Azalea Inn and Gardens

My husband and I wanted to do something different for our 20th Anniversary. I came across the idea of a Bed and Breakfast and Savannah was the city of choice. The Azalea Inn stood out from all the choices in the area and we were not disappointed. We loved it!!! The place is beautiful!! Shannon, Teresa and staff made sure we had a great time, from their lunch, dinner and activities suggestions to the delicious treat left in our room. Breakfast was amazing and we loved our room of choice. We will be back for sure. Thank you Azalea Inn for making us feel so welcome.

I found the Azalea on the internet and it appealed to our needs and wants for our first trip to Savannah. We could have picked so many other places, but for some reason, the Azalea stood out from the rest for us. We had no idea it would actually surpass our expectations and it helped cement what would be a superb trip, via a sleeper on Amtrak, to Savannah. From the moment we stepped through the front door, very early in the morning off the train, the warm experience started. We were even able to check into our room at around 9 am in the morning.

My husband and I recently stayed at this B&B over the Veteran's day weekend. Not only did this establishment offer rooms for free to military active duty and veterans, but they offered an incredible buffet and delicious breakfast to their guests. This home is warm, inviting, elegant and run by a superb staff. They gave us a map filled with places to go get after dinner drinks and were beyond accommodating to our needs. The rooms were spacious; complete with fireplaces and the beds were from heaven! This experience was delightful and we are so thankful for Azalea Inn's generosity to servicemen. Thank you!

My husband I were looking for a place to relax and enjoy a change in the weather. After doing a little research we choose Azalea Inn and Gardens and could not of been happier. The staff is like family. I sorta forgot that I was not at home! The food was outstanding and the wine and appetizer daily reception was warm and inviting. We felt like we had made new friends and we can't wait to return again soon!

We hardly get away without our kids so they got together and gave us a gift certificate for Azalea Inn. Best present ever. We definitely felt like guest with friends instead of being just somebody in a motel. The Inn was beautiful and comfortable. Casual yet extremely nice. The room was great and so was the breakfast. We enjoyed meeting the other guest. One guest was a wounded warrior (Azalea Inn donates rooms to our wounded soldiers) and another couple had flown in from Colorado and were married in the gardens of the Inn. Beautiful walk to river street, with many parks along the way. Can't wait to to it again.

The Azalea Inn and Gardens was a wonderful place to stay in Savannah. The staff was great. They assisted in getting reservations for dinner and the tours. The food was exceptional and the evening hour with appetizers was enjoyable. The room was very comfortable and quite. The location made it easy to walk to all attractions in the Historic District.

Let me just put the bottom line up top... Stay at this wonderful bed and breakfast. My wife and I decided to get married in Savannah and did a lot of research before choosing. We settled on the Azalea Inn and what a great choice it was! We were greeted upon check-in by Kolin. He and Kimberly were the two employees that we had daily interaction with. Both of them are the best! Courteous, knowledgeable and willing to do anything within their power to make our stay pleasant. We had a total of 8 people staying there for our wedding and each of us were equally impressed. Everything was taken care of for the wedding from the flowers to the officiant. Kolin even baked our wedding cake! Each morning, we had a delicious breakfast (Kimberly is a chef and Kolin is a pastry chef). In the late afternoon, there was complimentary wine and cheese/crackers. Later on in the evening, there was a freshly baked pastry which was equally delicious. The entire inn is beautiful and the grounds are well kept. I could go on and on but I think you get the point. This place is #1 in our book and we plan on going back next year to celebrate our anniversary,

This is a beautiful Inn. My husband and I stay in the Live Oak Canopy room and we felt so pampered. All the rooms are luxurious (yes we took a sneak peak !). Breakfasts are great and oh the desserts are sooooo yummy! The best tip I can give anyone reading this...don't delay..reserve a room at this Inn today and discover how wonderful this Inn and Savannah truly are!

The Azalea was perfect as a venue for beginning my new marriage. We were treated to so much, and were so spoiled, it was hard to come back to reality! The staff is so warm, the food amazing, and I especially love the decadence of the courtyard pool. Also a perfect place to end up after a day of walking around Savannah, where you can put your feet up, enjoy sherry and late night tyreats, and relax with yourself or other guests, all of whom we really liked. Love the Azalea!

We loved it and we will be back. Stunning home, 5-star service, most comfortable beds of any B&B or hotel I've ever stayed in, and gourmet breakfast and treats. If you're looking for a B&B to set the standard for all others, this is the place to stay. And oh yeah: Joey the Yorkie!

All the best of bed and breakfasts with all the modern perks as well. Lush bedding, great modern bathrooms, beautiful grounds. The quality of the Inn is only exceeded by the quality of guests...really the best surprise was meeting some extraordinary people. The sit down, over-the-top breakfast and evening drinks and bites are true gatherings. A wonderful experience--you may not leave the Inn.

This charming yellow Savannah Bed and Breakfast welcomes you from the outside gardens of georgeous plants and flowers to the inside decor and furnishings. They have a special greeter named Joey (a 4 lb. Yorkie) who makes all guests feel special. Teresa and Jake and their staff have created such an atmosphere of home away from home , you can't help , but relax.. They can give you any info and guidence to the beauty and historical value of the city as well as the fun side. When not touring the sights enjoy the fish pond , swimming pool and chaise lounges and the individual eating areas on the deck. The gourmet breakfasts are something for "TOP CHEF" as are the appetizers, wine and deserts served later . The beds are so comfortable you don't want to get up . They have games and videos and books for those rainy days as well as TV and Wifi. I cannot encourage everyone enough to treat themselves by sharing some time with Teresa and Jake at the Azalea Inn and Garden.

My husband and I spent four nights and would HIGHLY recommend. Kim was just outstanding she allowed us to change rooms as my husband had an issue with his back and the stairs presented a problem for him. DO NOT miss the breakfasts or evenings goodies they were wonderful! We took an evening walk to compensate the additional weight we were putting on. Thank you again for a lovely stay! Holly & Barry

My (new) husband and I just stayed at the Azalea Inn for two nights of our honeymoon and we have nothing but good memories! The place is absolutely gorgeous! We stayed in the Forsyth Room and the pictures were misleading in a good way! We thought it was going to be a little smaller but it was actually a nice sized room. The bed is HEAVEN! The sheets feel like butter and even the duvet was so comfortable! We didn't want to get out of bed in the morning, but good thing we did because breakfast was FANTASTIC every morning! We were spoiled with grits souffle and ricotta quiche and other goodies throughout the day, it was splendid! There was even a mini fridge downstairs where you could have pop or water and popcorn, as well as movies and books to borrow! The pool was a blessing on those hot days and we took full advantage. The staff was all lovely and accommodating and we will be sure to stay there on our next visit to Savannah!

My wife and I chose Savannah for its historical sights and romantic charm. Azalea Inn was the perfect stay for us. The room was pristine and the bed sheets were the most comfortable we have ever slept on. The breakfast each morning was fantastic along with the nightly homemade sweets left for us when we returned from dinner. The entire staff was extremely courteous and friendly, as well as full of insightful information in regards to local attractions and dining, which made our stay very enjoyable. We will definitely be returning for a second stay!

