The Bordeaux Suite, our most luxurious room, has a king sized French latex mattress and elegant velvet and silk linens as well as unforgettable sheets from Portugal. There is a table for two and a fainting sofa in the room. Breakfast can be brought on a tea cart to your room for a romantic morning. This is the Bordeaux Suite bathroom and dressing area, with a bathtub that has a shower feature also.
Eileen Randman-Owner of Maison LaVigne & Hotel Ritz Ecole Escoffier Paris Trained Chef in the kitchen where you can take breakfast or have a hands-on culinary lesson. The Provence Queen Suite is the house favorite with a queen sized bed fitted with linens and curtains I brought home from the street markets in France. There is a table for two and a comfy little ottoman. This suite is located on the second floor, across from a petite exercise room with a recumbent bicycle, free weights and dry sauna; and has access to a private sitting and dining area.
The Provence Suite bathroom with a clawfooted bathtub and a Sunflower Shower has delicate curtains from France and hand-cut Italian tile.Yes, this is me, Eileen Randman, owner of Maison LaVigne and Paris Trained Chef. You know it's a woman's prerogative to change her look and so many people say I am different than my original photo in the kitchen that I thought I'd better add an update. A Bientot a Maison LaVigne, Bon Appetit! Eileen - Chef to Anyone who wants to eat!
The Alsace Queen Suite is located just inside the front door of the Maison and is able to be completely "blacked" out for those needing repose. There is a small desk for working and of the course the whole house has wi-fi.A "pillow" viewpoint of the Alsace Suite, which some claim has the best bed in the house. The luxurious Simmons Beautyrest bed has cutwork lace curtain accents on a canopy bed. The white sparkling tile bathroom has a shower feature only. A romantic table for two can be set up for a cozy dinner or breakfast in the room. You can request cappuccino in the morning, served with silver spoons and sugar from England, brought to your room on a little silver tray and wake up slowly.
A Table of Friends Dinner at my favorite winery in Napa, Casa Nuestra, (I'm taking the photo so you can't see me), where I cooked Veal Scallopini Marsala on a three burner electric stove top after we pounded the veal with wine bottles. You never can tell where I will end up cooking! I belong to their wine club, so you might get a glass when you visit the Maison; it's the best European style wine I ever had outside of France.
