Mileybright Farmhouse
Historic Mileybright Farmhouse is located in Decatur, GA, seven miles east of Atlanta. A one, two or three bedroom apartment, or private bedrooms, will accommodate families, couples or single travelers. A little bit of country in the city - with the sounds of birds, tree frogs, and cicadas heard from the veranda.
Built in 1900 by Judge John S. Candler as his country gentleman's dairy farm. The home is sensitively restored to a bygone era. The apartment has a casual living room with gaslog fireplace, satillite TV, WiFi, full kitchen with dishwasher and washer/dryer, bedrooms with king, queen or double bed, 11-foot ceilings, heart pine floors, hand-painted sink and tiled vanity, tiled shower/tub, private porch and outdoor spa tub. Comfortable 1930's decor. Self-catered breakfast and snacks provided in your kitchen.
Downstairs guest room has a massive solid rosewood king bed, romantic gas fireplace, WiFi, loveseat and chair. Private bath in the hall with vintage clawfoot tub and shower. Breakfast is continental and served at guests leasure in the hosts kitchen.
Upstairs guest room has antique mahogany queen bed, fireplace, satillite TV, WiFi, private bathroom with shower, and terrace overlooking the gardens. Breakfast is continental and served at guests leasure in the hosts kitchen.
