We stayed here recently for my friend's wedding and it was amazing. We were they for 2 days and really enjoyed it. It rained the whole time but it was still beautiful. Jerry and Jim are awesome. They are so kind and everything was so well put together. The food was GREAT! Great little getaway for the weekend or a day for couples. Quiet, unbelievable views and great hospitality. Will go again soon.

Spa - Very relaxing and luxurious environment. After our "spa package" we relaxed for 30 minutes in the lounge area. Staff - Super friendly, helpful, and professional. When we asked for a picture, one of the owner's showed us about 5 different great picture spots. Food - Great taste and great presentation. Room - Fabulous and luxurious, yet comfortable. There was a great binder that explained things to do in the area and how the DVD player worked, etc... They also had a great current DVD collection at no charge. The shower had two shower heads and there was a towel heater. Overall, my best friend and I LOVED it and can't wait to go back with our husband's for a couple's weekend. I have been telling everyone about what a great time it was.

You can't find a better place to celebrate your anniversary. The food is great, the views are awesome and the hospitality is above and beyond!

This is the best B&B that we have ever had the pleasure to visit.The location is perfect with nice mountain and valley views from the rooms. The staff is very good, owners interact with you and will do whatever it takes to please you. The food is excellent. The grounds are well taken care of, flowers and plants everywhere.If you want a relaxing vacation, this is the spot.

We adored our short stay at Lucille's!! The B&B is beautiful, friendly and immaculately clean. The owners were super friendly and attentive! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with a beautiful view of the mountains and an unexpected March snow shower! We can't wait to go back and spend a long weekend here instead of a short one!!

When I think of an overnight stay in the North GA Mountains, I usually think "old smell log cabin-ish place or just plain old with southern (unhealthy) food. My fiancee and I were pleasantly surprised by the blend of new/modern touches blended with the kinds of traditional design and furnishings of most mountain retreats at Lucille's. They truly understand service and cleanliness and a delicious and creative breakfast. We plan to go back often.

Lucille's is by far our favorite place in the whole country to visit. My elderly mother and I travel regularly and I just booked our fourth trip to Lucille's in a year. Both of us love everything about this B&B. The staff make us feel like family, our room is immaculate, the food is perfect and the view is breathtaking.

My husband and I went for a weekend get a way and boy were we thrilled with the Inn. Jim and Jerry treat you like they have known you for a lifetime!! The Inn was immaculate down to the little touches of fresh flowers in the rooms. The size of the Inn was perfect so you can meet and relax with other guests. Breakfast wasAMAZING each morning and the evening dessert was just as good!! And Gracie,oh my, LOVE her!! We will be back to visit again!

Myself and my new husband spent the 2nd night of our honey moon here after driving a very long distance from New Orleans., La. where we were married. This B&B's location is secluded, private and very quiet...the perfect romantic getaway. We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious, welcoming home and hospitality, the extremely cozy and comfortable rooms, the delicious breakfast and the incredible view! Wow, this B&B is a gem and well kept secret. We will be returning for a visit soon!

This was our fourth trip in 13 months to Lucille's Mountain Top Inn and Spa and it is truly a special place for us. Although it has always been great, Jim and Jerry continue to make improvements that create an even better experience. Jason, Harkey, Dennis and Edward are excellent support staff and contribute a great deal to making this a great place to stay. Everyone does all they can to be helpful, and to make you feel welcome. Each breakfast and evening dessert was excellent. We really enjoy watching Gracie "work the room" during breakfast. Breathtaking views, beautiful facilities and outstanding people make this the only place we want to stay in North Georgia.

My wife and I celebrated our belated 42nd anniversary and had a great time. Everything was first class. We will certainly try and return in the future. The room, breakfasts and evening "goodies" will be remembered. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable.

Lucille's Mountaintop Inn and Spa exceeded out expectations. Clean, comfortable rooms. panoramic view of the mountains, excellent, friendly service and advice about where to go and where to eat, gourmet breakfast, convenient wonderful spa service. We highly recommend it to anyone who want to explore this gorgeous part of the North Georgia mountains.

