warm, but we were able to open the windows and sleep with a wonderful breeze. There is a large tub, but the shower is quite small. At first we were concerned about noise since the room opens directly from the guest kitchen, but this was never a problem. Tybee beach is only a few minutes away, and it is an easy walk down to the lighthouse and a beachfront "cafe". There are beautiful homes in the area making for very pleasant walks. We also spent a lot of time just sitting on the porch or at the tables in the front garden under the huge Oak tree. This was a gorgeous setting.

We stayed in the Flamingo Room. It was much smaller than pictured. We knew there was a spiral staircase up to the bathroom but the shower is right at the foot of the landing and the separate toilet/sink area up there is in an area the size of a tiny closet and situated so that it was virtually impossible to stand in front of the sink. The fireplace was a nice idea but there was only a small chair next to it, so only one person could sit by it so we didn't use it. A small loveseat would be a much better idea. There was no where else to sit in the room and the only way to talk, watch TV or play cards or a board game was to lie on the bed. The TV was tiny and "vintage". Everything in the room was tiny. We joked it was a room for hobbits. The private, separate entrance/patio area was nice - a little dark and damp feeling. The B&B common areas inside are nice and the gardens are really lovely. We saw a couple of the other rooms which were much, much, nicer than ours. All in all, I think this particular room is overpriced and not a good value. Breakfast was ok - not exceptional. Kitchen adequately stocked - coffee, tea, cookies, ice cream, etc., wineglasses. The manager is very nice. Loved Tybee Island.

We were there Feb 13-15. The weather was chilly and gloomy, our experience was warm and cheery. Our room was just what we wanted. Kathy made us feel like we were long time friends, going out of her way to make sure we had everything we need and more. We wanted to stay a few days more unfortuneately they were no room availbe for an extended stay .We are looking forward to our next visit. Thanks again Sandy and Ron

This was a fabulous bed and breakfast. Spacious room, comfortable bed, everything was spotless. The breakfasts, made by Kathy were delicious - I can still taste that blueberry french toast!!!! This was a gift from our children for two nights, we will definitely be going back and for more than two nights!!! Kathy's warm and bubbly personality added to the appeal of this inn. The weather was beautiful, and we biked around the island. Bike rentals were delivered right to the front door!! Thank you again for making our trip wonderful. Judy and Gene Caputo

We could have not gotten better rooms or service here. Everything was beautiful & we would sure come again. This bed & breakfast sure gets the thumbs up as well as A+++ from my daughter & I! The 5 minute walk to the beach was awesome, we got to see everything going on around Tybee Island plus it was all so close. I think our favorite experience was simply sitting on the porch & gazebo under those majestic live oaks! Beautiful place to simply relax! Thanks Kathy & Jackie for your making us feel at home. Only negative thing I can say is I wish we had a longer time to stay!

Everything from the charming grounds to the wonderful rooms to the great care Kathy and Jackie took of all their guests was above reproach. We will definitely be making a return trips to Tybee Island and the Inn will always be our first choice.

We spent the weekend at the Tybee Island Inn. The front garden is beautiful. The Flamingo room we stayed in has it's own entrance, we liked this. Would recommend it to anyone.

This B&B is idyllic! Just a block from the beach in a most lovely setting. Kathy gives a warm welcome, sharing information of nearby restaurants and nice to know insider details. The rooms are well appointed. Despite being a 'house' there was no disturbance of noise from other rooms. As beautiful and inviting as the front yard is, it's almost difficult to leave for the beach or tours of the lighthouse and Ft. Pulaski. The breakfasts were delicious showing thought and care. One of the first things asked was if there were food preferences or allergies which indicates concern and a willingness to accommodate special circumstance.

The Inn is just a perfect getaway. Plenty of places to read a book. The massive oak with the moss hanging down is just gorgeous and really adds to the charm of the inn. The service is was great and breakfasts were very good. Coming in after a days outing to fresh baked goodies, added to the charm.

