mmend the Azalea Inn for your wedding, anniversary or just a special trip. They make you feel comfortable and at home, which is not easy to do at most B&B's. The staff is very helpful and fun, and I can't forget about Joey, the 4 lb. hypo - allergenic mascot! The little touches really make the difference. The food is great, the pool and gardens are beautiful, the rooms are cozy and comfortable and the location is just steps away from everything you want to see in Savannah. We have been to many B&B's around the country, but this is by far the best! We can't wait to come back!

We stayed at The Azalea Inn and Garden for two nights in 'Sweet Olive' room. The staff was warm and welcoming, and attentive to all our needs. The property was lovely, and provided a great respite after each days activities. The breakfasts and afternoon desserts were fabulous! Highly recommend staying here when in Savannah. Greg & Janet

Stayed here during busy season-Home and Garden Tours and Music Festival. The staff went out of their way to help and accommodate. Location is good-the rest of the historic area is walkable. The off street parking is a plus and well worth the slight additional fee. The food was outstanding. The only thing I did not like was the shower in the Gentlemen's Parlor. It was a bit inconvenient with the sliding doors as far as someone using the sink area at the same time as someone wanting to use the shower. But I did not mind too much really as everything else was so perfect about our stay.

This inn is not in a safe location. Our car window was smashed and a desktop computer packed in a box was stolen. Local car dealer could not do more than wrap the window w cellophane so we had to leave the inn. The innkeeper had total lack of empathy and still charged us for the one night we couldn't stay due to the safety issues. We figured the thief could just return and steal the whole car the next night!! Pls do not stay here esp. if you are traveling with a packed car.
We are saddened that this guest had her car broken into and saddened that she feels it is our fault. We caution our guests on our website, in our confirmation email and upon check-in to practice common sense everywhere in the city. We further state that we have no security guard so please do not leave anything of value in plain sight in the car. This is actually common sense for all travelers anywhere in the world. Her car was the only one of 18 cars in our parking lot (including my own)that was broken into overnight - clearly because her car offered something of value. We assisted as best we could, calling the police, cleaning up the mess and when the dealership was unable to repair the vehicle, we offered a gift certificate for her to use on her return trip to Florida as compensation for the night they could not stay. Sadly, she felt the break-in was our fault, and she then threatened to file an appeal with her credit card company (which she did and lost, not once, but three times); as well she promised to writing poor reviews in every internet review site available to her. We believe we made a reasonable and compassionate offer given her situation, despite the fact that she signed a non-refundable agreement upon check-in. The voucher we offered could have been used anytime over the course of a year (probably on her return trip to Florida). But it was not enough for her and for that we are truly sorry. Please take your time and read the other wonderful reviews here from our many satisfied guests and please decide for yourself. We are in a beautiful residential neighborhood in the Landmark Historic District, one block from the only 5-star hotel in Savannah, 1-1/2 blocks from the world-famous Forsyth Park, site of the September Savannah Jazz Festival. Stay with us and decide for yourself. Thank you.

My husband and I almost stayed stayed at a different establishment, but then we came across Azalea Inn and Gardens on the Internet. I am so glad we did! Everything about our stay here was wonderful. Mrs. Teresa and all her staff made us feel so welcomed in their home. It felt like we had known them all for years. They informed us of some really great places to visit and even helped make reservations and arrangements for transportation. The breakfast each morning was excellent the afternoon snacks were great as well. Rooms were comfortable and bedding was very nice. I have wonderful memories here and would love to revisit. We've stayed in many B&Bs but this one really is our favorite.

We stayed at Azalea Inn for our 10 year anniversary. As part of our stay we chose the Mini-Moon package the Inn offered and it was the perfect touch. It was a wonderful romantic getaway for us. The inn and the staff were wonderful. Breakfast was amazing everyday! Can't wait to go back!!

My sister and I stayed at Azalea Inn on a recent trip to Savannah. What a treat. Teresa and her staff were wonderful. The bed was so cozy I asked Teresa where she buys her sheets and to my surprise she was able to order me a set and have them shipped to my home. The custom made body products were fabulous. My sister and I purchased body wash and lotion that Teresa has available. The only reason I gave the dining 4 stars was the breakfast was a ricotta quiche that was a bit too sweet for my morning palette. It was also chilled so seemed more like a dessert. I would definitely return to this fine B & B.

We have stayed at several bed and breakfasts across the South and Azalea Inn and Gardens is one of our very favorites and we would definately return. It was our first visit to the Inn and booked at the last minute. The room was beautifully furnished and comfortable. The sheets were AMAZING. The Concierge - Shannon- suggestions for lunch and dinner were spot on ( and she also told us where we could get the amazing sheets). I loved everything about the inn from the room, to the dining room, porches, gardens and of course Joey !
