My mother and I stayed two nights and wish we would've stayed longer! Everything was wonderful. It was clean, relaxing, breakfast was outstanding, just a great choice. Can't wait to go back.

Our stay exceeded any expectations! The inn is absolutely lovely & quaint with it's sprawling Veranda, comfortable light & airy rooms filled with antiques, cozy "Southern Living" style kitchen, swimming pool & welcoming gardens. And, the FOOD, oh my! They should pen their own recipe book! We're not even back home yet & I already miss the staff. Truly, an amazing experience, you won't be disappointed!

Our most recent trip to Tybee Is. include a stay at Surf Song. The house is magnificent, the breakfasts filling and tasty and the staff great. The furnishings are period to the house, all top quality. We really felt "at home". Attention to detail is the key. The location is quiet. Being an early riser I started the coffee and felt like it was my kitchen. The room was a bit small but other aspects more than make up for this. I highly recommend Surf Song.

Wow - can't wait to go back ~ this is the most beautiful B&B ever...and so historical! The owners were as sweet and kind as ever. I highly recommend you spending your vacation at Surf Song. The Starfish room is huge and we enjoyed opening the windows on a beautiful December day and feeling the ocean breeze in the room. It has all the amenities you could imagine. You just have to see for yourself - 'this is the place for you!'

I returned to Tybee for the weekend of Jane Coslick's Holiday Cottage tour and chose Surf Song for the first time and it's definitely the BEST Tybee B and B! Sherry and Cindy are warm, welcoming hosts (and helpful when needed) and Patty cooks divine, flavorful and filling breakfasts not to mention afternoon "snacks" like banana cake or brownies. Seashell room had lovely bedding, REALLY comfy bed and good-sized (2 vanities) bathroom as well. Their location is perfect - gorgeous old home with on-site pool and just a short walk to non-crowded North Beach and short drive/bike ride to "downtown". Can't wait to go back.

My husband and I celebrated my 50th birthday at Surf Song. The trip was perfect! It was our first visit to Tybee Island and our first stay at a Bed and Breakfast. We fell in love with both! The room was so nice and comfortable. The house was fabulous! I spent one afternoon at the brand new swimming pool and one afternoon at the secluded, beautiful beach. Sherry had a yummy afternoon snack for us each day and dessert in the evenings. Breakfast was so delicious! She even shared her Breakfast Casserole recipe. This was the best birthday ever thanks to Surf Song! We will definitely be back:) Thanks Sherry for a wonderful time! Dale and MIchael from Canton GA!

My Mom and I stayed at Surf Song 9/3-9/5/13 to celebrate her birthday. This was the first time she and I got away just the two of us. What a wonderful experience! From booking with Sherry to checking in with Cindy and visiting in the kitchen with Patty! They all just made you feel so welcome. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The breakfast was delicious. The pool was just the right temp after a long day walking in Savannah. I look forward to a return visit!
It was our pleasure having you with us! Look forward to your return!

After spending a day on beautiful Tybee Island a few years back, my goal was to return with family. Selecting Surf Song as our home for the week is what made this stay more than special. The new owner and staff were warm and friendly and went beyond our expectations in helping to meet our special needs. We felt we were with friends. The home itself is beautiful inside and a joy to be in. Our room was clean and comfy. The homemade breakfasts were tasty. The landscaped grounds and the wrap around porch provide a peaceful setting. Our activities on the Island included swimming in Surf Song’s new pool each day, going for walks on the private beach which is just a blocks walk away, and kayaking with dolphins swimming around us. We also toured the light house to see the Island view from the top and did a sunset boat ride. I know we will be returning to Surf Song with more family and friends in tow... I would love others to experience Surf Song as part of the culture of Tybee Island.

This was my first trip to Tybee Island and first experience with a bed and breakfast. Upon arriving to the house we were greeted on the porch with a handshake and smile from one of the owners. Checking in was easy and the rooms are just as beautiful in person as they are on the website. What you see is what you get at Surf Song, the absolute best. The property is one block away from the beach. Forget your beach towels? No worries, because they have plenty if needed. Forget something? No worries, because they may have it on hand or will be very helpful in ensuring that you have everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. An afternoon snack and evening snack/dessert is provided, including a glass of wine. This is all included in the room rate. How awesome is that? Totally awesome! Oh my gosh, the breakfast. The BREAKFAST! It is served between 0800-1000. Just let them know what time you will be down and they prepare it, while you are sitting at the breakfast bar. This is also included in the room rate. Coffee and an assortment of juices are provided. There is private pool and garden on the property as well. There is a restaurant within walking distance which usually has live music in the evenings and the food is good as well. I only mention that, because once you get to this place you will not want to leave. As mentioned before we were greeted with handshakes, but as we were preparing to leave we received farewell hugs. Staying at Surf Song was truly like spending the weekend at your favorite cousin's or aunt's house

Ths Surf Song B&B is a total makeover of the former Savannah Beach Inn. Every room has been tastefully redecorated (with very comfortable Temperpedic mattresses I might add) and a complete kitchen makeover was completed. A very nice pool was added to the property that I used to take a dip after my early morning runs. The new owner and staff were very hospitable, friendly and knowledgeable. A full breakfast was served each morning that never left me hungry and afternoon wine and snacks were great! The secret of this B&B is their private access and proximity to the beach (right across the street) on the quiet end of the island. While most everyone else is fighting crowds on the other end you can be riding the waves on your raft with relatively few other vacationers. We believe that this B&B has a very bright future. Thanks Cindy and Patty for a great experience! Tom and Martina
Tom and Martina, It was a delight having you stay with us at the Inn. We look forward to your next visit! Cindy

My husband and I stulmbled upon one of the greatest finds, EVER! We were blessed to be able to stay with Cindy and Sherry this past Monday. We were ready to return home from Tybee because we did not have a place to stay, when we drove by and saw the sign on the house. We decided to see if a room was available and luckily we were welcomed with open arms. Everything was so clean and pretty to look at! The bed was amazing and we both had a great nights sleep. We were sad to leave but know that we will be returning in September for our anniversary. If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy Tybee, you will not go wrong when you book a stay at Surf Song!
Terri, WE were so glad you found us! Can't wait until your next visit in September!
