Fantastic B&B in a great location

4.8 on February 24, 2015

Our stay at The Galloway House was everything we hoped for. From being dog-friendly to a great little apartment to stay in to a great location. Jim and Keith were great hosts and made us feel very welcomed. We will definitely plan to stay here again when we visit in the future.

We had a wonderful stay

We brought our mutts and they had a great time too.

Our own little apt.

I loved the Galloway house!! It felt like our own little apartment right in the heart of Savannah. Everything was within walking distance. Keith and Jim were so nice and helped with anything we needed! The room was perfect for us and the dogs felt right at home. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone looking for a quite little get away!

A Charming Place

4.2 on February 04, 2015

An excellent place to stay and superior to almost any other place anywhere that accepts dogs. The hosts, Jim and Keith, go the extra mile to make the stay enjoyable. The accommodations, though on the small side, are beautifully decorated and comfortable. The property contains lovely gardens and parking is directly outside off the back alley. However, the neighborhood is in transition and a long walk to the historic district.

Cutest B&B owners really nice!!

My bf and I only stayed one night but we regretted that instantly. We wish we could have stayed longer and we want to go back as soon as we can! Very cute, very welcoming, homey, great coffee and muffins, I have nothing bad to say only good things!

Marvellous B&B

Very nice apartment in carriage house with a king size poster bed and a kitchen with full size fridge and stove, in a nice quiet area in the Victorian area of the Historic District

Comfortable, quiet and spacious

4.0 on January 10, 2015

We stayed in the 3rd floor apartment on both legs of our road trip to Florida. The apartment had plenty of room for our two dogs to move around and the full kitchen came in handy. There was a continental breakfast available in the apartment; the complementary water and bottle of wine were most appreciated. The bed was very comfortable. This apartment worked out perfectly for us!

Outstanding Savannah getaway

5 on January 05, 2015

What a lovely place. There is a comfortable front porch, a lovely sunroom, and spacious living and dining areas. The kitchen is smallish, but ample enough for any cooking you want to do on your vacation. The house is a bit south of the downtown hustle and bustle though close enough to walk (1.5 miles). We ran downtown and back a few times and during the day we would park at Forsyth Park and walk the squares. At the end of the day, it was nice to get out of it all to our quiet neighborhood. The hosts are amiable and informative. They left provisions for a substantial continental breakfast, etc. etc. Hope to be back soon!

Awesome first time experience

Beautiful, clean, B&B located in southern part of historical district. Pet friendly, welcoming and extremely comfortable. Would definitely return. Great first time visit to Savannah and first time staying at a B&B. Jim and Keith are extremely hospitable. Love the experience!!!!

About the innkeepers

I live and work on the 2nd floor of the main house with (3) rescued Great Danes along with my partner Jim. I've traveled through all of Central America, most of South America, Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and Asia so I know how important a bottle of wine, a hot shower and a good bed can be after a long day on the road.