Only issue was upstairs bathroom in the Captains Quarters room

We had a Groupon for our stay at Tybee B&B so it was a good value. Probably wouldn't have paid the full fare. A charming B&B, good location and good breakfast.

Kathy was very comfortable to deal with and very friendly! Made us feel "at home"! Would definitely come back! The whole Tybee Island community was beautiful! Food was great, fellowship was great, accomodations were great! Thank you Tybee Island Inn!

We felt so at home here. The building is old and historic but well kept, and the garden is lovely. We stayed in the Captain's Quarters, a beautiful room with a very comfy bed, but, it does have physical barriers, especially the steep staircase to get to the bathroom, so I would not recommend it if you are older (we are latter 60's) or if you have any sort of physical limitations at all. One of the other rooms would be a much better choice. Kathy, the inkeeper, is just wonderful! She and Jackie work hard to make everybody feel at home and comfortable. The food is good, the daily treats are truly treats, and the coffee is always on. When staying on Tybee , I do think that you would regret not having a car, even if only to get to and from the airport. Don't miss taking at least one long walk on the beach.

First time at a B & B and was very happy with our stay, will do it again

Staff were friendly, engaging and helpful..Breakfast was delicious. The Inn is centrally located and the grounds were a sanctuary. We were very comfortable and the stay felt like being at home.

Only wish we would have know the bathroom was on different level than room. Stairs were tough! But breakfast was incredible!

Lovely Inn and lovely people. One draw back. If you are older (we are) you might want to think twice about the Captains Quarters as it requires climbing stairs for the bathroom.

Relatives had invited us to eat breakfast with them, so we did not get to sample the breakfast items. However, we did get to enjoy beverages and the special homemade snacks provided. Kathy, the innkeeper, was very welcoming, telling my husband about some of the nearby landmarks and providing me with information about some of the local stores. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and look forward to a return visit in the future.

Wonderful hostess - warm & friendly & welcoming; made me AND my dog feel at home. Beautiful spot - close to the beach, which unfortunately is not pet friendly, and to a pleasant park, which is. Nice decor, lovely garden. If the beach was pet-friendly, I would return often!

Inn is away from the crowds on Tybee Island but jammed in between 2 nursing homes. Rooms were fine but waaaayyy overpriced.

I had a wonderful time at this little inn! The room (Lighthouse) was lovely, very cozy and comfortable. The service was excellent and breakfast was wonderful! It is a bit pricey, but worth it in my opinion. Staff is very knowledgeable about Tybee and Savannah area. I would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone!

My wife & I stayed in the Captain's Quarters room at the Tybee Island Inn from November 7th - 10th, 2011. We had an incredibly positive experience at the inn and on the island in general. Kathy, the inn keeper, greeted us our first day and told us everything we needed to know about the house & Tybee. She was extremely friendly and more than happy to provide us with suggestions for sightseeing and directions. She offered to keep our breakfast warm incase we didn't make the 9 am meal time, but the breakfasts were so good we never missed one anyway. Our room and the common areas were extremely clean. The owners & other guests were all very friendly, too. The island is a great time. We visited during the slow season (it's too cold for the locals to go in the water in Oct/Nov, but it's almost as warm as the ocean water in New England in the hottest months of the summer). We felt like we had the beach to ourselves. Nearly everything on Tybee is walking distance. If you have one too many Porch Punches at the Tybee Island Social Club, you can get a $3 cab/golf cart ride anywhere on the island. I can't say enough good things about the Tybee Island Inn and the island. We will almost definitely be returning in the near future! PS - Servicemembers should ask Lloyd for a military discount, he really took care of us.

I don't think I have relaxed that well in a long time. It was just so peaceful and the staff was very accomodating.

i stayed in the savannah beach room. i really felt welcomed and at home; and the innkeeper, kathy, was terrific. the inn was charming and located nicely for a peaceful run. the only addition i would make is fluffy towels. at over $200/nite, i felt my stay warranted softer/fresher/newer towels. thank you for the personal touch kathy!

