About

Come back to a time when "cotton was king" and living was gracious and easy. Picture yourself among the guests that often promenaded around the block and later gathered in the ballroom of the Page House to enjoy dancing and musical performances. Such was the way of life for the residents of homes on Bellevue Avenue. Locals refer to these homes on "Millionaire's Row" as the "mansions that cotton built." The Page House is located in the heart of the historic district at the corner of Bellevue Avenue and Elm Street. It is next to the Laurens County Library within walking distance from parks and recreation facilities, churches, banks, and a post office. A stroll under the tree shaded streets will take you to antique and gift shops. Downtown is just four blocks away, with plenty of shops, Theatre Dublin, and the Laurens County Historical Society and Museum. Walking tours are available.

Thanksgiving Visit

5 on December 01, 2014

Our first stay at a B&B. After 30years of traveling and staying in Hotels, wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. This house was beautiful and the room was very pleasant with civil war artifacts on the wall. Breakfast was good ole country style with some of the best grits that I've had....& I've been eating grits for a long time.

We Will Be Back!

5 on November 19, 2014

Outstanding accommodation! Gracious Southern hospitality, a true architectural gem, delightful host/hostess, delicious breakfast . . . all well served. The owner even assisted us with our luggage on a late evening arrival. We will be back! Thank you Kelly and Janice for sharing your home with us. Steve and Jackie Arthur, Nashville, Tennessee

Delightful Hospitality in Dublin

4.2 on October 16, 2014

The Canadys were most hospitable. We were warmly greeted and personally welcomed, even though we arrived late at night. Although the bed and breakfast was fully occupied, the Page House provided us with a very quiet, private environment. We highly recommend it.

Beautiful B&B

This is the nicest B&B I ever stay at. The owners made you feel right at home and were very accommodating. There was coffee available before breakfast, a delicious breakfast and snacks, soft drinks & water were set out for guest convenience. It's a must stay while in Dublin!

Bill and Janelle Lovette are very dear personal friends and benevolent friends of the community. We chose to honor them by naming this room the "Lovette Suite". This room is often used by newlyweds as the "HoneyMoon Suite". This seems very appropriate since Bill and Janelle married the night of their very first blind date! A kitchentte has a sink, small refrigerator, microwave, and dining table. Breakfast can be served in the suite if the guests choose private dining. #6 - Lila Moore Keen Room

Lila Moore Keen was raised in Dublin where she developed her artistic talents. Stories of her younger days tell how she would sit in neighboring yards and paint pictures of live flowers. She grew to be respected in the art world and had art showings in famous museums in New York and Washington, DC. She was honored with the title "Lady of the Camellia's" for her accurate portrayal of these beautiful Southern flowers. The Dublin-Laurens Museum contains the largest collection of her private works. The Keen Room features a queen-size bed, private bathroom with shower, cable TV, Wireless and dial-up computer connection, writing desk, ceiling fan, and antique amenities, including some of her artwork. Located on the second floor.

  • Maximum Capacity: 3

#4 - Balcony Room

The "Room of Honor" is renamed every year for someone living in our community that has made a significant contribution to Dublin's history. We enjoy the privilege of selecting honorees and presenting them with a name plate that is secured above the door entrance for the following year. The Balcony Room appropriately refers to the private balcony that is accessed from the bedroom. This is a choice room during pleasant weather, where the guests can enjoy sitting on the outdoor furniture under the shade of a deck umbrella. This room features a queen-size bed, a private bath with tub/shower, cable TV, Wireless and dial-up computer connection, writing desk, ceiling fan, and antique amenities. Located on the second floor.

  • Maximum Capacity: 2

#2 - Capt. Hardy B. Smith Room

Captain Hardy Smith was a resident of Dublin and served in the Civil War. Built in 1873, his home in Dublin is the oldest residence on it's original location. It is currently being restored as a museum for all war veterans of Laurens County. The room is decorated with civil war memorabilia and features a queen-size bed, private bath with shower, cable TV, Wireless and dial-up computer connection, writing desk, walk-in closet, ceiling fan, and antique amenities.
