An absolutely amazing foyer will usher you into the home. Historians and art enthusiasts will be thrilled by the 10 hand-painted murals adorning the foyer walls.
This lovely hall connects the Entry Foyer and front parlor with the sunroom. The 8' hand-painted murals ready your transition through the sunroom and into the beautiful backyard and gardens.
This beautiful mural is an artistic rendering of George Washington's Estate located at 3200 Mount Vernon Memorial Highway in Mount Vernon, Virginia.
The sunroom offers our guests an intimate and warm setting for breakfast, visiting, or simply reading a book or the newspaper. Comfortably seats 12-15 people.
The dining room remains under the watchful eye of Scarlett O'Hara as her framed picture graces the picturesque space which comfortably seats 25 people.
In addition to being a bed and breakfast, we have a full commercial kitchen on-site. We offer formal dining for groups of up 25-30, as well as a more intimate setting for the romantics in the house.

This historic Bed and Breakfast was built in 1895 and has been totally restored to surpass its original glory. Ten very unique wall murals, painted for Swainsboro during the 1930's, grace the walls of the Edenfield House. The property has 9 beautiful bedrooms; all with private baths and individually-controlled heat and air. More than half the bedrooms are on the first floor. Every patron is treated to the run of the house and served the best breakfast in town and beyond before they depart, consisting of your choice of eggs cooked-to-order, bacon, sausage, grits, and local fruits and nuts. We look forward to your visit!

Everything was superb. New owners accommodated plans for my overnight stay and a luncheon for 22 made a year earlier. We could not have asked for anything better. As for staying overnight, I could not have been more pleased with the room accommodations, ready. I was so pleased, in fact, that I have already stayed there a second week-end with my husband, and have made reaservations to stay there over the holidays.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Edenfield House Inn. It is immaculate and the rooms are beautiful. Our bedroom was huge and the bed very comfortable. Heather and Aaron are the perfect host and hostess. They met our every need - and then some. They are funny enough to be stand-up comedians and kept us laughing at their easy banter. The breakfasts were delicious and the coffee wonderful. We felt like part of the family by the time we left. We can hardly wait for our next visit to Swainsboro - we will definitely stay at the Edenfield House Inn. R. LeRoy

Aaron is a retired Air Force veteran, while Amanda still serves as a Security Forces officer in the Air National Guard. Amanda is an avid runner; competing in numerous 5+ mile race events annually. Aaron--along with daughters Heather and Megan--enjoys long brisk walks through the city of Swainsboro and plays tennis 3-4 times per week.