Quiet little piece of Tybee Island under the beautiful oaks with a magnificant garden. I cannot wait to return and stay in another charming room. Even the breaksfasts were original and delicious!!

The Tybee Island Inn is located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the beach. Beach luxuries are readily available. Inn keepers are very friendly and helpful. The property is landscaped with gardens, fountains, boardwalks and stones paths with Spanish Moss draping all the trees. Shops, restaurants and sites are very close and can be enjoyed by all.

The innkeeper went out of her way to make our stay memorable, meeting special requests AND baking cookies for us!

Our room was the Sea Cabin and was very comfortable. Our innkeeper, Kathy, was very gracious and accommodating. Excellent breakfasts. Enjoyed the company of the other guests. The location of the Inn made it easy to get around the island. We would love to return when the weather is warmer to enjoy the beach. Would definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful place to relax! Loved our stay at Tybee Island Inn BB. The staff was wonderful and helpful. We enjoyed the lighthouse tour and beach. The afternoon goodies were great also. We even took a nap in the front!

The B&B was really lovely and well maintained. The innkeepers were smart to include little things that make a big difference, such as, a kitchen area available to guests, internet access with wifi, and magazines. They also provided things you may not think to pack, such as beach chairs and bug spray. Breakfast was wonderful with plenty of leftovers for second and third helpings.

A great place to stay and the food is awesome! Great location, short walk to the beach and wonderful grounds. Couldn;t have asked for a better stay.

Will visit again! I travel with 2 wire fox terriers and we were ALL made to feel welcome! Look forward to our next visit.

The Captains Quarters was an awesome room, two tv's, surround sound, separate entrance and pet friendly. I have no complaints and I really like how it is just a five minute walk away from the beach. There is absolutely not one bad place to eat on the island but I especially like Fannies just right across from the beach.

It was a great place to get-away...and only a block from the beach. Very convenient location...and quiet! The Innkeepers, Jackie and Kathy, could not have been nicer.

I was able to get a room at the last minute. It was surprise 15th anniversary treat for my wife. We were able to have friends keep the kids for two nights. I requested if a picnic lunch could be set up for additional fee. Kathy kept it very discreet because she knew it was a surprise. She prepared a cooler full of food - an excellent vegetarian sandwich, fruits, cracker, dip, and champaign. Instead of going to the beach, we decided to stay at the garden in front of the B&B on such a hot day. It was very peaceful and probably THE best B&B we stayed at...

Had a great time and can't wait until we can visit again. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good.

The level of service and empathy. On all levels was the best service we have ever had. We have been comimg for years. My only complaint would be that we haven't come as much as we would like to because of the age limit on children. We have a 3 year old and can't come as much, and have to stay at other hotels because of this we would be Much happier and feel more at home if we could stay there with our 3 yr. Old.

The Tybee Inn Bed and Breakfast is not clsoe to the main shopping area -- which is a good thing. It's in a quiet neighborhood and a very short walk to the beach. Kathy was a great host and offered to make us sandwiches to take with us on a very very early morning flight. When our flight was delayed she made us a nice breakfast before we left the inn. Nice service. The rooms while clean and comfortable didn't have a specific designed look -- not victorian for instance. I just wasn't wowed by the room. But dont let that deter you. If you're looking for a nice place to stay away from the more commercial restaurant/shop area on Tybisa stay here and dine at North Beach Bar & Grill.

We actually searched for a bed and breadfast to stay in on a whim. We were pleasantly pleased at the Innkeeper's wonderful personality, and the accommodations! As soon as we found the place, walking up to the beautiful inn was a pleasant oasis in the front yard. It was so peaceful and inviting! We felt really welcomed, and every possible need was met! Even ones we didnt know we had! And the best part is this place is so close you can literally walk to the beach in less that 5 minutes! And the beach was SO wonderful and very secluded! Its SO worth a repeat! Actually, we have loved the inn and the place so much that we will be moving there just as soon as we can. However until then, we will be going back to visit Kathy, the Innkeeper, and this Inn!

