King-Keith House

It was our first visit to Atlanta. The Inman Park area is beautiful and what a wonderful place to stay. We couldn't have asked for more gracious hosts or better accommodations. The breakfast was yummy and the conversation was exceptional.

I had a very pleasant stay (2weeks) in Windel's room. This Victorian house incredibly furnished is located in Inman Park that has many good places to enjoy free time. Not fare from Atlanta downtown. Charming & with character.

Thank you Windell for the great breakfasts and interesting chats. A beautiful home, in an historic leafy neighbourhood, close to great restaurants and transport to town....what more would you want????

We found something new to admire each time we entered the house. The furnishings were charming. Each day, at breakfast, the Innkeeper (Windell) told us about the area and some of the history of Atlanta. Coffee was served each morning before breakfast and breakfast itself was a good selection of fruit, cereal, toast, cake and anything cooked was also on offer. By and large it was a 'feel good' break in a beautiful house.l

Great B&B! Loved everything about it. The cottage is delightful.

It was like taking a step back in history - the tiffany lamps were exquisite - as were the period pictures on the walls. The host was delightful. The room was very spacious and very comfortable.

We always stay at the King Keith when we get the chance. Lovely old house, great breakfast and good company!

Our stay in Atlanta in one of the oldest houses of its first suburb was quite nice. The house by itself is amazing and Windell is a great host. I travelled with my parents and we decided to get the 1st floor suite. The rooms were filled with antiques and it looked just gorgeous. Only disappointment was that we had to share the restroom through one of the bedrooms. Windell gave as amazing tipps for visiting Atlanta. If you're a fan of antique houses and furniture that's the perfect place for you.

A beautiful, friendly, quiet place in a beautiful neighborhood. The owners were really helpful and charmed our socks off.

We've stayed at B&B's across the U.S. and abroad and have never had a better experience. Windell went above and beyond to provide a warm welcome and excellent directions and information on sights of interest to us. Since we, too, love antiques he took the time to share his collection and answer our questions on the Victorian pieces that fill his home.

The King-Keith House is fantastic, in a beautiful neighborhood (Victorian homes, pristine yards, city parks galore, clean streets,....), close to downtown, within walking distance of dining and shopping, and within walking distance of MARTA. The furnishings are exquisite. Jan and Windell are experts in not only the local knowledge but ATlanta history as well. Plus, Windell is a gourmet cook. We've already made reservations to return for the Inman Park Festival. Need I say more?

Grand historic home with great hospitality. Many great sitting porches and lovely gardens. Innkeeper makes you feel very welcome. Rooms are superbly decorated.

Wendell, innkeeper, was quite professional in handling all matters of our stay. He showed care and concern for the needs of his guests. He accomodated our schedule during our 3 night stay. It was pleasant chatting with him.

Attention to details and choices. Exceptionally clean and quiet. Plenty of space for relaxing. Very interesting collections and decor- Atlanta is not all "Gone with the wind". A piece of history survives!

We met old friends at the King-Keith House B & B and we were all really pleased with the great service. The place is huge, nicely decorated to period, and he strives to make the stay a comfortable and memorable one. There is a kitchen with sodas, snacks, wine, etc. Also, he takes each person's order at breakfast with good options. You will not leave hungry, and it is as good as any restaurant. We would stay there again, without question. He will also be happy to give directions to any part of the city, as well as what is good to see. The B & B is about 20 minutes from the airport and very close to the downtown area.

Another comfortable stay in this oasis of victoriana. Easy to recommend and shall return.

We arrived at this stately Victorian manor after a 20 minute ride from the airport on the MARTA subway train. Inman Park station is a block to the east or this B&B. It’s an easy walk even with luggage. Had we called the innkeeper they would have come to pick us up, but the turn-of- the century neighbourhood is safe and fascinating to walk; rich in natural beauty. We felt comfortable and welcomed at this special Inn. The home is well maintained, clean and I found the furniture and curiosities decorating the walls fascinating! Fresh flowers were at the centre of the dining table as well as our room. The rooms are large with high ceilings and equally well appointed with linen, period drapery and a bathroom rich in architectural detail both quaint and modern. Breakfast consisted of fresh cut fruit, hot muffins, pancakes and lots of coffee. It was an exquisite setting each morning. The spacious front veranda and back screened in porch were ideal for sipping wine where our host recounted colourful local history. Our host was generous and well informed in architectural matters. The King – Keith is hosted by generous keepers who show a passion for sharing the graces of their refined home.

The owner went out of his way to accommodate me during my stay. Above and beyond what the average innkeeper will do; pick up at the MARTA station and rides to various nearby attractions.

my husband and i stayed in the cottage this past weekend and what a delighful place to lay your head at night. It was just what we needed to get away from all the rush life brings on a every day basis. we will be back, when you get a chance you need to visit, and please walk thru the back yard garden, it is most definitly a sight to behold. thank you for a unforgettable weekend.
