From the moment I booked my visit until the moment we left, the staff met every question or request that we may have had regarding our stay with smiles and professionalism. Next time we are in Savannah, we will return to the Ballastone, to enjoy the southern hospitality!

Ballastone Inn surpassed any and all expectations we had! The inn itself is absolutely gorgeous, the staff is warm, friendly, professional and accommodating, the location is perfect, the breakfasts were delicious, the rooms were decorated beautifully with wonderful antiques...and the beds were heavenly! We highly recommend Ballastone Inn, and are looking forward to our next stay!

This was our second visit to The Ballastone Inn and we enjoyed it as much as the first time. We booked a different room this time, which was probably a mistake. Our room was on the first floor and was spacious enough, but was a bit dark and the bathroom small. The bed was comfortable. The service at the Ballastone is great, Melissa, the Manager is so warm and accommodating. The entire staff was friendly and so hospitable. The breakfasts and the afternoon snacks and evening hors d' oeuvres were very tasty and the perfect amount. The Inn is in a perfect location for walking the streets of Savannah! We enjoyed it very much.

The Ballastone Inn was a great place for a 3-day getaway. Beautiful rooms, good morning breakfast and ideal location right in the heart of the historic distance. Everything is within walking distance. Our room (Rhett Butler) was a little noisy because it faced Oglethorpe.

Located in the historic district, it was a couple of blocks to the river and all the best restaurants. Try Chive, it was really good. Breakfasts were top notch and the afternoon tea with snacks, before dinner treats and after dinner port / sherry added to the experience. The owner went above and beyond when we needed our lunch heated up. She set a table, brought out china plates and served us some dinner roles and tea. Very nice experience overall.

My husband and I had a great three night stay at the Ballastone Inn. The staff went above and beyond for Saint Patrick's Day with green grits served with the egg dish, chairs set out along the parade route (which is steps from the hotel), and a light buffet lunch of corned beef, cheese, and rolls served after the three hour parade. The Inn itself is gorgeous with many different, historic rooms to pick from. There are some stairs up to the reception area and they will help you with your bags (although the young lady helping looked smaller than the bag itself). There is an elevator in the back of the Inn. The common rooms are lovely and the breakfasts were delicious with a choice between oatmeal and some larger breakfast with eggs or french toast. There was also fruit, yogurt, granola, juice, and some type of pastry set out. With the exception of the rug in the Oglethorpe State room needing some vacuuming and the bathroom being a bit small (it is a historic building!), we were very happy with our stay.
