Great place to stay. Beautiful courtyard. The only bad thing was the beautiful front porch was right on a main street with LOTS of loud traffic.

This was an absolutely wonderful place to get away from it all. Within walking distance to amazing restaurants, away from all the touristy stuff (but close enough if that's your thing). We stayed in room #5 and it was so romantic. The breakfast was delicious, the service was fantastic and the location great (bed was comfy, too and coffee in the garden was a nice treat). Can you tell I had a nice time?

I learned of a package deal for the Inn through LivingSocial.com. When I called the weekend packages were sold out. I explained to the staff that I was trying to plan a surprise trip for my fiancée’s 4oth birthday. He kindly let me know of other options they had available which worked out perfectly & I made our reservation. Email confirmations quickly followed along with information about the Inn & things to do around the city. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the staff. The concierge on duty took time to show us a map of the city, highlight areas of interest & provide some background on various things to do & see while in town. We arrived on a Friday & stayed through Sunday. During the whole stay everyone was friendly & helpful. The food was delicious & the atmosphere was great. What my fiancée' did not know was that I was also planning to propose to her that weekend. In visiting with the staff during our stay they of course congratulated us & let us know they could have done things to make it special had they known. We assured them we appreciated the thought but the weekend was going quite well & we were very happy. We were in Savannah the last week of September 2011. When checking out we talked to the concierge about coming back for St. Patrick’s Day, a major holiday for Savannah. Rooms were already booking & as expected book quickly for that day. We let him know we'd think it over & call them if we decided to book. Once home we checked the calendar to find that St. Patty's day falls on a Sat. in 2012. The more we thought about it the more we wanted to go back, the holiday falling on a Sat. is perfect & we could not find any reason not to return for another visit. Within the week I made reservations on line for a Fri. to Sun. stay & our neighbor is coming with us to join the fun.

We have come to love Savannah and try to get there every year. This is our second time to stay at the Forsyth Park Inn and we love the fact that we can bring our dogs and stay in the Cottage. The Cottage is roomy and perfect for someone with a pet. Forsyth Park is right across the street and we love to spend time there. Jerry is always helpful and enjoyable to talk with. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else! D&D from Nashville, TN
