The Inn at Magnolia Oaks is Open! North Georgia's most romantic bed-and-breakfast is located just minutes from Dahlonega, Gainesville, and Helen, the Inn is in the middle of everything in the northeast Georgia mountains. Four beautifully decorated guest suites provide elegant accommodations and unsurpassed guest services. Heirloom antiques, luxury linens, heavenly beds and glowing fireplaces all add to the ambiance of another time. Filled with family history, the Inn itself is a replica of the owner's grandparents' homeplace. Spend the weekend touring waterfalls or wineries or just browsing through antique shops. Innkeepers Description:
Terry and Marie Dawson are anticipating retirement from their most recent careers in real estate appraisal and education to spend time working together on the things they enjoy most - decorating, gardening, cooking, and most of all, entertaining. Terry is an avid Alabama football fan and enjoys collecting local art. Marie is the family historian and loves being as Southern as possible.

The Inn's specialty for breakfast was created by Innkeeper Marie Dawson. Toasted tea biscuits are topped with creamed chipped beef (made with fresh milk from a local creamery) and a pyramid of chopped hard-boiled eggs in the center. When garnished with fresh spinach leaves, the plate resembles the magnolias out front. Beautiful and delicious!