Being from Louisiana the Azalea Inn and Gradens made since for us. When we arrived we were even more impressed than from what we had seen in the pictures. It is perfectly located to all things to do in Savannah. The staff was just awesome, even Joey (a.k.a. Biscuit), their little dog. Anything we needed they took care of it, all of their recommendations were spot on. The Inn and gardens where beautiful, you are in town, but you had the feeling that you were all alone. Inn was very clean, well maintained, and everything you could ask for. Parking was great. Pool is beautiful. You will not be disappointed.

Though we live a short distant from Savannah a night away from our 2 year old was just the ticket...those that have a 2 year old will attest to a night away is pure heaven!..we had every intention of a night on the town, however once at the Azalea Inn, we never left! The pool which is rare at a b&b was perfect, the balcony attached to our room was great, the happy hour delicious and scrumptious. After happy hour we ended in the parlor with a bottle of wine and a scrabble board (where I soundly trounced my wife) and then the deserts came and by then there was no going out. Back to our room and a very comfortable bed and the sheets are to die for! As an early riser I went downstairs where great coffee greeted me along with the morning paper, the smell of breakfast and an adorable yorkie, who did not leave my lap (as long as I was petting him)...though I thought I was special, I guess that he does this to every guy who get's up early. Breakfast was incredible, the morning shower, hot and strong and our checkout was pleasant and friendly. If you haven't guessed by now we will return often All the best, The Thompson's

We very much enjoyed our stay and had excellent accommodations and food. But be aware that they do not accept Bed and Breakfast.com gift certificates :( Just a bit misleading since it is advertised through the B&B.com site.

Anyone who travels to Savannah and doesn't stay at one of its beautiful inns needs their head examined! The problem is, Savannah has so many inns that choosing can seem an insurmountable task. I planned our honeymoon so I was a bit nervous every time we arrived at a new place - Would it be as good as the website promised? Would my (new) wife like it? One look at the Azalea when we pulled up outside and I knew I'd made the right choice. We stayed in the Gentlemen's Parlour, which was just perfect. A big comfy bed, a nice powerful shower, even a DVD player (we normally never even turn on the TV while travelling but couldn't resist borrowing Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil from the Inn's collection to watch when we came home stuffed full of she-crab soup one evening). Its Oriental decor was something different while at the same time fitting in perfectly with the eccentric details to be found elsewhere at the Inn (see the murals in the dining room!). The staff were both friendly and helpful. Erin prepared and served our breakfast daily (we chose to eat outside by the pool - it was shaded which meant we got all the warmth without the sunburn) and also recommended dinner options (she suggested The Pink House, which turned out to be the meal of the honeymoon). Teresa, the owner, was also very helpful in making suggestions for what we should do while in town. The location was great too - we parked our car in their lot and didn't go back to it once during our stay, it was so easy to walk everywhere we wanted from the Inn. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Azalea to anyone visiting Savannah, and if we're ever lucky enough to return to that beautiful town we'll surely be returning to this beautiful Inn.

Over a number of years, we have stayed at many B&Bs. We think the Azalea Inn & Gardens may be our favorite. Located on one block from the Historic District, we were pleased that the trolley drivers knew where it was and picked us up for our trolley tour. A lot of love and care went into the restoration on this B&B. The main dining room has a mural painted on the wall that depicts the history of Savannah. Upon close investigation, you will find faces that you will recognize. From our second story room, we had an excellent view of the pool which is surounded by a carefully attended botanical garden. Our bedroom was large and beautiful. We were pleased with the imagination and variety of the breakfasts, and the wine, cheese and crackers in the afternoon as well. Teresa was a wonderful host and we found the quality of the guests to be in keeping with the quality of the Inn. We spent the first two days of a ten day trip at the Azalea Inn and the only complaint we have is that we enjoyed the stay so much, the rest of the trip was a bit of a "let down." My best friend and I took a 3 day trip to Savannah and stayed in the Carriage House on the 2nd floor and it was fabulous. We each had our own room and shared a bath. We had our own balcony where you can sit and drink coffee in the mornings. The food was outstanding as well as the service. Even when we called to get them to send a Taxi because we got stuck out in the rain. I can't wait to go back.

We just finished a three-day stay at the Azalea Inn and loved it! The room (Chinaberry Balcony) was lovely and had the added quirk of a balcony accessed by ducking through the window (because doors were taxed when the Inn was first built). The staff was very friendly and helpful (especially Kimberly) and the little touches were extra special....like coffee, tea, sodas or water available anytime of the day or night; sherry in the parlor in the evening along with the nightly cookie or dessert - always delicious! The breakfasts were exceptional - which is, of course, one of the main reasons we go to B&Bs. The location was quiet but within easy walking distance of most of the historic district - and it's air conditioned! Restaurant and tour recommendations were right on! We will definitely return to the Azalea Inn!

I took my daughter to Savannah in celebration of her 20th birthday. Our stay at the Azalea Inn and Gardens exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Before our arrival, Kimberly made dinner reservations for us and she and Teresa made wonderful recommendations regarding restaurants and tours. (These suggestions were excellent.) We were greeted by Teresa and she and Joey gave us a tour of the inn. Our room was immaculate. The bed was so comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was perfect. We had a lovely balcony and enjoyed delicious appetizers on it before going out to dinner. When we came back for the evening, the desserts were awesome! Each day was started off with breakfast that was a culinary delight. The entire staff made us feel so welcome, the inn so charming and cozy, that it was with effort that we left for our day of sightseeing. There was so much of this lovely city that we did not get a chance to see, our visit at this inn so outstanding, that we decided to return here next year. We were made to feel so comfortable and welcome that this was truly a home away from home!

Had a wonderful stay at Azalea Inn and Gardens. The rooms were beautiful and very clean. The staff were very helpful and knowledgable. The breakfasts and evening treats were over the top delicious. Would definitely go back.

This is a comfortable B and B. The staff and service are excellent. The food is outstanding. It is a pleasant walk to the river district.

I have stayed at the Azalea on three occasions and love it. The innkeepers are very friendly and helpful. Another advantage of staying at this lovely inn is the off street parking. Parking an be difficult in Savannah, but if you stay at the Azalea, you can leave your car there and easily walk to almost anywhere that you want to go - museums, restaurants, historic houses and parks. We stay there for the garden tour and for the Savannah Book Festival and are already looking forward to our next visit.

There is only one way to express our experience with Azalea Inn and Gardens......WONDERFUL! From the service, to the rooms, to the atmosphere this is really a TOTAL PACKAGE for any and every reason to stay. Thank you so much for making our experience such a memory of a life time.

Everything about our stay was wonderful! All of the staff were very helpful & offered great dinner recommendations. We arrived on our first night just in time for happy hour. It was nice to enjoy wine & appetizers with other guests. The location is great & there is plenty of parking. We were able to walk to everything. The breakfasts were great. My husband loved that they gave him a second plate of food each morning & the sweets they had out during the day. We stayed in the Sweet Olive room on the 1st floor, which had a little balcony over looking the pool. The linens were amazing! Teresa & all of the staff made us feel at home & we loved little Joey! We would definitely like to return again soon.

We stayed in the Cotton Exchange room between Christmas and New Years. The Inn goes above and beyond any expectation- They provide alot of extras not found at other inns to name one- the fresh baked dessert each evening at 8 pm. The Inn was welcoming, confortable and helpful. Great location with great parking lot. Our room was fabulous and I highly recommend this Inn to anyone traveling to Savannah.

