WOW! We LOVE Savannah! We consider ourselves "Southerners" but the hospitality and ante bellum southern atmosphere reign true here! Keith is a gracious and magnanimous host. We enjoyed his affable conversation on the porch and adored... read more

Review The Galloway House, Savannah, GA

Photo Album

The front porch for coffee in the morning or wine in the evening.A GREAT way for independent travelers to see Savannah is get out and peddle! Go to Tybee Beach or Boniventure Cemetery! My bikes are available to all guests and have adjustable seats and handle bars.
I only use white 400 or better thread count Egyptian cotton sheets and duvets, so please, no matter how comfy they are, no eating in bed!Just so you now what the neighborhood is like, this house is across the street from me.
The front door to the 1st floor apartment in the carriage house but as I have 3 Great Danes you have to watch your step!A queen size bed with Egyptian cotton sheets and a 3 inch memory foam mattress topper! You're not coming to Savannah to sleep all day, but if you do, we won't tell!
The living room in the 1st floor of the main house apartment. The sun room is through the two glass doors and the dining room is on the right. The dining room of the main house 1st floor apartment easily accommodates 12 guests. I also know two private chefs who will come to the house, prepare and serve a dinner for an evening that no one will soon forget!
The main house is about 20 ft. from the carriage house, so for a group of friends or an entire family, a few feet can make for a great vacation! The bedroom in the carriage house 2nd floor apartment.
Go ahead, sit in the shade and gossip, it's a Savannah past time. The 1st floor of the main house is larger in square feet then the average American home.
The entrance to the first floor apartment in the carriage house on the left and the tool shed on the right.Charlie, Moose and I a few years ago and now we all have a few more pounds and a bit more grey.
