Named among the "Top 10 B&Bs for the Holidays, 2011" by BedandBreakfast, the Gingerbread Victorian (circa 1897) is also among the most affordable and smallest of the top-rated city bed-and-breakfast inns in Savannah. Here affordable Savannah travel is made more special with a "fresh, local and seasonal" hot breakfast with fresh fruit, homemade finger desserts in the afternoon, and wine paired with light hors d'eouvres for pre-dinner appetizers. On daily strolls or invigorating walks, guests love the inn's friendly assistance, southern cuisine, and relaxing atmosphere while enjoying Savannah as a local insider. Beckoning throughout downtown Savannah are classic to eclectic art galleries, world-class mansion museums, Deep South history, architecture and gardens, festive celebrations of diverse local cultures, youthful art school students, and garden landscapes that encourage escapism. This Greene Square neighborhood inn features memory-making homeyness in its four spacious guest rooms with king or queen, four-poster or sleigh bed. Originally renovated in 1998, the historic inn's new private baths feature jacuzzi bath or body-spray shower. A cozy alternative to Savannah hotels, Green Palm Inn is only 4 city blocks from the scenic Savannah riverfront, convenient to boutique downtown shopping, fine restaurants, chic cafes, Georgia Historical Society, music events, film festivals & City Market.

This was our second two-night stay at the well located Green Palm Inn. Diane is very helpful in making reservations for activities and dining. Her breakfast and snacks are always exceptional. We plan to stay longer next time!

Diane and Tammy were Just Perfect in every regard. They made us feel special and they were there to answer our every question and need, including their intimate knowledge of Savannah's sites and activities. They guided us well. About the only thing they did better was the sumptuous breakfasts. Fluffy quiche was our favorite. Cookies galore. Diane made us feel very much at home.

Diana is the perfect host and her team is simply wonderful. We enjoyed very much staying at the Green Palm and recommend it to any one who want to have a pleasant stay in Savannah. Although the house is centraly located and near from everything, it is situated in the "calm" section of Savannah. My spouse and I appreciated the room, the breakfast and all the little details that make you feel like home, namely the glass of wine, dips and chocolate offered during the afternoon.