Took care of special dietary needs of my party without a problem. Room was very comfortable, deck overlooking front of house still has us talking. Friendly folks, lovely visit. Hope to come back.

My husband and I stayed in the Mermaid Room and loved the decor. The bed was absolutely one of the best I've sleep while traveling. The B&B was quite and our host was wonderful.

I stayed and the Tybee Island Inn over the weekend of my wedding, we had a great time getting ready on Saturday in the very large Captain's Quarters and my husband and I enjoyed our wedding night in privacy as well!

Wow, I had no idea how quaint Tybee Island is until now. I spent the weekend on a one tank getaway with my friend. We both needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life in Powder Springs. This was the perfect place. Innkeeper Kathy was just the absolute best! Her personal attention to all of our needs was phenonminal! She's a gem. The mermaid statues kinda freaked me out a little but I made it work. I love the trees, the moss, and of course the beach! I will be back, again and again! "the light of the sun on my back"

I was quite surprised, never stayed at a bed and breakfast. It was a wonderful experience. Beach was less than 5 min from inn. Beach chairs were available as well as sunhats, sunscreen and whatever else you needed. Look forward to coming back next year. Thanks for making it a pleasurable trip;)

I stayed at the Tybee Inn B&B over the 4th of July weekend 2011. The Inn provides everything you need to explore the beach down to the suntan lotion. The rooms are excellent and Kathy makes you feel right at home, plus makes a great breakfast. Nice garden area around the Inn for relaxing in the shade, common area for fixing tea, or keeping items in the refrigerator, and WiFi throughout the house. Many of the attributes to make your stay comfortable.

Cute place...room was really really cold with no thermostat. Shower curtain rods were pvc pipe. Really nice staff, tasty breakfast...nice, but for $250, I dunno.

We stayed in the Lighthouse room for just one night, but in that time, the innkeeper made us feel so at home and was able to handle anything you threw at her. I proposed this weekend, and the staff went above and beyond to assist however they could in my plans (which involved them thoroughly), and all via phone and email communication prior to arriving. Overall, a totally spectacular B & B.

My husband and I spent 3 nights June 14-17, and it was amazing. The grounds are beautiful, and the beach is really on a 3 minute walk. Ice cream in the freezer at all times, coffee and fresh cookies available at all times, and in the hot afternoons, wines for pleasure. We drank coffee on the huge porch, and then sliped away for sun rise on the beach. After hot afternoons and noise in town, this is a perfect place to relax. inda is great, and the gourmet breakfasts were unbelievable. We will return!

The owners of this Inn have done everything right. Photos cannot show the natural beauty and feel of this place...you must stay there and experience it firsthand. We highly recommend Tybee Isalnd Inn. It exceeded our expectations in many ways.

This is our second year staying at Tybee Island Inn and we have enjoyed both visits very much. Tybee Island Inn has now become our home away from home.

We had a great stay at Tybee Island Inn. It started with a greeting from Kathy at the door as we arrived. I did notice that this was not just for us. Each day started with a mouth watering description of the breakfast and each time it lived up to its hype. The rooms were extremely clean. The front porch and garden were a wonderful surprise for sitting to read or visit with others staying at the Inn. The picture doesn't capture the comfort it provides. George, their gardener, always provided us a list of favorite dining spots. We will definitely return to this oasis. Chris & Ellen

Absolutely charming inn! The live oaks and Spanish moss that overhung the entire front yard gave the aura of a setting from a fairy tale! This inn was the perfect touch for the 2nd half of our honeymoon!

The breakfast was amazing, could not ask for better food. Loved the wine and snack at 4:30, and met some great people while staying there. Our host answered all our questions about the island and more.

Stayed at the Pelican, which is a triplex, not part of the B&B. Enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the location was very convenient.

We stayed at Tybee Island Inn four nights in both of the pet friendly rooms. Owner Lloyd and innkeeper Kathy were wonderful to us. They both made us feel at home with conversations during happy hour and welcomed our pet to their inn. Loved visiting Tybee Island and Savannah and hope to be back soon.