We stayed at Lucille's Sept. 2012. We were pleasantly surprised by the clean, beautiful decor in the arts and crafts style--much nicer than the typical functionality of a newer hotel. The room was large, comfortably appointed and had a cozy little electric fireplace. The windows opened with cranks, so we cracked them to enjoy the cool mountain air. The king-sized bed was extremely comfortable. Nice little touches included the local ingredients in the handmade, healthy breakfasts, blankets in the living room for looking at the stars from the rocking chairs on the porch, and 24-7 access to fresh coffee, water, and snacks. The service was warm and friendly. This was our first visit to the area, and we discovered that there are many more things to do than simply visit Helen--local wineries, hiking and waterfalls, antiquing, and a delightful gristmill right down the road. We would highly recommend Lucille's and hope to be back to try the spa someday soon.

My husband and I stayed at Lucille's for a weekend getaway. The atmosphere exceeded our expectatioins. From check-in to check- out we were waited on with every need. The breakfast was wonderful and plenty of food with a great view overlooking the mountains. The owners went out of their way to make our stay one of the best ever. We will definetly be choosing Lucille's for our next weekend away, they made our first trip to Helen, GA a memorable trip.

This was the perfect blend between a mountain getaway and an upscale hotel and dining experience. The breakfast was great, the view was incredible, and the accomidations were very nice. I highly reccomed Lucille's. We will go again.

We have been going to B &B's for many years and this one is at the top of our list. We have stayed here numerous times and it just gets better and better. The owners truly provide outstanding service while making you feel welcome. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. The luxurious rooms, the new comfortable deck furniture, the unbeatable amazing views, the scrumptious breakfasts and evening desserts all contribute to a relaxing, rejuvinating experience that you will want to repeat as often as possible!

We wanted a nice romantic getaway for Easter weekend, so we went to Helen Ga for the weekend. Staying downtown Helen on Friday night and then staying at Lucille's on Saturday night. My girlfriend took advantage of the Spa services that they offered while I enjoyed the beautiful mountaintop view. We should have stayed at Lucille's for the entire weekend, very freindly staff and owners! Jerry & Jim made us feel very welcome at their Inn and we will be sure to tell all of our friends about this paradise. Biker Friendly! My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Lucille's. The owners, Jim and Jerry were so personable and helpful! The rooms were nice, and the views were beautiful. The food was delicious and everyone was great! It was a welcomed relaxing and peaceful weekend. The spa on-property was nice, and a convenient way to book massages (we did). Oh, and the desserts, set out every evening, were delicious. I really don't have anything negative to say about Lucille's. Make a reservation soon!

While I did not have the pleasure of meeting the previous owners, George & Lucille, I found myself enjoying a fresh cup of coffee in the crow’s nest. While the panoramic landscape was awakening around me, I enjoyed reading the logs and comments from previous guest. The elegance, grace and beauty of the property have only been enhanced by the new owners!

What an amazing B&B, first rate accomadations, owners who truly care about you, great meals and outstanding service. To say nothing of the views! Beautiful building decorated in the Mission Style, amazingly decorated rooms; some complete with fireplace, two person spa and large two head showers. There was nothing I didn't like about this Inn. Not too far from the big city, but plenty far enough away to be breathing in the fresh mountain air and seeing the milky way at night!

My husband and I had stayed once before, had a great time, but found out there were new owners and wanted to try again.... What an incredible little piece of heaven in North GA! Greeted with open arms, made to feel perfectly welcome, could not do enough for us! Room was perfect, loved the spa (great jets for sore muscles!), bed quite comfortable, breakfast was amazing! New flat screen TV, dish network, and enough of a movie selection to satisfy anyones tastes. Very well decorated in the Mission Style with a lot of beautiful wood. Good luck to you all, way to go!

This was our first visit and we only stayed one night, but we thoroughly enjoyed the Inn, it's staff and the breakfast. Everyone was so nice. The view was outstanding!!! The Inn felt so homey! It was nice to go at Christmastime and to be able to enjoy the decorations as well. All of the nice "little" touches such as fresh flowers in our room, German Chocolate Cake and Snickerdoodles in the evening made our stay especially nice. We will definitely be visiting again and would highly recommend the Inn to everyone!

