The Dresser Palmer House

Named for Savannah's own songwriter and singer, the Johnny Mercer suite is located on the second floor of the West wing. This room is the largest in the Inn with the king-sized bed tucked in a cozy alcove, leaving a large sitting room facing the working gas fireplace. The three tall "waltz out windows" lead you to your own private second floor balcony facing prestigious Gaston Street. The bathroom features a large walk in shower.

Named for the original owner of the West wing, the Henry Dresser room is located on the second floor of the West wing. This room features a king size bed, working gas fireplace and two tall "waltz out" windows to a very large, second floor, shared veranda facing the courtyard. This exquisite room features a king size four poster bed, working gas fireplace and two tall "waltz out" windows to your own private second floor verandah facing prestigious Gaston Street. A "pretty woman with a dirty face" — this is how British Lady Nancy Astor described Savannah in 1946. Much has changed since then, and Lady Astor would be proud. The room features a working gas fireplace, a 32" flat panel television, and a king-sized four-poster bed. The bathroom features a combination claw foot champagne bubble tub and shower.

Named for John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist movement in Savannah, this room was the original grand parlor of the Henry Dresser side of the house. With 13 foot ceilings, original plaster medallion, and heart pine floors, this large room features a king-sized four-poster bed dripping with crocheted lace, and a working gas fireplace. The brand-new spa-like bathroom features a walk in shower.

Emma Kelly, also known as "The Lady of 6,000 Songs", was made famous in the movie "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil". This room is located on the second floor of the East wing. With two entrances, one at the top of the main east stairs, the second off the large second floor shared verandah. The Emma Kelly room features a king-sized four-poster bed, a twin daybed, and a working gas fireplace. As you enter the bathroom there is a very large, two-person walk in shower with two opposing shower heads.

Named for the original settler of Georgia, the James Edward Oglethorpe room is located on the second floor of the East wing. This room features a king size bed, working gas fireplace and two tall, "waltz out" windows to a very large, second floor, shared verandah facing the courtyard. The bathroom features a large walk in shower.

Known as “the most romantic room in the Inn”, the Wisteria room is a very private room located on the basement level of the West wing. This room features two entrance doors - one door off the courtyard, and a very private entrance from Gaston Street. With brick floors and walls, and a gas burning fireplace, you're sure to feel that old-world charm. The king-sized bed is framed with four massive columns joined with wrought iron, and the headboard is padded, stitched leather. The oversized bathroom features a large walk in shower.

Named for the famed leader of Savannah's Civil Rights Movement, the Ralph Mark Gilbert room is located on the parlor level of the West wing with an entrance door off the courtyard. This room features two queen size beds and soaring ceilings. The bathroom features a very large, two-person walk in shower with opposing shower heads. This room is handicap accessible.

Named for Mary Telfair, who is famous in Savannah for willing her mansion to the Georgia Historic Society and is now known as the Telfair Museum. This large, parlor level room is located on the West wing of the Inn. As you walk through the entrance door, straight ahead is a desk facing out into one of Savannah's wonderful hidden gardens. To the left you enter into the guest room - which features a king-sized, four-poster bed and a working gas fireplace. The bright, sunny bathroom features a walk-in shower.

Named for Conrad Aiken, the American novelist and poet born in Savannah. This room is located on the second floor of the West wing with an entrance off the shared garden veranda. A corner room with lots of natural light, the room features a queen-sized, four-poster bed. The sunny bathroom features a combination claw foot, champagne bubble tub and shower.

Named for Flannery O'Conner, a famous Southern writer born in Savannah. This room is located on the second floor of the East wing with an entrance off the shared garden-side veranda. A corner room with lots of natural light, the room features a queen-sized bed and faux fireplace. The sunny bathroom features a claw foot, cast iron soaking tub with shower.

Named for Florence Martus, known in Savannah as the Waving Girl. This corner room located on the courtyard level has exposed brick walls and a queen-sized sleigh bed. The spacious bathroom features a walk-in shower.

The Confederate Jasmine room is a very private room located on the basement level of the East wing. This room features two entrance doors, one door off the courtyard and a very private entrance from Gaston Street. With brick floors and two queen-sized bed, comfort abounds. The new bathroom features a walk-in shower.

Located on the basement level of the East wing, the Gardenia room has large windows that allow for a lot of natural light. The bedroom features a queen-sized bed with a new spa-like bath with walk-in shower.

Tucked into the basement level of the West wing, the cozy Azalea room has half windows that allow for natural light during the day. The bedroom features a queen-sized bed with a new spa-like bath with walk-in shower.