We LOVED our room at the Tybee Island Inn. We stayed one night in the Sea Cabin, a room with a queen bed and a huge bathtub. The sheets were amazing, and the tub was big enough for 2. The outside area is very quaint, and the innkeeper Kathy made us feel right at home. My only complaint is that we only had one night to stay there! I definitely recommend this inn. The only thing we didn't do was eat breakfast. It was served at 9, and we just didn't make it up in time. I look forward to staying there again as soon as I can.

There were three people in our party. We arrived on Thursday and were delighted to see the approach to the house. Beautiful fountains and sitting areas. Wide front porch with rockers and a porch swing. Inside the inn we were greeted by Kathy, who was wonderful. She was very nice and answered any questions we had about Tybee Island and Savannah. Our room was the Lighthouse room, which had a balcony. The furnishings were delightful. Breakfast was very good and there was a butler's pantry were guests were encouraged to make coffee and tea throughout the day and evening. At 5:30 each evening there was wine and appetizers. Overall, our stay was wonderful and we cannot wait to make a return to the Tybee Island Inn.

We stayed at the Tybee Island Inn for two nights during our Honeymoon trip to Savannah. When we head that way again we will definately make this spot part of the itinerary. It is a perfect little, dreamy property. The owner, Lloyd, and innkeeper, Kathy, were the most gracious of hosts. Every need or want was attended to without hesitation. Their recommendations of places to go were exactly dead on. Their passion for where they live is infectous. Being in the hospitality industry myself and also hailing from a beach resort community, my standards are pretty high. They exceeded every one. Thanks for an outstanding time! It was a delightfully charming place to stay at, the saff were wonderfully kind and friendly. The room was excellent and the home had a wonderful homey and intimate feel. My only dissapointment was the breakfasts. I wish that we had been offered a selection. I did not always care for what was served and would have liked to have been given the choice of the specialty of the day or a simple Bacon, eggs and toast meal. For that reason I would rate it a little overpriced.....Other than that it, was excellent!!

This is a beautiful inn in a gorgeous setting, tucked away on the quiet side of the island and jut steps from the beach. We stayed in the 'lighthouse room' . It was beautifully decorated, private, spacious, and had everything one could wish for except in the toiletry department, which was more 'holiday inn' than 'romantic inn'. The service was excellent, friendly, and hospitable. We especially appreciated the little 'self-serve' area where coffee, tea etc. were always available. They also provided a fridge, wine glasses, cutlery for guests' use. We would certainly return.

The friendlyness of the staff was exceptional. the atmosphere was far greater than I anticipated. the Island itself was outstanding, and you made it even better. we can't wait to come back for another visit, maybe a little longer the next time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tybee Island Inn. We picked the inn online and couldn't have been happier with our accommodations or the service we received. I've officially been spoiled. They even made sure that I didn't have meat as a vegetarian.

The yard is great to hang out in. They have beach towels, chairs, hats, lotion...whatever you need to walk a block to the beach. They have 24 hour coffee (the best B&B idea EVER!), juice, snacks, ICE CREAM...help yourself. The innkeeper would do anything to make your stay more enjoyable. He's a fun guy to chat with.

The porch was a perfect spot to meet people! Loved the big tub inside.

Loved the hospitality and the history of the b & b. Disappointed in our room. We stayed in the Flamingo which was very narrow with no where to put out our toiletries. The Innkeeper's were extremely nice and helpful with making us as comfortable and welcome.

We decided on a quick getaway to Savannah and found Tybee Island Inn on line. The photo looked divine. What a treasure this is. We stayed in the Lighthouse room and it was fanbulous! It was like staying in a tree house as the 200 year old oak just (practically climbable from our patio). We have already booked a return trip!

The high attention to detail and the cleanliness of the Inn was really welcome after many weeks of travel. The Tybee Island Inn was a stop on the way to Savannah, Ga for a long weekend. Really appreciated the helpful service and excellence of the staff.