This Inn is located in a beautiful setting with 360 degree mesmerizing mountain views. The rooms are spacious and nicely appointed with luxurious touches. The staff was wonderful and friendly! I can't wait to go back!

We bought a LivingSocial deal almost a year ago for Lucille's and I am kicking myself for not coming here sooner. Time was running out before our baby arrives and this was a great babymoon excursion. The whole staff was so warm and hospitable and the inn itself was gorgeous. The food was delicious and the ammenities were excellent, including the spa. The views were simply breathtaking and all just 1.5 hours from Atlanta. We'll be back someday soon!

We spent 1 night at Lucille's during Thanksgiving Week trip to the Sautee area. We found every aspect of the stay outstanding. The setting is quiet and stunningly beautiful. The "mountain top" in the name is not exaggeration... truly on the top and truly with vistas of the surrounding mountains and valleys. That night we felt like we could reach out and touch the stars through our window they seemed so close. The breakfast was delicious, too. The attentive service of the staff and Inn Keepers added to the charm of Lucille's. We intend to return soon.

The web sight does not do Lucillie's Mountain Top Inn justice. This succeed our expecations. The staff took care of every detail. We spent a lot of time on the deck just admiring the view. Lucille's is a place you want to spend time at. It is very relaxing, we will go again!

My husband and I booked a one night stay at Lucille's through LivingSocial to celebrate our anniversary. Even though we were only an hour and a half away from home we felt worlds away! The innkeepers and owners were all friendly and extremely helpful, the rooms were clean crisp and modern and thoroughly private. The surrounding views of the mountains were fabulous, especially with the last bit of color left in the leaves. We enjoyed a delicious slice of cake and tea upon our return from dinner (check out the local Nacoochee Grill-minutes away!) and had a great breakfast the following morning with the other two couples who had spent the night at the inn. There is also excellent hiking nearby! We will surely be returning to Lucille's and will recommend it to friends and family!

We stayed at Lucille's Mountaintop Inn & Spa for our 10-year anniversary and had such a wonderful time. The owners, who had recently purchased the B&B in September, were amazing, giving us a grand tour when we arrived. They were so very pleasant, hospitable and accommodating. Our room (#6) was perfect: great view, fireplace, jacuzzi tub, king-sized bed, and a few wonderfully selected books. The room and social areas were decorated stylishly, meticulously detailed and very comfortable. Loved sitting out on the expansive back porch, covered in blankets, sipping on warm apple cider and watching the stars. Breakfast the next morning was scrumptious and we both had several helpings. I can say the only bad thing about our stay was it was for only one night -- my mistake -- our next stay will be much longer. This is definitely our new get-away place.

A beautiful and well maintained B&B and Spa with spectacular views. I found this jewel in the mountains by accident and booked two days. I'm sorry that I hadn't consolidated my travel plans in order to stay longer. This establishment is under new ownership. The new owners and staff are naturally friendly and go out of their way to ensure the comfort and well being of their guests. My wife, who is exceptionally picky, thoroughly enjoyed her stay. Rooms, common areas and grounds are spotless. There also seems to be a natural comraderie amoung guests. This is an establishment where strangers become friends. I am planning a longer stay for my next vacation.

Lucille's was the perfect spot for our daughter's wedding. I don't think she could've chosen a better place. It can be a real challenge providing facilities & services for the wedding itself, let alone having the entire place filled with the wedding party, and the attention given to all of the guests went well beyond what was expected. Early morning coffee on the deck watching the sunrise was outstanding! Their attention to detail, and desire to provide the perfect surroundings was very much recognized and appreciated!

Gorgeous mountain views, southern hospitality and a tasty breakfast made our stay very pleasant. Will definitely go back for the spa treatments! Enjoyed the quaint shops, antiques & pottery nearby in the village. We plan to make this an annual fall visit. Thanks to the new owners & best of luck!

