    Nobody Does It Better

    June 03, 2013

My wife and I have a Vacation Rental just down the block from Park Avenue Manor. When my niece, her brother, and her son told me that they were coming to visit from Michigan, unfortunately we were booked. Fortunately, Maurice and Glenn had an opening. I knew that they would be in good hands, and in a great place. They loved this excellently decorated and equipped, award-winning B&B. From the pristine period décor and amenities, to the great breakfast among interesting people from all over...all hosted by my cordial friends and neighbors...who could ask for more. All of this at a great price ensured value and a carefree base from which to enjoy this wonderful city. Thank you Maurice and Glenn.

    Lovely, well-located B & B

    April 30, 2013

We spent three nights at Park Avenue Manor in mid-April and enjoyed our stay immensely. The Victorian manor was charming and exquisitely furnished; the hosts were warm and friendly and extremely knowledgeable about their city; the breakfasts were delicious and unique each day. Even the table settings were different each morning! In addition, Park Avenue Manor’s location at the corner of Forsythe Park provides easy walking access to Savannah's Historic District. We loved our visit and eagerly look forward to staying at this B & B during our next visit to Savannah. We give Park Avenue Manor our highest recommendation.

    Two guys

    April 26, 2013

We stayed at the Park Avenue Manor after planning a whimsical weekend trip to Savannah which one of us had never visited. We found excellent reviews online for the Park Ave. Manor and were not the least bit disappointed when we arrived. Parking was/is a breeze, Glenn and Maurice are consummate hosts, the food (breakfast; and brownies and sherry all day!) was impeccable, and the other guests for our weekend were excellent company, funny and friendly to all. One couple from Florida even offered us a ride up to the River one evening. We will return next year but a bit earlier in the azalea season which we missed this year.

    What a treat ...

    April 14, 2013

Traveling from California and never visiting Savannah, we took the advice of a local and picked Park Avenue Manor. So glad we listened!!! Parking? No problem. Walking distance to town? Easy. Suggestions for places to eat? Perfect. Welcoming and friendly hosts? All the way. House and room appealing? Absolutely (clean, historic, inviting). Breakfast? Not to be missed - yummy and lots of it!! Rates? Very reasonable. Would we stay there again? You bet. From the beginning when I called to make reservations until we left, Maurice and Glenn were attentive and willing to help. I have never received a thank you from a proprietor, never been walked to the car when leaving .... until PAM ... felt like I was leaving friends. Park Avenue Manor is what Southern Hospitality is all about. Thank you, Maurice and Glenn.

    Amenties were plentiful!

    April 14, 2013

This was my first experience staying at a Bed and Breakfast. It was wonderful. Loved all of the helpful tips that Maurice and Glenn were able to give us while visiting Savannah. The rooms were delightful and amenities plentiful ... from coffee and brownies to soap and shampoo! The patio was a relaxing place to spend time connecting with home in the evening and having an afternoon rest. Unfortunately, I was not feeling well while we stayed. I can't think of a better place in which to feel ill. Thank you!