We stayed in September 2011, and the Inn was definitely one of the highlights of our weekend trip. Everything was so wonderful. We felt like a member of the family! I would highly recommend!

Recently spent 8 days at the Azalea Inn & Gardens. The accommodations were excellent, the staff very helpful, professional and friendly. The food was the best I had in Savannah. Would highly recommend this B & B to anyone. Hope to return someday soon!

Have gone on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed in the least. The rooms are beautiful, the location is great and the entire staff is so friendly and outgoing ----- for me it is home away from home.

I took my 13-year-old daughter for a overnight trip to Savannah hoping to help instill a love of history in her by visiting that beautiful and historical city. We easily found the Azalea Inn following their directions and were so pleasantly surprised when we walked up on the porch. It felt like we were coming back to our own home. We were met at the door by the resident Yorkie. Such a cute little guy. He made our stay even more wonderful by coming into our room and hanging out. Of course my daughter LOVED that! The food was amazing! Wonderful Southern breakfast and even a picnic packed for us to take with us for lunch. We will most definitely stay again and again.

My husband and I stayed at the Azalea Inn for our 6th anniversary. My husband had never been to Savannah, and I had been once before when I was in high school. We stayed in the Gentlemen's Parlor, which I would not recommend for a honeymooning couple but worked just fine for us - it's right next to the front door and across from the sitting area & dining room, so it got a little noisy sometimes. If we're ever in Savannah again, we will definitely stay at the Azalea Inn but I think we'll ask for a room upstairs. The shower in our room was great and the sheets were absolutely amazing. Teresa shared some information with us on how to order them and I think we'll probably do just that - I just haven't gotten around to doing it yet, as we're currently busily getting our house ready for the spring arrival of our little one. The food was absolutely incredible and the grounds were lovely! The walk to River Street didn't take as long as I'd expected and was very enjoyable, as we passed through many of the historic squares and got to see a lot of great little shops. River Street, of course, was great! I loved the front porch, and Joey kept everyone entertained. The other folks staying at the same time were friendly and we enjoyed talking to them over breakfast. We've stayed at 3 B&B's, but this is the first where everyone ate together at one table, and I think I liked it. :) Overall, would definitely recommend.

It was a very romantic and enjoyable stay with at the Azalea Inn & Gardens. We were very pleased with the privacy of pool cottage. The hosts were always attentive and the food was delicious. Thanks for making our stay so fantastic. We look forward to the return.

There is truly no place like home except for the Azalea Inn in Savannah, GA. All of the staff is completely fabulous! They interact with you and treat as if you are their family making sure that you have the best experience when you come to Savannah. The food at the Inn is absolutely delicious starting with breakfast proceeding to the afternoon treats on the sideboard to the wine, fruit and cheese each evening. The Inn is a beautiful Victorian home and each room is beautiful. The bedding is so comfortable that you can't wait to get back to the inn to tuck in for the night. Teresa, the owner, is a lovely and endearing person that brings out the best in everyone she meets. She makes you feel as though you have known her for a lifetime. The Azalea Inn turned my husband into an avid bed and breakfast guy...we have made the Azalea Inn and Savannah a number one destination each year when we plan our vacations.

Two of my girlfriends and I travelled to Savannah for a girls’ weekend getaway, and the Azalea Inn was one of the highlights of our visit. The atmosphere, food, and staff made for the perfect accommodations! The inn is a gem with the warmth of a historic home and hospitality of a bed and breakfast, but the private bathrooms, luxurious bed linens, and quietness of the inn lend to a very comfortable place to stay. We also thoroughly enjoyed time relaxing in the lovely garden by the pool. We experienced the inn as a very well maintained and updated historic house. While some other reviewers on this site complained about the location/neighborhood of the Azalea Inn, I would like to remind readers that Savannah is a city and one of its unique characteristics is its socioeconomic and racial diversity throughout the city. Admittedly, the inn is a bit of a walk (20 mins) from some main attractions, but it is a beautiful walk through the neighborhoods so thoroughly enjoyable. We experienced the food to be beyond our expectations. All of the food we had the privilege to eat was delicious and clearly homemade – breakfast, evening appetizers, and the sweet treat waiting for us at the end of our days. (And, Teresa and her staff happily shared the recipes for us to make at home to remind us of our wonderful time in Savannah!) The staff was welcoming, warm, and friendly. They provided us with wonderful suggestions for “must not miss” restaurants, tours, and attractions aside from the typical tour book recommendations and their suggestions enhanced our visit to Savannah. If/when I return to Savannah, I will return to the Azalea Inn!

The rooms were nice and clean and people were very sweet! The food and dessert was awesome very peaceful!

My husband and I spent our 33rd Anniversary weekend at the Azalea Inn and Gardens and LOVED it! It was our 1st time at a B&B...we don't want to stay at a hotel anymore! The special treatment and space that you have at a B&B is wonderful! Teresa and the staff were absolutely wonderful! The food was delicious and the Inn was clean. We loved the extra special treatment we received...one was the recognition of our Anniversary! We loved meeting the other guest too. We will be returning to the Azalea Inn and Gardens as soon as we can!

This is a lovely place for a relaxing getaway. Teresa and Jake are very gracious hosts who clearly take pride in their wonderful home. We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast, but decided on the Azalea Inn for our elopement. We loved it. Sure, the house is older!!!! But it has character and history. I love the dining area with all it's paintings on the wall. Breakfast felt like a gourmet experience and it was fun having conversations with the other visitors there. We enjoyed it because the service we recieved was outstanding and we felt loved there! Our simple ceremony was great, better than I ever imagined. We had an AWESOME time! From the moment we walked in until the minute we checked out, we were treated special! The rooms are quaint and comfortable. The hospitality is top notch and the food is amazing! There is a garden oasis in the back with a pool. I forgot my swimsuit - make sure to bring yours. After a day of walking and site seeing, it would have been perfect to swim! Each afternoon we were treated to wine, cheese and various fruits. A homemade dessert was waiting for us each night when we returned from dinner! YUM-O! At breakfast there were different couples daily and it was fun to compare where we had been and make suggestions on where to go next. I think we made the right choice by staying two nights, one would just not have been enough. We were within walking distance to most places we wanted to go. We chose to drive to dinner b/c of the heat and the time of night we ate, but we were really centrally located. All in all, we had an amazing time. It was a perfect weekend get away for two in the sweetest town of Savannah! We will be back FOR SURE!

Watch out travelers, with little Joey on watch, this place is a great place to call home when visiting Savannah. Awesome staff, great breakfast, and comforts abound!

We planned our "ladies" week away and were so pleased with our choice of a Bed & Breakfast. At the Azalea Inn, Teresa and her staff were delightful. We felt as if we were sitting in our living room and chatting with company. The Inn was beautifully decorated and was warm and inviting. The breakfast were amazing! Something new and delicious each day. After our wonderful meal, we headed out on walking and touring the historic district. After a day in the Savannah hot weather, we came back to wine and appetizers and a cool dip in the pool. It was just the thing we needed to get ready for a fabulous dinner at local restaurants. We look forward to visiting again.