This bed and breakfast is located in wine country. It has a very serene and peaceful setting. There are many mountain towns close by to enjoy shopping and dining and hiking as well. The view is breathtaking. The breakfast was not only interesting but very tasty. Everybody was very pleasant This is a nice getaway. A little on the pricey side. Patunia Snow & Land Man

My husband and I spent our 17th anniversary here to have a weekend away. It is an absolutely beautiful place in beautiful country. The new owners could not have been more accomodating! They made us feel like we were family! There are great parks to hike near the inn, and wonderful restaurants. I also treated myself to a one hour massage that was heavenly! Just the scenery alone is worth the trip, but the southern hospitality was the tops! Thank you for a very memorable anniversary!

My husband and I recently celebrated out 39th wedding anniversary at Lucille's and it was perfect! We loved everything - the incredible view, the spacious patio, the secretive koi pond, the cleanliness of the room, the hardwood floors, the beautiful windows, the jacuzzi, the fireplace, the thick robes, the breakfast (thank you Lisa!) the movie selection - you name it! But the best part was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. It just so happened there was a big wedding that weekend also, and we were the only ones NOT there for it. But the new owners, Jim and Jerry, did everything in their power to make sure that we were comfortable and happy in the midst of all the busyness. A BIG thank you to ALL the staff who worked so hard to make sure our stay was the best!

This was my first B&B experience and it was awesome. The place was clean and inviting. The room was nice and relaxing and comfortable. I had no complaints only praise for the B&B and the staff. Everyone was nice and attentive. The view was breathtaking!! I will compare any b&b to this one. It will be hard to compete.

Lucille's Mountain Top Bed & Breakfast is beautiful and charming. The personnel, service, and rooms were great! The outstanding views from the property were breathtaking. We were gonna go hiking, but opted to just stay on the property for a couple hours instead to enjoy the magnificent view of God's creation!

We only stayed one night because we used a Living Social coupon that we purchased. But we booked another weekend to come back and stay the entire weekend because we truly loved it here! The owners are fabulous!! They took amazing care of us. The rooms are wonderful (I love the see through fireplace). The view is amazing and the public area is so welcoming. We had a great time staying up late with friends having dessert and playing cards. Thank you Lucille's for treating us so well. :)

Was a great, quick, relaxing getaway from the bustle of our regular nutty schedule. A quick drive and an oasis of relaxation. Definitely a hidden gem!

The Inkeepers, Lucille & George are wonderful hosts. Lucille's breakfasts are always the best and we always enjoy staying at her B & B.

We arrived July 31 and was warmly received, assigned to the honeymoon suite, and told a piece of chocolate cake was waiting for us. We felt welcomed. The host's recommendation for dining in nearby Helen turned out great and then we came back in time to get pictures of the sun setting over the mountains. Breakfast on the deck was a perfect setting for us with gormet treats and more than we could eat. We enjoyed conversation with Lucille, the kind of distinctive inn keepers we look for. We rated this property five stars as it is only 10 years old, everything was in good working condition, and the location is one of its kind.

Astounding views, wonderful breakfast, very relaxing & low-key. Multiple state/national parks and a pottery museum w/ folk art galleries that you can spend several hours viewing that is dedicated to GA potters & artists just down the road.

The view is amazaing. Very relaxing atmosphere. The spa was one of the best experiences I've ever had and I'm a regular spa goer.

I purchased a deal from Living Social to stay one night at Lucille's (to celebrate our 39th wedding anniversary with my husband). We were very happy with everything about the Inn, especially the great value we received for our "investment". The surroundings were spectacular, the food wonderful and our hosts were especially friendly and accommodating. A couple got married on the deck the afternoon we arrived. I watched the ceremony from our window on the 2nd floor. It was a beautiful site, and brought back memories of our wedding years ago. We highly recommend Lucille's Mountain Top Inn as a TOP of the LINE B&B!

The only problem was getting there. CALL (do not e-mail or MapQuest, or, according to their website, trust GPS) for turn-by-turn directions once you're in Sautee, or Helen, or thereabouts. But once clearing that frustration, everything was great and we hope to return for a long weekend (especially now that we know the secrets of actually getting there; but the firemen were nice who straightened us out!).

The best part about Lucille's is how relaxing it is. The views from the porch are outstanding. The innkeepers seemed genuinely interested in making our stay excellent. Food was great.