The innkeepers were wonderful - always available to meet your every need. The decor was eccletic and charming - very homey. The attention to detail (wine in the afternoon, ice cream in the freezer, good reading material, etc.) made our stay a very memorable one. Can't imagine staying anywhere else when in the area! Hope to come back again soon.

The Inn was very homey and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, and the wine and snacks in the evening was very nice. I was pleasantly surprised at how close the Inn was to the beach! ..Very nice remote beach too.

Excellent happy hour and large breakfast, but the breakfast was all very sweet and high calorie. For this high price, we expected more. There were limited amenities, such as no hand lotion, kleenex and no robes. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I took my 82 year old mother who has short term memory loss to this B & B for a short vacation. Everything was wonderful! Peaceful and relaxing. The innkeeper, Kevin, went above and beyond in helping with my mom and making sure everything was perfect for us. Everyone we had contact with at the inn gave us wonderful suggestions of where to go and where to eat, etc. that fit into our limited capabilities. This was our first stay at a Bed & Breakfast, and we were NOT disappointed! Lloyd and Cathy were wonderful hosts and Kevin was a wealth of knowledge. The Lighthouse room was just beautiful, with its fireplace and porch .It was wonderful getting up and having a cup of coffee on our own little porch in the morning. The food was absolutely wonderful! We ate "gourmet" breakfasts and were ready to start our day of sightseeing fully fueled! Thank you Lloyd and Cathy for making our "first" experience , a GREAT one!

This trip made my third stay at the Tybee B&B, and as usual,did not disappoint.I've stayed there on my own and loved the nostalgic days on the beach and R&R at the Inn. I've taken girlfriends for a much-needed break and tasted so many flavors of life!! The island has everything you could need a skip away.Beach and lighthouse are a very short walk away.Amazing locales to shop in, have a cocktail in, or dance the night way in.The locals are so friendly! Savannah is just a short drive away, if you want to get your River St. on.It's like the best of BOTH worlds when you stay at Tybee B&B, you get it ALL. The owners were very gracious and waking up to a lovely breakfast at 9am was a wonderful way to start each new adventure and day! ANY questions at all, just ask Kevin. He saved us SO much time with directions to anywhere on the islands, our tastes on where we wanted to go, and knew every street in Savannah as well!! Our time was much better spent with his knowledge/guidance of all there was to see and do! Staying at the Inn makes you feel as though you've stepped back in time to such a romantic & historical time and place with all of today's conveniences as well.Whether it's reflecting on the beach,having fun with the girls, or just a romantic weekend away, the Tybee B&B/Inn has it all. I will be back and I expect you will see more of my friends there now too!! Lol

The Inn was beautifully kept and well maintained. Our room the "Captains Quarter" exceeded my expectations and very comfortable. The private patio and entrence was a nice touch as well as the sun room. The staff provided a very nice warm welcome. I would most certainly stay here again on my next visit to Tybee Island.

My wife and I stayed here for our first anniversery. It was awesome. We couldn't have had a better time. The host was extreamly helpful. Met us at the car and carried our baggage to the room for us, very unexpected, but nice. Room was great , food was great. No complaints. We will be going back soon. Well worth the money. John & Pam

My husband and I stayed the B&B on weekend. Staff were very friendly and professional. They gave us good information about local restaurant and tour. Evening wine with cheese and breakfast were excellent. Room was clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay there.

The Tybee Island Inn is a great out-of-the-way place for a respite. The location is perfect for taking a quick drive over to explore Savannah, or just hanging out on site and being lazy. The grounds are immacculate, and reflect the true Southern charm of the area. The staff at the inn are incredibly hospitable. Check out AJ's for dinner; you won't be disappointed. By the same token, don't fall into Uncle Bubba's tourist trap. Service is substandard and food is better at Captain D's! A number of locals shared this information with us, but we refused to heed their warning and were greatly sorry that we did. The Tybee Island Inn is an awesome little getaway, just steps away from the beach.

This was a one night stay for us, and we arrived late do to traffic so we didn't get to enjoy the Inn and island as much as we would of liked. Everything was neat, clean, and welcoming. Service was great and we would love to go back.