We had such a wonderful time at Azalea Inn! This was our first B&B experience and it was certainly a positive one. We are now looking into staying at B&B's for some of our other vacation destinations because of our great experience at Azalea Inn! We highly recommend this Inn for anyone looking to experience Savannah. The Inn is conveniently located with off-street parking. We chose the Azalea Inn & Gardens as the destination for our elopement wedding in July. Teresa and her staff were wonderful as they worked to ensure every detail for our special day was perfect and it was! Our room was the Cotton Exchange and it was amazing. I was pleasantly surprised at how amazing this Inn really was! I read all the raving reviews and they were dead on. The staff is extremely helpful and accomodating. It was our first B&B experience, so we didn't know how it would work and they were very helpful. The rooms were gorgeous- very unique and comfortable. I had a great time peeking in the other rooms to see their individual personalities when they were being cleaned! The pool in the backyard was truly a "retreat" and was a great way to relax in the afternoon and hang out with Teresa (one of the innkeepers!). The breakfast was completely shocking at how tasty it was. The food was unbelievably tasty and we couldn't wait to see the next day's creation! Little Joey, the sweetest little Yorkie, would float around downstairs and greet us, which was a wonderful surprise when I was missing my own "children"! Also, the location is absolutely perfect. A funny story: the sheets were to die for soft and I kept raving about them to my hubby. When I finally mentioned to the front desk staff how much I loved them he just smiled and mentioned that they could be special ordered and that a few people a week do it! So of course I had to place an order. But that just goes to show how some of the smallest things can be so important! Overall, I recommend this B&B hands-down to anyone. Kelly and Andrew T.

From the minute we walked in the owners and staff at the Azalea Inn and Gardens made us feel at home. With the soft beds, quiet outside space and fabulous food my mother and I couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our 40th and 70th birthdays. The breakfast was gourmet, but hearty and the evening dessert was sublime. If I can escape without children again I would head for the Azalea Inn and Gardens in a minute.

we were invited by our daughter in law to celebrate our sons birthday at the azealea inn and gardens. being new to B&B's we did not know what to expect. our time was pleasanty made our three days very delightful. though the breakfasts were not what we normally would eat, it turned out to fantastic. we found the owners and the staff very hospitable. would not mind staying there if we are ever in savannah. thanks to all the staff. arnold and barbara.

My partner and I just shared a fabulous romantic getaway at Azalea Inn & Gardens. Teresa, the owner, and her staff were exceptional and provided a wealth of information upon our arrival about Savannah. We stayed in one of the larger king suites which had a king-size bed, en suite bath, jacuzzi, fireplace and separate sitting room with views of the pool and garden. It was like staying in a private antebellum home with a bit of the Ritz thrown in; the furnishings, bedding, robes and linen were to die for. The Inn was in a great location, close to all the historic attractions but far enough away from the large tourist hotels. Homemade breakfast was served by the staff on a large mahogany table in a lovely dining room. Plenty of privacy in the individual suites but great interaction with the other guests at breakfast. Lots of interesting couples who willingly shared their experiences in Savannah. We drove to Savannah and were thrilled to find plenty of secure parking (free of charge) immediately adjacent to the Inn. The pool and garden at the back of the Inn were lovely; a rare amenity at a Savannah B & B; one of the things that set the Inn apart from other B & Bs when we made our selection. We would have loved to have had more time to relax at the pool and sip a glass of wine. We will definitely go back. The service, accommodations and amenities were excellent quality for value. We highly recommend staying at the Inn for a romantic getaway.

My friend and I stayed at the Azalea Inn and Gardens from April 14-17, 2011. We stayed in the Garden Cottage Second Floor which has 2 rooms. It is very rare to find a bed and breakfast with 2 rooms and this was absolutely perfect for us since this was a girls getaway. (We left the hubbies at home.) Both rooms were very spacious and the bathroom we shared was large enough for us both. (I also have to mention the sheets on the bed, it was like sleeping on silk. I enjoyed them so much I ordered a set for my home.) The mini refrigerator, micro and coffee maker in the hallway was an added bonus. Having coffee on the porch outside our room in the morning was very nice before going into the main house for the wonderful breakfast that Teresa and her staff had prepared for us. After walking the afternoon away it was a real treat to come back to wine and appetizers. We would take our wine and snacks outdoors and cool our feet off in the pool, then off to do some more walking and shopping. When we would return in the evening there was a delicious homemade dessert waiting for us. We would take our dessert to the front porch with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate and enjoy sitting in the rocking chairs and chatting with other guests as they returned home from their dinner. This was my first experience at a bed and breakfast and I am so happy that we chose The Azalea Inn. The entire staff was exceptional, Teresa even arranged for a taxi to pick us up on the day of our departure. I would not hesitate to stay here again if I ever have the pleasure of returning to this marvelous city. P.S. I can't forget Joey.....he was so sweet I wanted to put him in my carry on!

The innkeeper herself is a match for any quit whitted mind, delightful, positive and upper level personality. Anyone can enjoy her and her beautiful B&B. The place is lovely and caters to diet and climate control. Just ask and you will receive!!

A beautiful house & landscape with exceptional food. Especially enjoyed the tasty treats after being out at night. Good location near the stunning Forsyth Park and just far enough away from the touristy areas downtown. While the room (Magnolia) seemed rather small, the large balcony made up for it. Joey was definitely the star of the house, I wanted to take him home with me!

We loved our stay at Azalea Inn and Gardens. The room was wonderful, the inn is lovely, the breakfast is excellent and the snacks, wine and cheese were perfect. I love the Gevalia coffee maker available 24/7 for coffee whenever I want. Also, the location is excellent, close to the Forsyth Park and a nice walk to the riverfront and downtown area. It was nice and quiet. We're looking forward to going back.

Although we could only stay one night, this was the best experience we could have imagined. The innkeeper, Kolin, was so helpful, polite, and interesting. The room was absolutely lovely and even had a little balcony which was perfect for a late night glass of wine. The breakfast was delicious. We can't wait to go back and stay longer.

It's been a while since my husband and I stayed at a b&b and we couldn't have chosen a better place to renew our acquaintance with this wonderful way to travel. Everything was exceptional (including the weather and a book festival being held in Savannah). The inn and our room were both beautiful and well maintained. We particularly enjoyed the private balcony that was accessed through the window. The hospitality and food were also amazing and the staff bent over backwards to accommodate our requests. We met some other wonderful travelers (including an author from the book festival) and came home contented after a terrific two-night stay.

My husband and I were looking for a romantic Inn to spend a weekend in Savannah for our 11th wedding anniversary. We looked online for a while before booking at the Azalea Inn and Gardens. We called to make the booking and were immediately impressed with Kolin who helped us through the process. Once the booking was taken, we had several follow up e-mails as confirmation, including a list of suggested and recommended restaurants in the area. This made it a lot easier for us to pick somewhere for a celebratory meal in the area. Great suggestions made! Upon arrival we were very impressed. The Inn is very impressive with a great front porch and garden. It's just how you imagine an old Savannah home to be. Our room was lovely, with a great big balcony to sit and relax on. Each afternoon and evening, they had special treats available in the dining room. The espresso shortcake brownie bars were AMAZING! Be sure to check out whatever is on offer, you won't be dissapointed. We had breakfast in bed and were impressed with the delicious homecooked offerings. Great place, great staff, great food, can highly recommend the Azalea Inn and Gardens!