My husband and I stayed in room #9 which has the panoramic view and the view was great!! We experienced a sunset through a thunderstrom and fog rolling in that evening. The sunrise was spectacular too. We highly recommend staying at Lucille's Mountain Top Inn.

My husband and I found a deal on LivingSocial for this place and after some research decided to stay another night, we loved this B&B! We stayed during a hot part of the summer and it was great because of the trees and nice mountain breeze. The amenities, such as the fluffy robes, double shower, and nearby spa make this a romantic couple's getaway. Also, the breakfast served had to be some of the best recipes I've experienced. Overall, this will be a place we will revisit, next time in the fall!

Very clean. Not a typical B&B, a little more of a modern feel. Excellent breakfast.

We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed our visit. We were not overly impressed by the rooms nor the quality of the furnishings. Not bad, but not outstanding. The innkeepers were friendly (Bob & Barb) and helpful and the food was really good. Over all it seemed a bit expensive for the quality.

The bathroom floor was dirty in a couple of places. Also there was a coating of dust on the window sill in the bathroom. Learned that the Inn is 'For Sale'. The 'temporary' Innkeepers were very nice, accommodating, & helpful. Breakfast was good but not elaborate. We have stayed at many 'upscale' B&B Inns and based on past experiences I would say that this Inn is not a good value.

My wife and I stayed for one Saturday evening and it was simply delightful. This place is charming and you should plan on staying more than one night.

The view is spectacular on the back porch, so that's where we spent a lot of our time. Breakfasts were informal and very friendly with coffee provided even for early risers. We stayed in room 2 which was directly off the porch. That feature was nice for evening sunsets, but it did open to the main common area as well. I would certainly go again, but maybe try a more private-feeling room.

We had a lovely weekend at Lucille's. The view from the back deck was terrific and the weather happened to be perfect. Lucille's has a very nice breakfast with some of the best coffee I've ever had. If you ask they'll make dinner for you (we discovered that a little late, darn it all because it smelled fabulous). Lucille's offered us movies, popcorn and dessert too, that was a nice touch to end the evening.

The views from the porch and the rooms in this beautiful inn are just wonderful! It's worth the trip just for that. The innkeepers were very friendly and helpful (as was the fourlegged greeter Petunia), although breakfast, which was supposed to be between 8:30-9:45 was not ready until well after 9. Normally, that would not bother me very much while on vacation, but we had to leave rather early that morning, so we had to eat very quickly. The food was good, however.

Nice quaint place. Expected the service to be more friendly and accommodating. They did accomodate when we asked but not really friendly about it. Breakfast was decent but expected more. Overall though a nice place tucked away.

Impressed with the "little details" at this inn...snacks, drinks, dessert in the evening, great movie selection, towel warmer in bathroom, even a great makeup mirror with black washcloth! Room and bath both were good size. We'll definitely be back!

Lucille's Mountain Top Inn is a very peaceful, quiet retreat. You could not ask for a more serene and beautiful location. Our room was very clean with a beautiful view of the Georgia mountains. I highly recommend!

My favorite part of our short stay was breakfast out on the deck. It was a beautiful day, there was really good food, and the view was wonderful. It was such a peaceful way to start the day.

My fiance and I went to Lucille's for my birthday and had a superb time. We watched the sunset over the Georgia mountains, ordered some tasty look pizza to be delivered inn, savored delicious homemade mocha cake in our romantic suite courtesy of the B & B. Our jacuzzi and fireplace in the room on the 3rd floor were so cozy! Lots of cable channels, although we opted for a movie. Then we had great breakfast in the morning and followed it up with a hike around the complex. Highly Recommend!