Greatly enjoyed our stay at the Tybee Island Inn Bed and Breakfast. When we arrived, the innkeepers were very welcoming, and upgraded our room since the one we originally had booked was under renovation. The room was very clean, elegantly decorated and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious. We were very pleased, and would stay here again when we return someday to Tybee Island!

Wife and I were looking for a place to getaway for a night and found that the Lighthouse Room was available. We are really glad we chose it. The bathtub is huge and easily held both of us. The porch would be awesome in warmer weather to sit on and relax. The hosts were extremely personable and made us feel very comfortable. We also enjoyed dinner at the Tybee Island Social Club. The breakfast was incredible. Would highly recommed this place for anyone looking to have a memorable trip to Tybee.

I cannot say enough about the Inn keepers at Tybee Island Inn. They were warm, helpful and everything was perfect. Marcie out did herself with breakfast....best looking and tasting meal I have ever had. The town was fun, the short walk to the beach was nice, and the sunrise was stunning. I will be back.

This was our second visit to the Tybee Island Inn and as with our first we thoroughly enjoyed it. The house is charming and all the rooms are different and decorated to a high standard. Breakfast is always imaginative and it's a pleasure to enjoy it with the other guests and the innkeepers Marcy and Jonathan. The location of the Inn is good for the beach - it's on the quieter end away from the pier, so there's plenty of space. Marcy and Jonathan are a mine of information and always have suggestions for places to visit and dine at. Thanks for another great stay!

It is so very difficult to find pet-friendly accommodations. Tybee Island is both pet-friendly and people-friendly. The Captains Quarters with private fenced area was beyond perfect. Marcy and Jonathan couldn't have been kinder and I eagerly look forward to my return visit next year.

When my wife and I arrived, we were welcomed very nice. When we saw our room, we were very pleased. Johnathon and Marcy were so happy to see us and welcomed us. We were given a tour of the Inn, and all that was offered to us. The Island was so nice and the people there was so nice. When we had breakfast the next morning, we were blown away. Pancakes with chocolate and white chocolate morsels, whipped cream on top, drizzled with syrup. Then on the side was a slice of ham. Coffee that tasted like it was grown right there, and Orange Juice. What made the breakfast even more relaxing was the other guests that was there. We all got along, and was like we knew each other for a long time. The Beach that was close by was so beautiful. My wife and I went out there early in the morning before breakfast, and watched the sun come up. As for our day, my wife and I met the owners Lloyd and Kathy. they were as nice in person as in their video, which sold us on coming there. Lloyd seemed very interested where my wife and I cajme from, and kathy was so nice and pleasant to talk to. The next morning we had a awsome Quiche with homemade blueberry coffee cake. And what I liked was Johnathon helped one of the guests find a good book store in Savannah. Our stay was only two days, but we plan to go back. If anyone wants to enjoy a quiet vacation, go to Tybee Island. Not only was the Inn very relaxing, I found out that the Inn was actually a hospital. The house is over 100 years old, and when you walk inside, you can feel the warmness and the history of it. If you do plan on vacationing at Tybee Island, take in the Dolphin tour right there is Tybee. I recomend the sunset dolphin tour. Our time in Tybee was so relaxing, and so beautiful

The most relaxing B&B we have stayed. The Sea Cabin is very much like a suite and made our time even more enjoyable.

We stayed 3 days in April and had very nice time. Marcy and Jonathan were very attentive to our needs. The Inn and gardens out front are beautiful.

Positive Feedback: Although we arrived earlier than anticipated, we found the doors open and welcoming guests. While we waited on our hosts to return from their lunch, my husband and I decided to take advantage of the cozy little porch right off of our room (Lighthouse Room). The view is amazing. The feeling of peace and serenity surround you at once. The island is a small but very luxurious space that is easy to walk. The beach is a short 4 minute stroll. Negative Feedback: Nothing negative to say about this place. I enjoyed every part of my stay here. Overall Impression: Tybee Island is a secret getaway few get to enjoy. I encourage each of you to go see the island and experience the beach life here. It's fantastic. Also, if you have a mind to go deep sea fishing, try Amick's Deep Sea Fishing, ask for Brad. He will take you to catch some of those 26 lb. Red Fish!!!