My fiance (now husband) and I chose the Azalea Inn for their "elopement package" and could not have been more thrilled with the entire experience. Theresa and the staff were wonderful from start to finish, and were more than accomodating for our small ceremony. The inn itself is just stunning, and the decor makes you feel like you've stepped back in time. The breakfasts Theresa prepared were simply delicious, and Joey, the "house pup" was the cutest thing we've ever seen. The unique rooms, fantastic beds and linens, and comfy robes were just icing on the cake. We cannot wait to return to celebrate an anniversary, or anytime we can make it back!

You took care of our every need, made wonderful breakfasts and desserts (we're inspired to make poached eggs after tasting yours!) and our family guests were welcome, which meant so much to us, being far from home for Christmas. My husband and I resently spent our 25th wedding annivesary at Azealea Inn and it was absolutely wonderful. The Inn is beautiful and so convenient for walks to Fosyth park and any where else. Terasa the Inn keeper is wonderful and all the staff was so gracious. The food was fantastic and the atmoshere was very relaxing. But, my fondest memory will always be Joey the little tiny yorkie that was so sweet and friendly.

First time in a B&B and WOW!!! I can't imagine anyone needing more than this. We are definitely going back to spend more time in Savannah & at the Azalea Inn. We have been in the best of hotels which has everyone at your beck & call, but this had all of that plus a real home feel. I stood in the kitchen with the owner and chatted while she fixed flowers for the rooms. The people at breakfast were interesting and fun. The inn was absolute platinum!!! I can't wait to go back!!!

My husband and I spent two nights at the Azalea Inn. Wish we had stayed longer. The staff was friendly and helpful. Teresa went as far as sharing the recipe for her delicious cookies. The room was clean and cozy. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast and snacks. If you are going to Savannah, the Azalea Inn is definitely the place to stay. You have to meet "Joey". He will steal your heart.

We met my sister and brother in law in Savannah for our second visit there and their first. The Azalea Inn and Gardens was the perfect place for us. We enjoyed the delicious breakfasts (with conscientious attention to my vegetarian diet) and wonderful hors d'oeuvres in the evening. The Live Oak Room was the perfect place to enjoy our evening wine and discuss our day's adventures in Savannah. Teresa makes you feel like you are visiting with friends, and Joey, the Yorkie is the best antidote to missing pets left at home. Next time in Savannah I will definitely stay here and participate in the ghost tours!

We, a family of 4 from Denmark, enjoyed very much our stay. We met great hospitality, it was very interesting talking with Teresa. She could tell us about the town, places to go. Of course you could expect that in many hotels, but we felt it more personal here and we learned a lot about Savannah. Breakfast, meeting americans from different places was very interesting for us, Wonderful with wine and snacks in the afternoon. Compared to other places we stayed, in our 3 weeks journey, the price was a bit high.

My husband and I have stayed at the Azalea Inn the last three times that we visited Savannah. It is absolutely the Best Bed and Breakfast that we have stayed in. It is a beautiful home. The owner and all of her staff truly make our experience wonderful in every way from delicious breakfasts, luxury linens, delightful sweets throughout the day, the afternoon wine and cheese social to the wonderful and helpful staff. We refer to the inn as our home away from home. We have met people from different states and countries. My husband and I recently stayed here for our 9th Anniversary and had a wonderful stay! Joey stole our hearts and Teresa and the other staff were so nice, friendly and a lot of fun to talk to! Breakfasts were fabulous and the wine/cheese hour and late night treats were delicious! We had a great stay and would love to stay there again in the near future! The room was beautiful and very charming - we would recommend this B & B to anyone considering a trip to Savannah.

What a wonderful stay my wife and I had at Azalea Inn and Gardens. The swim in the pool was very refreshing and every breakfast fresh and scrumptious. Teresa the innkeeper and her staff were fantastic. They found out we did not drink alcohol and had a classy Italian Soda for us to enjoy during the wine and cheese hour. That was very thoughtful and showed great personal touch. When we think Savannah we will always think of Teresa and the Azalea Inn and Gardens.

My mom and I just stayed at the Azalea Inn for 2 nights and completely fell in love! Everything from the decor to the service to the food was breathtaking - especially the FOOD! Breakfasts were hearty, creative, and made from the freshest ingredients (homemade cranberry white-chocolate scones? yum!). Every staff member we met was warm, gracious, and eager to help in any way they could, and the decor truly made you feel like you were stepping back in time. The only downside we saw (if you could even call it that) would be the location - it's a bit of a walk to the more bustling downtown area, but after those breakfasts and all the other delicious yet heavy food you find in Savannah, it was actually a blessing in disguise to be able to do a little extra walking! We look forward to our next visit!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 6-day visit at Azalea Inn. The innkeepers and staff could not have been more pleasant, enjoyable or accommodating. It felt like they were a part our family by the time we left. The breakfast meals, afternoon wine and hors d' oeuvres and the evening sweets were a joy to the eye, palate and soul. The rooms, including the common areas, were tastefully decorated in a Southern style, comfortable, cozy and clean -- and what a glorious outdoor courtyard and pool! With all that was included, the inn is a great value! We have wonderful memories of our time at the inn and definitely want to go back again.

The added values of outstanding cuisine and quality accommodations made this an especially memorable anniversary experience for us! The varied breakfasts were generous, creative and always fresh as were the daily “evening snacks” of sumptuous baked items from the Azalea Inn Kitchen. This Inn definitely stands out as a “must stay” for the most discerning culinary palates and for those of us that simply enjoy wonderful food creatively prepared and served. The comfortable accommodations were tidy, secure and relaxing. We enjoyed our room’s balcony and a Savannah Window in the quiet neighborhood setting which contributed to our evening rests and a nap or two during the day. The immediately adjacent free parking was another added value given the sometimes challenging parking in Savannah. Forsythe Park and surrounding areas can be reached via an easy walk and the recommended trolley company conveniently delivered us to and from the Inn during our stay. Local restaurant recommendations shared by Teresa and the staff were excellent. We want to thank Teresa, Jake, Joey and the entire Azalea Inn and Gardens staff for a wonderful stay in Savannah and for the many extra touches that made our anniversary a special one indeed. This was my first time visiting the Savannah and I was not disappointed. My family and I were warmly received by Teresa and of course Joey the cute puppy. The rooms were very clean and I truly felt at home. The staff felt like old friends and the food was delicious. I will be returning!

We are innkeepers ourselves taking our 1st vacation in 4 years. The staff at Azalea Inn were courteous, friendly and very helpful. They gave us the inside scoop on where to eat and what tours to take. I noticed at breakfast they even prepared special food for another guest who was gluten free. Every afternoon we spent some relaxing time at the pool accomponied by Joey, a cute little Yorkie. I would definetely recommend this to family and friends. In fact I already have!

Savannah was one of the cities on my list of places to visit. I was not disappointed, partly due to the great Innkeepers and staff at Azalea Inn and Gardens. They were all very helpful in guiding me in the right direction for all my sightseeing and dining choices. The Inn itself was top rate and I felt like family. The pool and garden area was a hidden treasure, all the meals were delicious and the rooms were wonderful. Teresa was the ultimate host, even after the antics of a pesky squirrel who decided to chew through a power line, knocking out a transformer, which resulted in the loss of power to several blocks. This happened to be right a breakfast time. With her calm and collected demeanor, Teresa was able to serve a delicious breakfast without a hitch! If you ever visit, request her mouth watering scones!