You will never want to stay in a hotel after staying here. My husband and I stayed here one night to "get away" even though it was only a little over an hour away. We arrived in time to enjoy some of the best peanut butter cookies ever. We stayed in room #10 with an awesome view, double-sided gas fireplace, large Jacuzzi (very comfortable for 2) and separate shower for 2. FYI, the gas fireplace will really heat the room up. We wanted to have dinner in our room, but didn't make the request in time. FYI, if you want to enjoy dinner in your room, make sure you request at least 24hrs prior to arrival day. Debbie recommended the Nacoochee Grill, which is right outside of Helen. Wonderful food; we enjoyed the shrimp & grits and pork chops stuffed with crabmeat. Dessert was waiting for us when we came back from dinner and, of course, it was amazing. We didn't have time to do much with only staying one night, but there is a lot to do in the area and there is even a spa right next door to the B&B. Bring your appetite for breakfast. Debbie is an excellent cook and you will not be disappointed. My husband and I highly recommend Lucille's B&B. Thank you to Debbie and James for a wonderful stay.

Lucille's is a great place to stay and relax. The staff is very gracious and attentive. We will definitely stay here again when we head to Helen. Massage was wonderful, also.

My wife and I had a great stay at Lucille's. The room has a great view and the fireplace set the mood. Breakfast was great as well. The only complaint was there were lady bugs in the room.

We love Lucille's! This was our second visit! The room is always clean and fresh! The food is superb! and there is lots to do in the area!

We were pleased with our stay at Lucille's Inn. If you're looking for solitude and all around scenery; this is the place. Plus: friendly and very helpful staff; excellent accomodations (clean, jacuzzi, fireplace, robes); quiet, beautiful surroundings, good food. Minus: no elevator, we were on the 3rd floor; expect a travel of 5-10 miles to a restuarant or attactions. We will return.

My fiance and I stayed here for a night after buying a LivingSocial deal, and we really loved it. Unfortunately, it was raining the day we came so the view of the mountains was obscured a little by the fog, but it was still beautiful and our room was so nice. Dessert and breakfast were both delicious as well, and we enjoyed sitting by the fire in the lobby to read in the evening. Very cozy :) We'd definitely recommend Lucille's and plan on coming back in the future!

My husband and I went to Lucille's for a belated Valentine's Day weekend. When we arrived we were greeted immediately by Karen, who remembered speaking with me when I booked our reservation. She was friendly, helpful and made us feel at home. We went directly next door to the Mandala spa for massages. The spa was nice and the service was pretty good. It was great having the spa so close and convenient. The room was bigger and nicer than the pictures on the website and it was perfectly clean. We were very comfortable. Breakfast Sunday morning was wonderful! We loved the dill in the eggs and the oatmeal was delicious! Lucille's was easy to find and get to - very close to Helen which was fun. Overall we had a very relaxing weekend, and we will definitely go back.

We enjoyed our stay at the Lucille's Mountain Top Inn. This was our first time staying at the Inn. The view was breathtaking! The staff was friendly, the room was nice and spacious and the decor made us feel cozy and at home. The special valentine decorations in the dining room made it extra special for us to celebrate the Valentine's Day!

My wife and I really enjoyed our 1 night stay over Valentine's Day weekend. Time seemed to stand still on the Mountain. Very peaceful and serene. We are looking forward to returning and spending more time at the Inn.

We had a wonderful time and were pleasantly surprised to find the facility was even better than it appears online! The entire place is gorgeous and well kept. Debbit, one of the innkeepers, is a real gem! Great cook and gave us wonderful tips on activities and places to go/sites to see.

Stayed three nights at Lucille's and I loved it! The breakfasts are spectacular, I did not need to eat again until dinner! The staff is so friendly and they go out of their way to make your stay special, but they are not at all intrusive. The view from my room (#5) was incredible. You will not be disappointed! To top off your stay, walk next door to the Spa and get a massage....heavenly!!

I booked a one night stay with Lucille's last weekend (January 22nd) in one of their best rooms. The room was gorgeous! Beautiful mountain views, very clean and cozy, the jacuzzi bathtub was amazing. The staff was very professional and friendly. It seems that the community works together for business. We were reffered to a lovely little place for dinner and our server asked us all about Lucille and Debbie and if they had sent us. The breakfast was phenominal too! A wonderful place to stay-even just for a night. We will definitely return.

Beautiful 360 degree surroundings and a very warm welcome by Debbie the innkeeper. The rooms are very attractive and comfortable. We enjoyed coming in after dinner to find a delicious dessert and coffee or drinks waiting for us. As for breakfast it was far beyond expectations...homemade and delicious. It is away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Helen, yet close to some of the nicer restaurants. Also, close to many good hiking destinations which is what we like. What more could you ask for?