My husband and I would like to thank you again of a wonderful stay we had at Tybee Island Inn. It was our 1st and we will be coming back soon. We might not wait til our Anniversary to enjoy the wonderful atmopshere you both have created. It was the most relaxing and stress free stay we have ever had. Just returned from our extended weekend at Tybee Island Inn. The Inn is located in a cozy setting at the northend of the island with 200 year old live oaks growing all around it. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the Innkeepers were very friendly. The breakfast each morning was delicious and conversation with the other guests was fun also. I highly recommend it to visitors looking for a place to unwind and relax.

Accomodations were excellent. The most outstanding part of our visit was the hospitality provideded by the innkeeper and the owners. We had a delightful time and hope to return soon. The food was well prepared and very tasty.

I contacted Tybee Island Inn almost last-minute for a two-day, one-night stay in Savannah for my fiance and myself. I chose Tybee Island because the price fit my budget, but both my fiance and myself were delightfully surprised at the coziness, comfort, extras and wonderful treatment by the staff, and access to the beach and lighthouse. This is my second stay at a B and B and does not fail in living up to my standards of what I like to expect in my stay. It's as if staying at home with it's comfort and privacy, large rooms, quaint bathrooms and a wonderful breakfast with more than enough to fill you for a full days exploration of the island. I would highly recommend this to all who stay on Tybee Island, from my research into all the places to stay, this was the one that stood out and more than lived up to our expectations!

The Tybee Island inn was very accommodating. The innkeeper was friendly and informative. I stayed in the Captain Quarters with a copper old fashioned tub with an elegant vanity and decor. I really enjoyed my stay and will recommend to others!

This is a wonderful unique find for us. We have very limited time for vacations and when we arrived at the Inn we were greeted by the ever friendly Lloyd. Lloyd and Kathy have the perfect location for everything. We enjoyed Savannah one night and then to top that, a very relaxing walk along the beach across the road from the Inn. The sweet snacks at night were a great treat as was the friendly staff. They also went to extra trouble to accomodate my wife who had some medical issues, and we are very appreciative. Thanks again guys! Can't wait to come back!!

My boyfriend and I visited Tybee Island and had the pleasure of staying at Tybee Island Inn Bed and Breakfast. Innkeeper, Lloyd Kilday, was very friendly and knowledgable of local attractions and recommended several wonderful restaurants to dine at. The Inn itself was truly beautiful. The front entrance leads into a gorgeous garden with a fountain and plenty of seating to share quite moments. We stayed in the Dolphin Room and absolutely loved it! We also enjoyed talking with the other guests over morning breakfast, which by the way, was outstanding. This was our 1st experience staying at a B&B and can't wait to do it again. The quite, romantic atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for.

We have visited Tybee Island in twice in the last 2 years. Both timse have been excellent. The innkeepers and house manager were so friendly and welcoming. It was like we'd known them forever. The house was meticulously kept and I loved to private decks. The breakfast was THE BEST I'd ever had at a B&B. It was like dining at a gourmet restaurant. And afternoon snack gives you a little something extra to look forward to. It was great to have access to a refrigerator as well as providing tea and beverages during the after hours. With the beach just a few steps away, providing towels and beach chairs is just a small example of the great hospitality. We look forward to visiting you over and over for many years to come!

Even though we were there for a short 2 night stay, I wished we could have stayed longer. I would definitely come back for a week. Lloyd and Cathy were great and the Chef (Preston) was excellant. Combine the wonderful staff, extremely short and pleaseant walk to the beach, and easy commute to Savannah and you have a great place. I hope to return some day and bring friends

We come back here because we love the smalltown atmosphere of the island and we love the inn. The inn is decorated beautifully in antiques that could easily be in any magazine.
