Nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, Rising Fawn, Georgia and the General Woods Inn are the perfect place for your next weekend getaway. This antebellum style mansion has all the modern amenities such as wireless internet, in room color television/VCR/DVD, refrigerator, walk in closets, and plush bedding. However, despite being located only twenty minutes from downtown Chattanooga, the General Woods Inn has an ambience of the slow style of a bygone era.

My husband, son and I stayed at the B&B in July. It was awesome. I told my husband I would be spoiled to staying at B&Bs now. Nadine was great. She is an awesom hostess. We felt very comfortable. I would encourage anyone that was going to that area to stay there. We went to Chattanoga a couple of days while we were there and it was definitely close enough to drive. We hope to go back again.