Oh my, how amazing this experience has been. I believe this was the most relaxing two nights Steve & I have spent away from home. The setting is magnificent, the mission architecture & ambiance is warm & comforting, the staff: Debbie & James are now friends, the bedding, robes & amenities are high quality without being pretentious, the food while half the B&B title could carry the place on that merit alone! Debbie, Chef & Ex.Dir. coddles her guests with homemade goodies & wise words. We arrived for a one night stay & booked a second night within the first hour!!!!

We loved Lucille's! Kevin and I wanted a short weekend getaway for New Years. I would not have picked any other place than Lucille's. We received "level 10" customer service the whole weekend. Debbie and James went out of there way to make our stay as perfect and easy for us as possible. The location is very peaceful and relaxing and still very close to Helen if you want to go into town. Also, the food was amazing. Breakfast in the morning and a desert in the evening. Everything was homemade and awesome. I would strongly recommend Lucille's Mountain Top Inn to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Helen area. You will not be disappointed. We can't wait to go back for Valentine's Day and many more times to come.

it was a little hard to find, but the room was great, great view! service and staff were great, very friendly. breakfast was just okay, didn't taste fresh, as though it was pre cooked and heated up. waffles were cold. egg souflee was good though, as well as the lemon cake the night we came in. Will return

We booked our stay for a wedding but ended up renewing our own marriage. We have recently had our first bundle of joy and needed this get away soo bad! It was amazing! I DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE!

Debbie and James are great innkeepers. They go above and beyond to make your stay relaxing. This was our third time and we will definitely go back.

This facility is beautiful architecture and the views are 2nd to none. The innkeepers were very accommodating and went out of the way to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfasts and evening desserts were so good I felt we were being spoiled. We'll be back sometime.

We first visited Lucille's in July. We enjoyed it so much that we went back in Nov. The room we stayed in you could take a bubble bath in the 6ft jacuzzi tub and look at see through fireplace. It was big enough for 2! The views from your windows or deck are breathtaking and the staff is amazing. They pay a lot of attention to small detail. It has the warmth of a home not a hotel. Wonderful!!

Our stay at Lucille's Mountain Top Inn was exactly what we were hoping for. In a beautiful location, the room was comfortable and roomy, the outdoor areas great for sitting and looking out from the mountain. Our hosts were very helpful and our breakfast was delicious. My fiancee and I were married here on June 25. It was an absolutely lovely ceremony on the wooden deck with the Blue Ridge mountains in the background. Everything was absolutely perfect (minister, cake, flowers, service). The room was fantastic and Debbie and her staff took care of all of our needs. Not to mention the great food! I thought the price was very reasonable for what you get and will definitely return for my 1st anniversary -- if not before. Thank you!!!

My wife and I were very pleased with our stay at Lucille's. We were particularly gratified by the excellent service and the kindness of the staff. The room was huge and well appointed-our only complaint was the bed was a bit squeaky. Breakfast was very nice and my wife even liked the coffee and she is picky about her coffee. The location is excellent, the views are spectacular and I would certainly recommend Lucille's to others looking for a nice bed and breakfast in the N. Ga mountains.

We stayed for my birthday weekend and it was great. We were lucky and got the room right off of the porch so we had a private entrance to the porch area which was a bonus. The view was gorgeous and we definitely picked the right time of year when the leaves were turning. Our room was very clean and I would visit again next year if we have the chance.

Lucille's is beautifully decorated, has a very peaceful atmosphere, and has outstanding views. The breakfasts are 5 star gourmet. I highly recommend Lucille's.

The first time I stayed at Lucille's I was on the edge of burn-out from months of overwork. Three days in the relaxed quiet of the inn and pampering at the spa really helped me find balance again! I go back frequently to reclaim the peace I found there. Debbie and James are always very welcoming and make each visit special.

Once you stay here, you'll want to find reasons to come back. Debbie & Jim, the inn keepers, are FANTASTIC!!!! Debbie is a GREAT chef, (I'm trying to imitate her scones) you'll want her to cook your every meal. I had a great week and will most certainly be back.