My husband and myself met my brother and sister in law in savannah for a visit that was put together by my husband for my birthday. Our stay was fabalous, everything was perfect and this will be where we will stay in Savannah from now on.

A friend from high school and I decided to meet halfway for a girl's weekend. From the second I contacted the Azalea Inn the service was spectacular, and it never stopped! Teresa and her team fed us the most creative and delicious food, and supplied an endless flow of coffee, wine, snacks and mouth-watering desserts. They catered to our every request, even down to making dinner reservations for us, and notifying the restaurant of my dairy allergies! Who does that? The cottage we stayed in was sooooo comfortable, and the private patio so relaxing. We were able to walk to the city market and the river front in just a few short blocks. I could go on and on and on, but the best thing to do is experience this beautiful, charming and romantic inn for yourself. Whether for a girl's getaway or a special anniversary, you will love the Azalea Inn and Gardens and you'll never want to leave. We can't wait to get back and take our husbands. Warm, welcoming and wonderful.....that was our immediate impression soon after we arrived there. When we left, our entire family group of 7, we all felt that we wanted to go back, and we will, as often as we can. Breakfast with Teresa (in perfect command of entertainment) felt like a comfortable family gathering around the table. Food was excellent. Staff was very likeable and helpful. We had a great and memorable time in Savannah, thanks to Azalea Inn.

Our first visit to Savannah, we found the Inn to be beautifull and the staff helpful and friendly, willing to go the extra mile to make things work. The hosptality in the late afternoon (drinks and snacks), the breakfast and the constant availability of refreshments etc made it a very comfortable place to be.Tips on where to go and what to do, help in sourcing a local internet cafe ( a fun place in itself) were all greatly valued services. We would love to visit again and we will recommend it to friends who are thinking of visiting the Southern USA.

My sister and I stayed at Azalea Inn in April for our annual sister trip. We were welcomed with warm smiles and easy chit chat. Our cottage (out by the pool) was wonderful complete with private patio area. The gardens made you want to go home and play in the dirt but instead I just went to my comfy bed and took a nap. The sweet house dog which really isn't a dog I believe he is in decise is just adorable. The breakfast always was very enjoyable and the staff always gave great advice on what to do with your day and where to eat. And for those of you with a sweet tooth there was always something sweet for you to enjoy. Overall this was a wonderful place to stay and I would go back as soon as I could.

My mother and I came across this B&B when it was no longer feasible to stay with my sister while visiting Savannah. Wow- I wish we'd been staying at Azalea Inn from the start. ( Sorry sis!) Teresa and her staff are always attentive and friendly. And we love Joey, Teresa's Yorkie! Breakfast is amazing! We'll continue to book with Teresa whenever we're in town!

We stayed at two different B&Bs during our one-week stay. My husband and I both agreed that this was the nicer of the two. Staff were readily available whenever we needed them and offered great ideas for things to do and placed to eat. Max and Joey (aka "The Greeting Committee") offered an extra special touch of home with their presence. The breakfasts were great and definitely something you would not get anywhere else. The wine and cheese hour and the desserts were fabulous, too. We stayed in the Magnolia room and loved the spacious balcony and beautiful view of the pool and gardens. Before we left, we were already talking about coming back. Wonderful stay!

If you are looking for a place to realx and enjoy, Azalea Inn & Gardens is for you. The service is very personal and efficient. I felt like I had been on a real vacation when I arrived back home. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed our social time with other vacationers during breakfast and the evening Hors D'ouvres hour.

My wife and I celebrated our third anniversary at Azalea Inn and Gardens. We had a wonderful time there and would recomend it to anyone. The staff was great and the house was very cozy. The food and fellowship was very nice as well. There was not one request that Taresa and her staff acted as if they could not accomidate. Definately a place that we would go back to.

We spent our 30th wedding anniversary at the Azalea Inn and we could not have been any more pleased. The breakfasts were excellent. The wine and cheese in the afternoon were supurb. The homemade treats at night were fantastic and the sherry provided in the parlor all day was and added treat. The room and Inn itself were just what you would expect in the old South. We arrived at the Azalea Inn on Friday evening late, but everything was so organized. We were able to get into the inn without a problem and when we got to our room, we were shocked. It was so beautiful and made us feel right at home. Staying on the first floor, we awoke to the smell of fresh brewed coffee and when we arrived for breakfast, Teresa greeted us with such a warm welcome. We loved our visit. Teresa assisted us with tourism information, dinner accommodations and it was such a relaxing weekend. This was truly a wonderful place to stay, meet new friends and enjoy a historic city. Teresa, Jake, and Joey (the Yorkie) were right there to welcome us on Thanksgiving Day for dinner and a 3 day stay in Savannah. The food was fabulous. All the staff were very friendly and helpful in making reservations for us and suggesting things to do during our stay. Our room was just beautiful and the bed was extremely comfortable right down to the pillows and down comforter! The location for walking into "Old Town" was perfect, too. We've stayed in many B & B's, but this one ranks right up at the top of our list. We hope to return someday for a longer stay!

My husband and I visited the Azalea Inn and Gardens for Thanksgiving this year and it was a most memorable, awesome, fun-filled, delightful and delicious experience. We had never stayed at a Bed & Breakfast and we are afraid that Teresa, Jake and their staff have spoiled us so badly that no other Inn could fulfill our expectations so we definitely plan to return. The rooms are immaculate, restful and relaxing. We had a full house for Thanksgiving and the food was unbelievable home cooking and hospitality. We really enjoyed the breakfast time and evening "Happy Hour" with the other guests and Savannah is a beautiful city full of history and architecture to visit. Thank you Azalea Inn!!! My husband and I decided to take a little weekend trip down to Savannah to celebrate his safe return from Iraq. We are VERY glad we picked the Azalea Inn!! We visited the Azalea Inn and Gardens for my Wife's birthday weekend. The Inn was fantastic and the Teresa and the rest of the staff couldn't have been nicer. The room was very beautiful and comfortable. Everyone went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Even their adorable Dog Joey made sure our visit was wonderful. We would recommend it anyone and will most certainly stay there on our next visit to Savannah

My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary with a trip to Savannah. I wanted a special place to stay, and we were so happy that we chose the Azalea Inn and Gardens. Our room was beautiful and comfortable, and we had a lovely view of the gardens from our private balcony. The full breakfasts were delicious, and we enjoyed wine and hors d'oeuvre each evening before we went out to dinner, plus dessert and sherry when we returned to the inn. Teresa and the staff we so welcoming and helpful. The house is beautiful, and it was nice to stay in a quiet neighborhood in the Historic District. We were a short walk to the Riverfront and the city is very pedestrian friendly. One of the best parts of our stay was Joey, Teresa's 4 pound Yorkie dog who is the cutest, sweetest dog in Savannah! He greeted us each morning, and when we returned in the afternoons from our ventures, we took him into our room with us to relax. We will definitely stay at the Azalea Inn when we return to Savannah, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special bed and breakfast.

