Henderson Village

A wonderful weekend spent at Henderson Village, the room was just as advertised with the feel of an old souther plantation house. The atmosphere is ideal if you are loooking for an out of the way place to just unwind and enjoy. No stress with quiet evenings on the porch and great food at the Langston House restaurant. I would definitely reccomend a stay but next time maybe mine will be for a week instead of a weekend. Totally enjoyable and I would love to try the hunting packages offered time permitting on my next stay.

The next time you visit Georgia leave the crowds of Atlanta behind and head for the town of Perry. At Henderson Village you will find quiet surroundings, grounds to stroll on, large front porches with wicker furniture that has oversized cushions for reading or just relaxing. The rooms are beautifully decorated with all the charm the south offers yet this country inn is very casual. Craig and Nannette are always there to insure your stay is all you expected. This is an Inn we will definately visit again.

It was a cold day...but we came in early Nov. Would like to come back in the summer time. Great facilities.

Having stayed here several times but not in the last 3 years, I was disappointed to see that the place has lost it's lustre. The rooms/cabins need a facelift badly. Broken shutters, peeling wooden furniture, faded curtains... I still absolutely love the place but now I know why it's 3 instead of 4 stars. Our cabin was just "tired"...towels should probably be replaced, brass fixtures need attention, etc. - it could be so much more as the setting is so wonderful and the restaurant is still lovely - great service and food.

Excellent experience. Even though we were there in an off period, we received excellent service. We would repeat the visit for the restuarant alone.

I paid in the low hundreds for this room and the price was just about right for the quality of room and service received. Let me preface any negative remarks with the following: the concept is delightful, the grounds were charming and the restaurant service and food well thought out and executed. However, I waited nearly 15 minutes by myself in the "lobby" to check in (having to finally retrieve a staff person from the next building), there was coffee supplies but no coffeemaker in my room and no washcloths in the bathroom. The toiletries provided were about on par with a Day's Inn. The furnishings and over all interior design were what I would expect, but the walls, etc. were showing a distinct lack of maintenance that went beyond "authentically distressed." In summation, I am satisfied with the price I paid and would probably stay here again. But only if other business brought me to the Perry-area and I could book the room at a similar price.

Lovely setting, we enjoyed our stop over stay very much. And the restaurant was a real find.

We discovered this lovely facility by accident when we stayed at Warner Robbins and wanted a great dinner out. The restaurant is so charming. It is essentially a glassed in porch and it looks out on a wooded lawn which is very pretty and restful. We watched the squirrels cavorting during dinner. Dinner was fabulous, as was the breakfast the next morning. We decided to stay at the Inn the next time we drove that way, along with another great dinner. We now make it a point to stay every time we drive in that direction.

We visited Henderson Village for the first time, We travel on I-75 about twice a year and had never heard about this place, a friend of ours continued to tell us about this place and that we needed to stay, we decided to stop and we had the most wonderful time every, The Langston House Restaurant was wonderful!!! We had breakfast served to our room and that was one of the best treats ever! We will be coming back!

Henderson Village is a great place to stay in Perry, GA. Not just a hotel, but a unique experience. In addition to the hotel accomodations, you'll find an excellent restaurant, beautifully landscaped grounds, a pool and a gracious friendly staff.

I loved staying in one of the restored tenant houses arranged in a village-type setting. Each one is tastefully decorated and evokes a sense of charm. The grounds are lovely, the hospitality is gracious, and breakfast is superb. Dinner is also available at this inn and is always outstanding. I have stayed here twice, and each experience was a memorable one.