We had a wonderful stay. However, it was a bit more expensive and fewer amenities than I was expecting. Amazing views and close to town. Pricey spa next door.

I am very happy that this guest had a wonderful stay. I do apologize if they felt we were too pricey and didn't have the amenities they wanted. We do send an email confirmation stating exactly what the cost is BEFORE they come. I am not sure what other amenities they could have wanted. Every room comes with: bath robes, towel warmers, DVD/VCR, free movies and popcorn, DirectTV, fresh flowers, wine glasses, candles, an evening dessert, full gourmet breakfast, COMPLIMENTARY: bottled water, sodas, home-baked cookies, fresh fruit, M&M's, Chex Mix, Coffee & Organic Tea Bar, Cider, Hot Chocolate, Hand-Crafted Local Organic Soaps, bubble bath for the jacuzzi rooms, fully furnished library, board games, outdoor games (Badmitton,croquet, etc;) 5.5 wooded acres with a walking trail...and more. Maybe they were thinking we should have a gym and a pool or something??? Not sure. The Mandala spa is operated by an independent entity, and we don't have any say in what they charge.That being said, both the Inn and the Spa are certainly more high end than most places around, but our guest's usually don't mind paying just a little extra for the attention, service, and luxury amenities that we provide. We are close to town, but most people stay here for the quiet, calm and serentity instead of the crowds,traffic and noise in town. This place is a great value, especially during Oktoberfest. The Hampton Inn will be $49.00 more a night for a King room this year during that peak season time, but do not offer half of what we have. I hope this guest will consider coming back in the Winter season beginning Nov. 1st this year, and try the 3 for the price of 2 during the week that we offer year-round. These are the lowest rates all year and makes a jacuzzi suite average $120.00 a night for 3 nights!!

My Husband and I eloped in Georgia and decided to stay at Lucille's. The place was incredible! The view is breath taking and Lucille, George and her staff were all very nice and hospitable. We never imagined falling in love with a Bed & Breakfast, but it happened. The jaccuzi is remarkable and the food is so delicious and filling. We are already planning to return for our 1 year anniversary and plan to make it a tradition to visit!!

Wonderful place, beautiful view, friendly & warm. Only negative -- misquoted total price! We owed $60+ more than our quoted balance due. Big oversight!

My sweet husband gave me a wonderful, relaxing 4 night stay at this beautiful bed and breakfast for our anniversary this past June. I couldn’t have been more pleased. I couldn’t get over how beautiful the view is. George, Lucille and their 2 dogs were wonderful hosts and were willing to go above and beyond to make us comfortable. They offer breakfast in bed for an additional fee…which my husband had them do for me on our actual anniversary date. The ladies that brought my food in were extremely nice and very personable. We spent most of our mornings on the beautiful back porch with our cup of coffee and the wonderful homemade breakfast made by Lucille. We took a short hike on the small wooden trail around the Inn. We traveled through the mountains of Nacooche Valley and into Helen and down the Georgia Wine Highway and enjoyed lots of good food. We returned at sundown to sit on the back porch for the sunset and a light dessert made by Lucille. And you can’t go to Lucille’s without scheduling an appointment at Mandala Wellness and Retreat Spa. This Georgia Bed and Breakfast comes highly recommended by me. We WILL be visiting again!

This is a great to place to just relax and enjoy. We have stayed twice now and could not be more pleased. From the courtesy and accommodating owners to helpful staff - it is great. The rooms are clean, well-equipped and the views are outstanding. The full breakfast is delicious and filling and the nightly dessert well-worth saving room for. The beds are also extremely comfortable and privacy of the guests is well-repected. You can't go wrong staying here.

Lucille's is the best place to stay in the North GA Mountains. The views are amazing, and George and Lucille take care of anything you need. The gourmet breakfasts are also very tasty. The rooms have nice accents like jacuzzi tubs and see-through fireplaces. We were married here in 2007 and continue to return for romantic weekend getaways!

The location makes this one perfect. Set on top of a hill, the views are to die for. Breakfast was great and the inn is gorgeous, highly recommend it!