My husband and I met a dear friend in Savannah to celebrate her birthday. This was a first-time visit for my friend and I, and only the second visit for my husband. We could not have asked for a more perfect introduction to this beautiful city! Theresa made sure our stay was worry-free and comfortable, and also made sure this was a memorable birthday experience for our friend. The beds are super cozy -- the minute my head touched the pillow I was out for the night. The rooms are beautifully restored and no detail was overlooked. Our room had a fantastic balcony through a walk-out window (to be explained when you arrive!). A glass of sherry or cup of coffee or tea, afternoon sweets, and a wine-and-cheese hour all await in the beautiful parlor. The staff are friendly and helpful, ready to recommend a restaurant or call a cab or trolley for you whenever needed. The ultimate pleasure for me was to see Joey sleeping in the parlor in the morning -- I did not miss my dogs quite so much with this cutie in residence! And what a breakfast Theresa had waiting for us! We did not have a bad meal the whole weekend we were in Savannah, and Theresa's cooking rivaled that of any restaurant in town! Her warm and friendly personality just added to the enjoyment -- we could have spent the whole day just chatting with her. Even in November the garden is gorgeous. There was not one thing we could fault at the wonderful Azalea Inn and Gardens! We highly recommend this inn to anyone visiting Savannah and will definitely stay here again when we get back.

My wife & I were very impressed with the Azalea Inn and Gardens B&B! We we at the inn for several days, so we were able to enjoy the experience over an extended period. There was not a letdown in any area over our entire stay. This B&B provides all the amenities you would expect; great breakfasts, wine & cheese hour, complementary port wine in the parlor 24/7, complete room service, etc., but there is one item that is hard to find. That is the warm and welcoming attitude of the owners and staff. There wasn't any request that wasn't acted upon in a timely manner. No detail was to small in making our stay a seamless, relaxing experience. We were able to meet and interact with all the staff while enjoying our stay. This was another pleasant experience! Everyone one from the grounds keeper to inn and kitchen assistants were friendly and helpful. The location of the Azalea Inn is another wonderful plus. It is located in close proximity to Forsyth Park and close to the 'CAT Shuttle', a free all around transportation service. Overall, this was definitely a '10' experience!!! cor I don't think there was inn for .

We enjoyed ourselves immensely. The rooms were comfy, pretty and immaculate. Breakfast and afternoon snacks were delicious and plentiful. The owners are hands on and very friendly: as was all the staff. We would go back tomorrow if we could!

I stayed in Azalea Inn with my husband and friends. We stayed for a week and felt so at home. Teresa's (Innkeeper) personal service was so appreciated. We stayed in Magnolia which was a nice room with a lovely large balcony - so we could sit outside even when it rained! It was nice to meet up with other guests at breakfast or during the evening socilal hour. The food was excellent. The pool in the pretty garden was very welcome and kept beautifully clean encouraging us on one evening to use the onsite facilities and barbeque. Joey, the pet Yorkie, became a friend during our stay but our biggest thanks go to Teresa whose humour and friendly nature made our week complete.

My wife and I have visited the States from the UK on a number of occasions and until last year have always stayed in hotels. This then is only the second time that we have stayed in Inns but our experience at the Azalea has totally converted us to this type of accommodation. We loved the cosy intimacy which the Azalea provides along with the friendly personal attention which only a family run establishment can offer. The surroundings were gracious and comfortable and nothing seemed too much trouble for our genial host and innkeeper, Theresa. Breakfasts were excellent and home cooked and the rooms were characterful and well maintained. Being 'Brits' we particularly liked the fact that the communal dining gave us the chance to get the know a wide spectrum of Americans from all parts of the States and without exception we were made most welcome. By the time we left after a weeks stay we felt like one of the family and what higher praise can one give than that.

Beautiful inn totally rehabed. Lovely room. Gracious, well informed innkeeper. Delcious breakfast. Well located for easy access. Value for the dollar.

My husband and I stayed at the Azalea Inn in August of 2009 and we had the best experience. We were there on a couples retreat and we all had a blast. Theresa and her staff are so warm and friendly. You really feel like you are visiting family when you stay there. We loved our room. We loved meeting the other couples. We were in a GREAT spot to walk to everything. When we wanted to take a tour Theresa made those plans for us. They really go out of their way to make you want to come back. She has a cute liitle do named Joey who hangs out with you as well. We liked having the pool even though we never got in it. We had too much to do. When my friends had to leave early they packed a breakfast to go and cooked for us early since we were leaving a bit earlier too. I thought that was so sweet. We do plan on going back. Couldn't have had a better well needed get-a-way. Azalea Inn is charming, comfortable, and quiet. Sleeping in the comfortable bed made waking to a delicious breakfast a real treat.The staff is friendly, helpful, and makes wonderful recommendations for tours and dining.I would definitely recommend Azalea Inn to anyone who wants to experience Savannah.

Very nice B&B. It was out of the way, but everything is within a 20-minute walk in downtown. Breakfasts were splendidly prepared. Innkeeper Teresa and her dog Joey were welcoming and delightful.

My wife and I had our wedding at the Azalea Inn in July. We decided to have a small wedding, just the 2 of us. The Azalea Inn was the perfect setting. The Inn and its rooms are magnificent. The breakfast and desserts are ridiculously good! Teresa is a great host. There was a little rain during our ceremony and Teresa held an umbrella to keep us from getting wet. We had the ceremony in the garden area in the back of the Inn, it was beautiful. Top notch service, excellent food and rooms, highly recommended.

I thought nothing would top my previous Savannah inn experience, but my stay at the Azalea Inn was fabulous. Teresa creates a very warm yet professional atmosphere. The staff is a definite "touch of the South" -- friendly and charming. The rooms are modern and immaculately kept. And the Inn itself is beautiful. My friends and I enjoyed having a drink in the parlor while waiting to leave for dinner. The food was fabulous -- perhaps the best breakfasts I've had at a B&B. Teresa was also kind enough to send copies of the recipes to us.

Teresa created a tone of welcoming from our first phone call through our check-out. she clearly described the room my husband and I would share. Having the tiny veranda gave us a place to read outside.Although being beside the pool, it was not private at all. Loved having the pool. Sultry Savanna summers demand a place to refresh other than a shower. The two concerns about the room:Monitor size TV and very hard bed. Food great! Sitting family-style around one table allowed for meeting fellow travelers. Joey the tiny dog made the place feel even more like home.

Overall our stay was very enjoyable.The young lady greeting us was nice enough, but not dressed very professionally(drooping pants,etc.). Teresa was very hospitable, and we enjoyed talking with her. The breakfast was outstanding.The room was pleasant and the bed was very comfy. The only thing that turned us off was the thick layer of dust on the shelf where the wine glasses came from.

What a romantic location. The rooms were beautiful, the garden was the perfect site for the ceremony. Innkeepers Teresa and Jake were so welcoming. Breakfasts were fantastic.

The Azalea Inn is a very nice place to stay. A little off the beaten path, but nice and quiet. We enjoyed the company of the staff and Joey.

From the moment we arrived ( in the rain) to the moment we left(in the rain) & in between(in the rain) Teresa & Staff made our 40th Wedding Anniversary so special.We easily mingled with the other guests,or we didn't,whatever WE wanted to do,so relaxing. We especially enjoyed "joey",resident "King of the Inn" all 4 pounds of him,we missed our dog,so Joey visiting us was awesome. We'll be back.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and Azalea Inn. The service was great and the food was very good. We stayed in the Cotton Exchange room, and it far exceeded our expectation. They really do make your stay very personal, which makes your trip that much more special.

What a fantastic B&B. All the comforts of home, plus excellent food ( I gained 5 lbs.) beautiful gardens, antiques, and the cutest yorkies I have ever seen. Joey hung out with us. Thanks Teresa, Jake & Staff for making our visit so special! Can't wait to return!

