5 out of 5Romantic Getaway
October 23, 2012
We were fortunate enough to have stayed at the Inn at Magnolia Oaks a few weeks ago. It was the first B&B experience for my wife and I, and we were blown away. Terry and Marie were so welcoming, friendly and attentive. The house is so beautiful and it has a magnificent Anti-Bellum feel, with the huge white columns in front with a beautiful porch and swing that my wife and I wish we had more time to enjoy. Inside is just as gorgeous, the attention to detail is amazing; each room was so well done…very romantic. It’s also a short drive into Dahlonega. We felt so welcome, and so at home (I wish our home were as nice,) we would go back in a heartbeat. My only complaint is that we only had one night to spend there, and we are talking about a return visit, but next time it must be for at least 2 nights!

Cindy and I wanted a special weekend to celebrate our 29 years of marriage. The Inn at Magnolia Oaks was the perfect place to get away and enjoy the charm and hospitality of the finest host and hostess we've met. Terry and Marie make you feel more like a guest than a customer. The decor and attention to detail are unmatched. We look forward to our next opportunity to visit the Inn again.

The Inn at Magnolia Oaks is an absolute gem. The house itself is spectacular and the southern hospitality is equally exemplary. My wife and I completed a wonderful day of wine tours with an evening at the Magnolia Oaks...just awesome! Thanks Marie and Terry.
5 out of 5A great place to spend out wedding night
August 04, 2012
Sue and I want to thank you for your gracious hospitality on our wedding night. We arrived truly worn out after several days of planning, entertaining out-of-town guests, and simply enjoying a wondrous wedding and reception. Terry and Marie, you provided a warm, recuperative environment that almost immediately brought Sue and me back from a state of exhaustion. Not only is your home beautiful and elegant, but Sue and I were delighted to have spent the evening talking with you. The next day, as we were leaving, Sue commented that we had just made new friends. So, thank you again. We plan to return as guests, but also just for a friendly visit. We recommend to all friends and family that, when in the North Georgia area, stay with Terry and Marie at the Magnolia Oaks B & B God bless. John & Susan Ingrisano

5 out of 5Evidence of a Passion!
July 16, 2012
This past week-end was a wonderful experience being with a couple who have such a passion for serving others with true hospitality! The Inn at Magnolia Oaks is the most awesome B&B because of the owners, Terry and Marie. The furnishings, the attention to detail, and the gourmet three-course breakfast's were all 'over-the-top'. We enjoyed some local attractions, such as antique stores, old general stores, wineries, great dining places, the mountain views, and outlet mall. Dahlonega, Gainsville, Sautee, Helen, Cleveland, and Dawsonville are all within a 25 minute drive. However, the afternoon parlor or porch visits with Terry and Marie made us feel like we were with our best friends back home. We had as much private time as we desired, but looked forward to our visits with them. If you are looking for a romantic getaway, or if you need accommodations during football weekends, this is close to Athens and Atlanta also. My wife and I were so impressed with The Inn at Magnolia Oaks, we are looking forward to a return trip. Clyde and Cecilia, Savannah, GA
5 out of 5A delight...
July 02, 2012
What a delight it was for my husband Kevin and I to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary in this lovely bed and breakfast. Every detail of the Inn was just perfect. The decor is beautiful and very inviting. The food is amazing! Our room was a welcoming retreat. Time on the porch is time well spent. Terry and Marie were such a blessing to us with their many kind words and actions. We will have fond memories of our delightful stay at Magnolia Oaks. Jennifer Connell Flowery Branch, Georgia
4.8 out of 5A Bed and Breakfast You Don't Want to Miss
June 18, 2012
Where do we start? The luxurious rooms, the delicious food, or the hospitality and graciousness of Terry and Marie? We have stayed at many bed and breakfasts over the years but none have come close to the experience we had at The Inn at Magnolia Oaks in Clermont, GA. From the very onset, we knew our stay was going to be a memorial one. The four guestrooms were beautifully decorated, exceptionally comfortable and immaculate. Terry's and Marie's attention to detail was impressive as we were greeted with fresh flowers (we even had a fresh magnolia blossom in a vase located on our dresser). Breakfast each morning was a three-course event that varied from fresh fruit parfaits, wonderful french toast, and their signature dish "The Hot Magnolia". The upstairs guest lounge was equally impressive with a comfortable couch and refreshments available al all times (don't miss Marie's famous tea cookies)! Downstairs was everything you could possibly want, beautiful furnishings, books, board games, etc, and evenings were filled with great wine and conversation with other guests, and Terry and Marie. My husband and I felt truly honored to be their first guests and were made to feel like dear "old friends." We highly recommend that if you are traveling to north Georgia to visit the wine country or to just relax, be sure to stay with Terry and Marie at The Inn at Magnolia Oaks for an exceptional experience! We plan on returning soon. P.S. Be sure to meet Lady Chablis. She's quite the charmer! Darrell and Renee' Richards
4.8 out of 5Step back in time, just a stone's throw from wine country
June 18, 2012
Terry & Marie are such wonderful, genuine hosts! My wife & I had an absolutely delightful evening at this B&B. The house is spectacular, the rooms are immaculate, the location is excellent for visiting the North Georgia wine country, and the owners are certainly gifted for being innkeepers. We felt 'at home' right from the start. Terry & Marie treat you more like good friends than paying customers. Don't miss the garden and be sure to do some front porch sittin'!

Hot Magnolia
The Inn's specialty for breakfast was created by Innkeeper Marie Dawson. Toasted tea biscuits are topped with creamed chipped beef (made with fresh milk from a local creamery) and a pyramid of chopped hard-boiled eggs in the center. When garnished with fresh spinach leaves, the plate resembles the magnolias out front. Beautiful and delicious!Special meal options