The Innkeeper Teresa is a charm, very attentive and a wonderful story teller! The staff are friendly, courteous, and attentive. The Inn is spotless and our room was warm and comfortable with an outside sitting porch. The bed was very comfortable! The breakfast was delectible and beautifully presented. We met the nicest, friendliest guests and had wonderful conversation at the breakfast table. Azalea's mascot, Joe, is the most adorable and loveable 4.2lb yorke. My husband and I highly recommend the Azalea Inn!

My husband and I celebrated our Anniversary at Azelea Inn and Gardens. It couldn't thave been better. They helped me find the perfect restaurant, walking tour and day spa. Each morning of our stay we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast. The wine and cheese hour was good too, but my husband's favorite was the dessert they put out at night. The room was great, we enjoyed spending time on our balcony. Staying at the Azela Inn and Garden was as welcoming as staying with family. We cannot wait to get back.

My wife and I went to Azalea Inn to celebrate our 3 year anniversary and we had a blast. Teresa and the whole staff were awesome - very accommodating and it was a very cool place to stay. It had about everything you'd want in a B&B, and the food was amazing. Keep it up y'all!

Our first visit to Savannah was very enjoyable. Teresa, Cassandra, and Miss Betty made certain that all our needs and comforts were met beyond expectations. Our enjoyment of the friendly converstations with guests from Canada, England, and other parts of the United States during breakfast was surpassed only by the gourmet stlyle cooking prepared by Teresa. Our evening by the pool ,cooling off after touring the wonderful sights of Savannah ,was very refreashing. I especially enjoyed my time reading on the porch, with my favorite cigar and a glass of wine. My only problem now is that Jacki wants to acquire a Yorkie like "Joey" .

My husband and I both work two jobs and getting away is almost unheard of. Our one night stay at the Azalea took us to an enchanted time. We chatted with the guy raking the leaves and the girl preparing happy hour. I even napped on the front porch. We are back to reality now, but we'll be back to the Azalea some day!

Had a great 2 days stay with my wife. From drinking coffee on our own pouch to have nightly wine drinks with the guess-- It was outstanding. Received a military discount and the breakfest was great -- Will do it again

My girlfriend and I spent two great nights at Azealea Inn. The rooms were wonderful and the breakfast outstanding. The kitchen staff was very helpful in finding us places for dinner. Would definitely return.

We had a fabulous stay, it was really wonderful and will always be a special place for us since we got engaged there - I couldn't think of a better place! We were made to feel really welcome and was such a friendly environment to share our news!

We stayed three nights in the Cotton Exchange room. The room is even more lovely than the pictures on their website suggest, and we had fresh flowers in our room when we arrived. Teresa is a wonderful hostess and cook, and she made us feel very welcome. We definitely want to return again!

My husband and I stayed at the Azalea Inn for 2 nights following our downtown Savannah wedding. We stayed in the garden house, and the room was so cozy and luxurious. The bed was so comfortable and the whirlpool tub and gigantic shower head made us feel like royalty. Teresa brought us an amazing breakfast in bed. The only regrets I had were not spending more time at the Inn and enjoying the private garden and pool.

Our children gave us a stay at the Azalea Inn and Gardens for our anniversary. It was our first visit to Savannah. Teresa was so helpful in making dining suggesstions and reservations and in helping us secure transportation. The inn is well-located, within walking distance of what we wanted to see. The breakfasts were wonderful and the evening wine/cheese/sweets were great.

My new hubby and I stayed at the Azalea Inn for about a week. We loved it. The people were so nice and were very helpful with transportation questions and activity advice. Our stay in Savannah would not have been the same had we not stayed there. Not to mention the location was to die for!

What a wonderful place to stay and to be treated like Royalty. A sparkling bottle of wine in our room when we arrived made us feel so welcome. Everyone couldn't have been more hospitable. Highly recommended and on our list for a repeat visit.

This was a beautiful bed and breakfast to spend our anniversary. The food was wonderful and Teresa was so very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. She made us feel truly welcome. I would have loved to have stayed longer because we were actually relaxing and enjoying the peace and solitude of our room. This was our first trip to Savannah and we believe that the Azalea Inn made it truly wonderful!

we stayed in the cottage and it was great - lots of room to settle in. the breakfasts were terrific. staff was really helpful in making reservations, giving suggestions, and directions. we enjoyed our stay and will definitely return!

Nice quiet Inn, friendly people and guests. Rooms are cozy. Outside night lighting is expected but I would ask that the window shades be more substantial to allow for a dark room to sleep. I would return.

My friend and I were traveling to the East Coast to visit our children in college. After a hectic and fun stay in New York, the Azalea Inn and Savannah were the perfect antidote. Teresa was so friendly and informative, we had fabulous meals at restaurants she suggested. I will stay again!

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. The inn is nice, the staff is friendly and the food is delicious. The rooms are clean and the location isn't too far from the historic down town. The owners have a little dog who alone makes the stay there worth it.

We chose their Elopement Package and we are so glad we did! This was a second marriage for both of us and we wanted something romantic and intimate. We couldn't have asked for more than what the Azalea Inn provided. They helped direct us to a great photographer as well as preacher. The home was beautiful and Teresa was so helpful and supportive. Everything for our wedding day was perfect. The horse and carriage ride touring historic Savannah was a treat as well. And we sure did enjoy some fine eating! We will definately be back to celebrate anniversaries or just a weekend getaway.

The azalea inn and gardens is a great B and B on a quiet street, but within walking distance of Savannah's historical sites. The innkeepers were very friendly and helpful with suggestions for restaurants and activities. The grounds are beautiful and the back patio is an excellent place to relax your feet and visit after a long day. The food was very good, but portions were bigger than I usually like for my breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

Theresa couldn't have been a better host. She was a wealth of information, consistently cheerful, and went out of her way to help in everyway to make our stay memorable. The Azalea Inn and Gardens is lovely, the breakfasts are marvelous, and the afternoon and evening snacks were an especially welcome touch upon returning from a day of sightseeing in an around Savannah. The Inn also is convenient, within walking distance of everything, and it's free parking lot was an added treat.

We were visiting Savannah, because we love the city and our son was participating in a musical event. Our visit was perfect. The inn is beautiful and the attention we received was incredible. We were more than guests, we felt like we were in town to visit friends. We cannot say enough about our stay, and hope to return again very soon. Thank you. What a wonderful place to honeymoon! The rooms were very private (just what you need on your honeymoon)...Fresh flowers, soft sheets and the best food ever..Walking distance to everything. This was my first trip to Savannah and The Azalea Inn was a wonderful addition to all the fabulous history of Savannah. From the moment we walked in we knew we had made the right choice. Our room was a sheer delight, and the shower in the bathroom was the biggest and the nicest I've ever used bar none.The breakfasts were a gourmet treat.with the staff attending to our every need. Cookies & fruit bars when we returned in the middle of the day, wine, sherry ,treats were served before we left for dinner. We were pampered like royalty.The hardest thing to do was to leave. We'll be back.

What a wonderful experience. All too often, those of us who travel for business get to stay at the mega hotels and receive the same treatment, not necessarly bad, but not like home. The Azalea Inn is like coming home each day after a business trip. Warm, receptive, social and yet quiet and relaxing.
